Jesse Ventura to attend Minnesota Rally

In a surprise video announcement Ron Paul revealed that former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura will attend the Rally for the Republic on September 2, 2008.

Ventura is an outspoken critic of the two party system and was mentioned several times as a potential VP running mate for Ron Paul. He published a book earlier this year, Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me.

I disagree with Boomer. I am a huge Ron Paul fan and after reading Jesse Ventura’s book and researching him I find that he is a good fit for the convention. He is against big government, lobbyist, and he has said that he agrees with Ron Paul’s exit strategy of just marching out of Iraq. Youtube Ron Paul Jesse Ventura. Good stuff. Wish i could be there.

  3. As a Progressive democrat dissatisfied with the global politics and selfishness of both parties, Ventura and Paul represent two people who would turn DC on its ear.

    WOW!

Back in May when he was promoting his book, Ventura couldn’t help but give praises to Obama for creating an excitement with discontent Americans when Dr. Paul was still in the running. He’s NEVER once mentioned Ron Paul and seems to take credit himself for this revolution.

I won’t be applauding his appearance at the rally.
