Israel has historic claims to the land it occupies as does Palestine. The main thing here is that in Israels attempt to protect itself through Zionism, they have kept their thumb on the palestinians and seem content with keeping Palestine a ghetto. There are more Jews in the United States then all countries except for Israel and there is nothing wrong about pointing it out. There is a stong Jewish lobby in the US and Great Britain. That is why they receive support from these countries to carry out there current policies. Economically we are tied and militarily we are tied. That is why we are freinds, although I do find Obama and McCain entertaining as they spit rethoric. Essentially, Israel is taking advantage of the United States and her soldiers. We have become the sheild for Israel and therefore an enemy to Israel’s enemies. To take it one step further we have become an occupying force in countries many Americans cannot find on the world map and have bled for Israel.

So wrong in so many ways. The naivete seems to be yours.

No fan of Ron Paul would celebrate the death or wounding of a soldier.
As a soldier, I am confused about the need to police the globe with more than 700 military bases in more than 100 countries.

Progress in Iraq? They started making progress after we stopped bombing the shit out of them. They still barely have any working water or sewage systems. It may be many years before they can even get back to where they were as far as infrastructure goes.

Iraq had zero to do with 9-11. Pure and simple, we have an undeclared war started under false pretenses.

But the rest of your rant disproves this statement.

You have no clue about Ron Paul or his supporters.

Thank you so much for this. I have at least 3 relatives overseas as we speak… and they say the same thing about our heroic and successful effort in defense for Iraq. War is inevitable. It’s a part of life. It will never end until human race is rid of all hatred, insecurity, greed, and pride. This will NEVER happen. Therefor, war will always be a reality. So will sorrow. I couldnt agree more with you. Thank you for your efforts in Iraq. You sacrificed a year of your life for the safety and honor of our country. God bless you! & God bless America.

If it’s so good, then why is it that every country that has it regrets wholeheartedly for every voting to enforce it? Mortality rates up, standards/ quality of care declines, waiting lists to see a doc is rediculous, freedom of choice to healthcare is demolished, and eventually we move to a socialist environment. This is NOT what America was founded to become. What have we fought for in history? FREEDOM!
I work in a hospital so I know the reality of what will happen if healthcare is nationalized. Research before you make a rash decision on this.

Amen. Our generosity and support to other nations is one of the reasons America gained wealth in the past. It’s all about politics.. globally. I believe God has blessed us for our continued support for Israel. Israel’s enemies are beyond dangerous and will stop at nothing to put Israel (& AMERICA) off the map. We are already in this war. There is no going back from the truth of that statement. War doesn’t just end when one country withdraws.. especially considering the opposing force. The war would continue but on our turf. More innocent lives would be taken.. like that of 9/11. There is a reason both opposing parties support war in Israel right now. I am in complete agreement with you, Mike. Very well put.

To answer your question Dan, Yes, some republicans have gone insane. They are the people supporting the owner of this web site. I came here this morning to take a good, honest look at Ron Paul due to the fact that niether mainstream candidate is fit to be our next president. It amazes me how ignorant Ron’s supporters are of reality, history, and world events. Some of the stuff Ron speaks about I do agree with, but many of his positions are so destructive and crazy that they would only spiral our country further down the toilet bowl.

I think the abolishment of the IRS and having only sales tax would be good (taxing all purchases except real estate). I think Social Security needs to be abolished immediately and that our borders also need to be locked down so we know what’s coming in and out of our counrty.

The whole “bring all troops home from everywhere” is just about the dumbest and most nieve thing I’ve ever heard. The Ron Paul idiots around my town hold ‘anti-war’ protests every week where they foam at the mouth about Bush’s ‘War Crimes’ and celebrate every time a soldier is wounded or killed. They do all this in the name of so called honesty, transparency and free speech. I was in Iraq from 1/05 to 1/06 and during that year I saw an incredible amount of progress (economically and socially)and gratefulness and support from the local population that would never be seen on the news here. My friends and I would be pissed every time CNN and the BBC had reports on the progress of Iraq because it’s either the U.S. failing, or no news to report.

You may argue that we don’t belong there to begin with. That’s not my point. The point is that we are there and we will end up with another vietnam style genocide if we pull out and leave the fledgling government to itself. Given time and more help, the Iraqi people will end up with the beginnings of a democracy that we have wasted and squandered in pursuit of the easy life. These things are way to complicated to explain or debate on a forum post by post but if you actually do some research while getting high in your mom’s basement you might actually learn something. If you want to be an idiot pascifist, go ahead and die on your knees slowly and painfully. As for me, I will never stop standing up for myself and my country because the countries and ideologies we are in conflict with want nothing more than for us to surrender. There will always be war, there will always be sorrow.

Our military has saved more innocent people from man’s inhumanity to man than any other entity in history except for Christianity, and it is our moral obligation to stand up for those who can not defent themselves. This includes Isreal (founded as a result of the holocaust). My only problem with Isreal is that they have lost their vigilance and started down the path of appeasement that Ron, Hillary and Hussein Obama profess.

There is the easy way and the RIGHT way. I know what side Ron Paul is on.

I think only Ron Paul supporters come here and share their feelings. I’ve got his manifesto.. so sad~ so sad that he was pushed out.. I want to go to Washington DC and join you, guys; even it might sound funny, he is even hero of mine, an uzbek guy, who has nothing to do with american politics. The problem is they’re not just allies, they’re pretty much our masters. The way things are right now, Israel is NOT a friend of anyone… they seem to abuse, exploit and try to control everyone they come in contact with. They do NOT deserve to be an eternal, unconditional ally of the greatest country in the world. We deserve much better than that.

Israel is already more powerful than all its opponents together and they can take care of themselves. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that actually has nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, and continues to defy UN resolutions to grant access to inspectors. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has a history of committing PROVEN state sponsored terrorism against the US (Lavon affair, USS Liberty, others we probably don’t know about). In 2005, Israel publicly honored the terrorists that attacked US installations in a false flag operation, and the US media was completely silent about it.

There is considerable evidence that Israel knew about 9/11 in advance and did nothing to prevent it. The evidence was suppressed by the ADL. They attacked Fox News and forced them to stop their investigation into Israeli spying prior to 9/11. Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, when asked what the 9/11 attacks meant for relations between the US and Israel, replied, “It’s very good.” Then he edited himself: “Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.” Those are not the words of a friend or ally!

Anyone who speaks out against Israel, or just asks honest questions, is smeared as an anti-Semite and attacked with career ending consequences. I understand why Obama and McCain did what they had to do… otherwise they would be gone tomorrow. I believe that McCain really meant what he said. Obama I really hope was just pandering. He overdid it a bit with all that slime flowing from his mouth so I hope he has a sense of humor and exaggerated everything he said to point out the hypocrisy in American politics.

Ron Paul is a true American hero. He never pandered to foreign interests, but he did have the courage to vote in favor of Israel defending itself at a time when it was politically inconvenient to do so. Israel is a real country, their forefathers conquered it (just like ours conquered America), and they have all the right to defend themselves. But they shouldn’t control US politicians the way they do, nor use our military to fight their wars for them. And they should allow open criticism and discussion without shouting “anti-Semite” at every opportunity, which is a lie because it’s not about Jews. Actually some Jews I know are angry at the Israeli leadership because they give all Jews a bad name in the minds of simple minded people.

I have an open mind and if you have a different viewpoint on why our politicians should support a foreign nation to the point of sacrificing our soldiers and economic viability then tell me.
