John McCain:
2:39 – “Those ties cannot be broken. We were brought together by shared ideals and by shared adversity. We’ve been comrades in struggle, and trusted partners in the quest for peace. We are the most natural of allies, and like Israel itself, that alliance is forever.“
Barack Obama:
2:54 – “I want you to know that today I’ll be speaking from my heart, and as a true friend of Israel. And I know that when I visit AIPAC, I am among friends. Good friends. Friends who share my strong commitment to make sure that the bond between the United States and Israel is unbreakable today, unbreakable tomorrow, unbreakable forever.”

I found the McCain tube to be ‘removed due to copyright infringement’??? and the Obama track has no audio.
Well, Obama was full of it anyway.

Israel has historic claims to the land it occupies as does Palestine. The main thing here is that in Israels attempt to protect itself through Zionism, they have kept their thumb on the palestinians and seem content with keeping Palestine a ghetto. There are more Jews in the United States then all countries except for Israel and there is nothing wrong about pointing it out. There is a stong Jewish lobby in the US and Great Britain. That is why they receive support from these countries to carry out there current policies. Economically we are tied and militarily we are tied. That is why we are freinds, although I do find Obama and McCain entertaining as they spit rethoric. Essentially, Israel is taking advantage of the United States and her soldiers. We have become the sheild for Israel and therefore an enemy to Israel’s enemies. To take it one step further we have become an occupying force in countries many Americans cannot find on the world map and have bled for Israel.

No, the European Jewish occupiers of Palestine base their illegitimate claim upon their seizure of that land from the Caanites. So considering how old their claim of being wronged is, the relevance of their theft of the land in the first place, and subsequent covet by religious delusion has no relevance.
Solve the problem by withdrawing US taxpayer support of the region. Aren’t we capitalists? We should be dealing fairly; someone is going to pay for this. I will not stop at incarcerating the doers, apparently thats not enough; I will put down their entire bloodline.
Is that jewish enough for you?

I think only Ron Paul supporters come here and share their feelings. I’ve got his manifesto.. so sad~ so sad that he was pushed out.. I want to go to Washington DC and join you, guys; even it might sound funny, he is even hero of mine, an uzbek guy, who has nothing to do with american politics. Wish you and myself lots of patience..

Mike,
The problem is they’re not just allies, they’re pretty much our masters. The way things are right now, Israel is NOT a friend of anyone… they seem to abuse, exploit and try to control everyone they come in contact with. They do NOT deserve to be an eternal, unconditional ally of the greatest country in the world. We deserve much better than that.
Israel is already more powerful than all its opponents together and they can take care of themselves. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that actually has nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, and continues to defy UN resolutions to grant access to inspectors. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has a history of committing PROVEN state sponsored terrorism against the US (Lavon affair, USS Liberty, others we probably don’t know about). In 2005, Israel publicly honored the terrorists that attacked US installations in a false flag operation, and the US media was completely silent about it.
There is considerable evidence that Israel knew about 9/11 in advance and did nothing to prevent it. The evidence was suppressed by the ADL. They attacked Fox News and forced them to stop their investigation into Israeli spying prior to 9/11. Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, when asked what the 9/11 attacks meant for relations between the US and Israel, replied, “It’s very good.” Then he edited himself: “Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.” Those are not the words of a friend or ally!
Anyone who speaks out against Israel, or just asks honest questions, is smeared as an anti-Semite and attacked with career ending consequences. I understand why Obama and McCain did what they had to do… otherwise they would be gone tomorrow. I believe that McCain really meant what he said. Obama I really hope was just pandering. He overdid it a bit with all that slime flowing from his mouth so I hope he has a sense of humor and exaggerated everything he said to point out the hypocrisy in American politics.
Ron Paul is a true American hero. He never pandered to foreign interests, but he did have the courage to vote in favor of Israel defending itself at a time when it was politically inconvenient to do so. Israel is a real country, their forefathers conquered it (just like ours conquered America), and they have all the right to defend themselves. But they shouldn’t control US politicians the way they do, nor use our military to fight their wars for them. And they should allow open criticism and discussion without shouting “anti-Semite” at every opportunity, which is a lie because it’s not about Jews. Actually some Jews I know are angry at the Israeli leadership because they give all Jews a bad name in the minds of simple minded people.
I have an open mind and if you have a different viewpoint on why our politicians should support a foreign nation to the point of sacrificing our soldiers and economic viability then tell me.

But whats wrong with being allies with Israel? I think its our duty as a superpower to try to keep the balance there. Remember, without the US support for Israel, the 22 Arab nations and Iran would probobly wanna wipe Israel out of the face of earth!! Which is completely wrong and criminal to say the least.
Those two sides are bitter at each other for the past 60 years, and they need a balanced mediation to pull off a peace treaty and end the violence there once and for all.
I think it is important for us, as Americans, not to discriminate against Jews or Muslims or Arabs, and treat everyone in a just and fair way- in an American way.
I am very sympathetic to the cause of the Jewish people and their sufferings through out history, just as I am sympathetic towards the suffering of the Arabs nowadays under dictatorships everwhere, an the worldwide discrimination flare up against Muslims lately, for no obvious reason other than their religious affiliation!.
We ought to be careful not to erect walls of hate between any group of human beings. God Bless America.

Amen. Our generosity and support to other nations is one of the reasons America gained wealth in the past. It’s all about politics.. globally. I believe God has blessed us for our continued support for Israel. Israel’s enemies are beyond dangerous and will stop at nothing to put Israel (& AMERICA) off the map. We are already in this war. There is no going back from the truth of that statement. War doesn’t just end when one country withdraws.. especially considering the opposing force. The war would continue but on our turf. More innocent lives would be taken.. like that of 9/11. There is a reason both opposing parties support war in Israel right now. I am in complete agreement with you, Mike. Very well put.

Mike, many of those walls that are erected have a Made In The USA emblem, figuratively of course.
And I don’t recall Congress declaring war.

Bush is a peacenick compared to these two warmongers. Did you ever see Obama having an honest smile or laugh that wasn’t cold and calculating? The man is a bitter, power-crazed Machiavellian to the core who will probably bomb Iran just because.
McCain is even worse! He looks pretty tired, will he last until the election? He was tortured and brainwashed in Vietnam, admitted that he committed war crimes, and and is, even according to George W. Bush, unfit to be President.
AMERICA WAKE UP!

I thought Obama was anti-war? And now he no longer rules out a nuclear first strike against Iran! It’s sad that he would betray his supporters (and his country) so quickly, just one day after he got the nomination. Time for Ron Paul (the real anti-war candidate) to get back into the race and for these two traitors to run for the Presidency of Israel.

I see this is as it is ….Both of them are bought by big corporations to push the same agenda. It is ridiculous how false they are. Why care so much about Israel??? What’s in it for us?? That’s what I want to know.
But it is obvious that the US stands to gain something from supporting Israel (probably a never-ending market for selling weapons?). And these candidates are so phony. This Israel issue stands out as a strange issue to be talking about at this point in a primary. Who cares about Israel compared to our own countries issues, really? The two idiot candidates are so non-geniune and their false rhetoric is so cold and empty. But it’s the same story every election…

A right. I served, and quit due to BS political agendas. My father was on that ship, I was raised by immigrants seeking better deal; I have xrays of the brutal ideas of rearing a child they had. I’m a white man… pay your taxes, slaves, lest this happen to you.
