Amen, Ron Paul.

Legalize drugs now.

That's your best issue... You need to go after the people in this country who love freedom if you want to gain more ground in a future election.

Dear Ron Paul followers, Did you listen to that Sarah Palin CREATURE? and I can call her a creature from what I heard come out of her mouth with her interview with Charlie Gibson. Seems like you are pragmatists or you wouldn't have backed Congressman Paul. But let us be serious here; it is an unfortunately sad fact that Independents never win the Presidency!!! Go to 20/20 this friday on broadcast TV an listen to Sarah Palin's interview with Mr. Gibson and I'm sure that she will terrify you just as much as she doe me, unless you guys are all braindead. Wake Up People!!

Mr. Paul,

I applaud you with your speech and I admire your courage to speak the truth. At first I was hessitant to cross party lines, being raised a democrat, but with research and listening with an open mind in the last year, the message is clear, and you speak a powerful one! Chomsky, Gravel, Kucinich, and you are a great voice right now in this country, and need to be heard!
I hope that a 3rd party holds the two candidates to the fire, hopefully in a clear open debate! One of my biggest issues when I started to get into Politics a year ago was foreign policy and NAFTA/WTO and now Monetary.
To be truthful I consider myself a classic liberal that of one of Jefferson / Von Humbolt / John Locke / Even John Dewey... all those wonderful men...
Let Freedom & Liberty ring, I'll do it here in San Francisco!

History will show two things about Ron Paul. The first is that he stood up and waved the banner of freedom. The second is that he sat down immediately afterward.

The fact that Ron Paul has chosen to stay in the Republican Party at the demise of his movement shows that he is afraid for his own skin and most likely has taken that course as the lesser of two evils that he is choosing from choices that have been given him. I assure you that if he had chosen to run on a third party candidacy he would have gotten many more votes than Perot.

Having this happen again was not in the best interest of the Republicrats and their corporatist, globalist grip on power which they have almost completed and will only give up if it is pried from their cold dead hands. They feel just as strongly about their place in history as do the libertines.

In the end I am heartened by the reference to the change that comes from within, but I think it is too slow. I think this is going to get really ugly before it gets any better and it getting better will depend on which side wins.

One can only hope that there is a shred of divine interest left in this country. Most "Christians" have believed in the lie that changed the Sabbath to Sunday without biblical precedence and they have also allowed their churches to be a place of commerce. These were the two things their Christ said not to do. They hardly love their neighbors and they certainly worship the plasma screen much more than they do the God of the Universe.

God said to Isreal (NOT Judah) If you honor the Sabbath and keep it holy I will protect you. It is ALL that God said the separated tribes of Isreal had to do. Funny that the Sabbath is Saturday and the Pope decides to declare that the Sabbath is on Sunday, the ONLY law that God said we as Isreal had to follow.

Isreal is not JUDAH (the modern state of Isreal). Shortly after the death of Solomon the kingdom split up with ten tribes moving to Samaria as their capital and two tribes staying with Jerusalem as their capital. Those who chose Samaria as their capital were called Isrealites and those who chose Jerusalem as their capital were called Jews or Judeans.

So when God said honor the Sabbath and keep it holy he was talking to the Isrealites, who through the diaspora became the Europeans and through the revolution became Americans. It just seems funny to me that these same evangelicals who run stores in their churches and honor the Sabbath as Sunday and teach others to do the same are the same who are moving their agenda into our lives. Does that not strike you as interesting as well.

Know history and you know the truth. Hitler banned books long before he burned them and Hitler started with the "popular" enemy in his death camps right before he started rounding up everyday Germans.

Personally I think this whole thing is disgusting and I suspect the God that founded this Republic is also thoroughly disgusted with you.

So good luck. You may soon be eating your children and your children may soon be eating you. Think I'm kidding? Think again.

Greetings from the U.K. Mr Paul, it was with a great rush of excitement when i recognised an american congressman running for president that spoke the truth.
Such a shame your party is a misnomer, i understand why it is you stay with them but they have made it patently clear that they are corrupt.
Please do not stop doing what you do, so that others may come to understand better the world we live in.

Peace and light.

Ron Paul, I think you are great and I loved your speech, as well as your appearance on the Cobert Report. Since third parties rarely succeed, which is a misfortune for our great Country the USA. Being the cynical pragmatist that I am; it's a metaphor worth using, I call it pick your poison arsenic from the Democrats which won't kill you in small doses. Or cyanide from the Republicans that most assuredly will. And that 'Pit Bull with lipstick scares the hell out of me!!! If you Ron Paulites plan to vote in the upcoming election, I say take a dose of arsenic in favor of cyanide PLEASE!!!!
And REJECT those evangels who want to tell everyone else how to live and further shred our great Constitution. Palin and Cheney are type cast out of the same mold. Banning books from the library in Alaska was the most alarming thing I've ever heard. Be Afraid, Very Afraid of this person Palin.
Peace and Love from Angles Camp California

Great speech. Thank you, Ron Paul. I voted for him in 1988 as a Libertarian, and would probably have voted the first time for a Republican if he had been their candidate. Once again the Spirit of Truth comes out. Too bad that these messages aren't open to all, but have to be sought out by individuals searching for them. Mr.Paul was treated badly the entire time of the Republican Campaign, and treated even worse during the so-called Republican Convention. The speeches during the official convention were well written and delivered, but offer nothing but the same, tell-them- what-they-want-to-hear stuff. Both sides can only repeat their same old tired platforms. Mr. Paul, thank you again for your service, please keep up the "good fight". Hopefully some of your followers can also lend an ear to the message from Ralph Nadar. He also fights for Us and America.

Dr Paul,

You are one of the most dedicated and ethical senators that has ever graced this nation's congressional halls. A republican that would've survived ancient Athens. When speaking with peers and collaborators at a recent peace march in Denver, every single person in which I spoke had great faith in your agenda that you have had to fight even to be allowed to lay out. You absolutely devastated each candidate during the republican debates, they couldn't even try and challenge you. You can save this nation, you can lead us into a golden age of optimistic realism that would represent the desire of not just the younger generation in this country, but around the world and help empower peace through unity and prosperity. Your speech is a beacon of clarity in revolutionary times

Thank you for your patriotism, keep up the good work! And please please, if the false evangelical oligarchy has entwined itself to far into the main parties go third!!! You and Nader would be a great team if he was you vice pres! :)

Mr. Paul,

The entrenched two-party system, which is in no way mentioned or supported in the Constitution, has to go! I have watched all of the major (and some minor) speeches from both the Democrat and Republican conventions, and in precisely NONE of them have I heard anything approaching the common sense that you offer us every day.

We are at a tipping point in America and our entire way of life is threatened. Funny, even when I say that I feel like it sounds 'extreme' or 'reactionary'. But the truth is, America is in big trouble. As you say, the status quo cannot stand. I have personally seen my wages flatten and my real purchasing power decline severely over the last few years, as have most of us who are not insulated by enormous bank accounts.

I'm rambling, but I agree with you on EVERY SINGLE POINT that you make. And while Barack Obama is an impressive politician, and Sarah Palin tugs at the heart strings, they are both, on balance, more of the same ill-intentioned power structure which has torn this country apart.

As a final note, what in the HELL is the Federal government doing even talking about things like gay marriage or abortion? Both topics are almost always discussed in terms of religious beliefs, which are patently NOT part of our Constitution. We founded this country precisely so that one specific set of religious beliefs would be used to govern the people. Ridiculous.

I'm getting more and more frustrated as I write this. Both of the 'major' candidates for President would be bad for this country. It is so sad that they get virtually 100% of the co-opted media's attention.

Thanks again for keeping the truth, and basic common sense, alive.
