A message from Ron Paul:
Dear Friends,
Our journey together has been truly historic. As the final votes are tabulated and the curtain closes on this election, we must take time to reflect on our successes even as we turn our attention to the task before us.
Our campaign has stirred the sleeping giant by showing millions that freedom, peace, and prosperity are achievable. We know that these things can come about only through sound money, limited government and a respect for the inherent rights of every individual. We have awakened the political class to the popularity and viability of Liberty. And, most of all, we have awoken within ourselves a spirit of freedom and independence that cannot be suppressed by any ruler, army, or philosophy of subservience and fear.
Yet we must not reflect long. We must press our efforts and lay the groundwork for the future of our movement and our country. The 2010 election cycle is just around the corner. We must redouble our efforts to educate our fellow citizens, recruit and support liberty candidates, and marshal our resources for the battle ahead.
Ours is the most solemn charge of all: to defend Liberty in this bleak hour lest the very notion that man might best govern himself be scoured from this land and from the conscience of mankind.
In our campaign for liberty, we’re just getting started. Let the Revolution begin.
- Ron Paul: They’ve Turned Their Attack Dogs Loose On Me! Ron Paul sent out the following email alert earlier today: From: Congressman Ron Paul Sent:...
- Adam Kokesh to Ron Paul: The Revolution is alive and well! Ron Paul and Adam Kokesh met in the Congressman’s office in Washington, DC on Tuesday,...

I wrote you in on the ballot. Let the Revolution begin, because we are all in for a really big disaster. I can’t believe what kind of change is starting to take place right after Tuesday night. I am scared and worried, but if I can tell 5-25 people a day about what is about to come and what we should prepare for….the Revolution will be HUGE. Ron Paul you are my hero for ever and ever and ever. Thank for all of your truth and your concern for all of us HUMAN beings. Every other person in government see all of us HUMANS as animals/terrorist. Thank you for this Ron Paul!

Give me a black (or any color) man or a woman any day ::IF:: they are a GOOD Libertarian or Constitutionalist. Because I support Ron Paul wholly; and because I didn’t like Bob Barr’s activities here in Georgia, I used my voice and voted Chuck Baldwin as a write in. Anything else would have been a farce. There is no lesser of two Evils, the Evils had the same face. I voted Paul in the primaries. I would like to see him President one day. People were worried about his age. Maybe age has brought him wisdom. But will he be able in 2012? Dr. Paul has our best interests at heart like no other candidate. He knows what will and won’t work. Turning a runaway train around takes more than 4 years. Has he got the stamina to lead us afterwards, or is someone else going to have to immerse themselves in him enough to carry his torch for us? That’s a tall order to fill! There were so many I heard speak of the lesser of 2 evils and being tired of government in their lives but feeling that a vote for anyone other than the 2 recognized candidates was a wasted vote. That one premise lost it for Liberty this election thanks to Big Media owned by Big Government. I have felt that maybe after 4 years of Obama (If God sees us through alive) that perhaps it would strengthen our case for a Libertarian win. I sincerely hope that we can also abolish the electoral college BS so that isn’t an issue any more. I tried very hard to sway my family, but they were too hard to sway and voted McCain on the reasoning that Obama was a Muslim?/ black man (so what?)/greater of 2 evils(was he?) which they could not vote for and they felt McCain was a God fearing strong military proponent and anything else was a wasted vote. Yes It’s rural Ga. *sigh* It was a solace to me that there were unknown, unseen others in my neighborhood that campaigned and voted for Ron Paul in the primaries. I know this because I saw the campaign signs and bumper stickers around. I wish I had known who they were. Good to know that even here people are WAKING UP. I want to add an aside to this. I work with a black Muslim man from Gambia whom I see and feel, by his daily actions and conversation, is as fine a person as and seemingly better than a lot of the so-called Christians I know. He is hardworking, resectful, caring, kind, bright, reverent, and has a strong sense of Justice. We respect him for that.

local meet ups. If you support the ideas of Liberty and respect for the constitution. If you agree with Dr. Paul, show up to your local Republican Party meetings, and let your voice be heard!
Now is the time when the republican party will set it’s goals for the future. Now after this great defeat of foolish neo-con ideas, and a realization that the GOP needs to reform itself… it is time to shape that reform.
Dr. Paul has the cure for what’s ailing the republican party!
So get out there and help pass out the medicine!

RTGreenwood,
Things may not be as stark as they look.
When the democrat party was deciding whether to go with Hillary or Obama, I was scared to death they might choose Obama and he might make it to the oval. But then I read his voting record. I didn’t like it, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought at first. Chances are he is just appeasing the ultra-left wingers with his words and his actions may tell a different story.
The devil we need to watch out for is congress.

My support for Ron Paul is strengthened by this election. I have read The Revolution. I reread the Constitution. We must NOT as Karl Rove says sit back and watch. This new Socialist government needs confrontation at every step as it will attempt to create a European style socialism with a Chicago labor union/Illinois-Chicago corruption flavor. 48% of America did NOT vote for the Socialist. That is a huge positive. I am looking forward to seeing the Commonwealth of Virgina return to liberty. November 4 was the worst day for Virginia. November 5 was a little better….today will be a little bit better…tomorrow…..
God Bless Ron Paul, Ron Paul supporters, and especially all of you in Texas 14th for keeping that heartbeat going.

What better day to speak of revolution than on the fifth of november? Sure, Guy Fawkes was not nearly as honorable in intention but nevertheless, I find it ironic.

Eight years of the Bush regime has revealed the real culprit in America, it is the system of “law”..Both parties are equally guilty of making the “law”.The “law” allowed the Wall St. Plunderers to steal the wealth of US taxpayers and small investors The “law” is in and of itself, a pyramid scheme…The fakers in congress (mostly) lawyers who pass “what’s in it for my reelection legislation” believe the country to be their plaything; They have allowed the basic rights (Of the Constitution)and basic laws (Of Mose’s Tablets) to be vilified…What is the solution?- There is none, save the precepts of B F Skinners “work credits”.The “law” and it’s non -productive practioner’s are making a formerly great productive country a land of “legal” idiots..It seems my dead boyhood friends (Korea) died in vain.Freedom and ethics along with common sense have passed with that which this country once stood for; too…Thanks Congressman Paul, for keeping the voice of freedom crying in the wilderness of Congress. You are in the mold of the framers…God bless you…..

Nice to know my vote was not counted. I wrote in Ron Paul on election day in Pennsylvania – the only third party candidates were Ralph Nader and Bob Barr, so Chuck Baldwin wasn’t even an option. I voted with my conscience, and am proud, despite the state I live in not acknowledging it.

Memoirs of a former McCainiac:
In 2000, I was a McCainiac. John McCain warned me at the time that Bush was a big spender from Texas, and that spending increased under Bush in Texas faster than Clinton in Washington. Yikes. Spending and small government is my issue, so I am a libertarian.
Fast-forward 8-years… Bush took a sub-$2 trillion budget, and took it to a >$3.5 trillion budget this year. Nice to see the party of small government turn ito the big government party… Not.
****
McCain won the primary because he had a reputation as a liberal Republican. Then he re-ran the 2004 Bush-incumbant campaign. A 51% campain. Yuck.
Then he gave up on his reputation as a pork-barrel fighter with the Palin selection and then supporting a $700 billion bailout. Yuck.
*****
Alternative VP candidates… with the incumbant campaign, Huckabee was the strongest pick. Probably a losing play. On National Security, Powell would have been the strongest pick… if he could get him.
Ron Paul as the VP was probably the only winning play. They had a disagreement on the war, so this may have never worked. It might have, though.
An anti-Bush, libertarian message may very well have won this election for the Republicans. Screw the base, win the middle… the base would probably turn out anyways.
The message would have been… “Vote for Obama and elect another Democratic President, Vote for McCain and Paul and you will change the republican party forever.” I think that was a winning message.
*****
Those are my thoughts. Ron Paul wasn’t on the ballot in Florida. Barr, Nader, Baldwin ran lazy campaigns, so I didn’t think their campaigns worthy of my vote. I decided on Obama after the third debate. However, if Paul was on the ballot, I would have voted for him.

The More Parties the better. I’d love for the Republican party to break down into a few smaller parties. The end result would be a true 1 party system until the Democrats were exposed via their unilateral policies as a corrupt irredeemable plutocracy hopefully resulting in its breaking down as well. We’ll end up with alot more parties and alot more competition which will result in a better government(Just like competition improves business.

Ron Paul you are truly an inspiration. I have flirted with both parties in my short voting career and never have I been as proud as I am now to have supported you in this election. Now that I have found my place, I will continue to support the revolution.
This is not democracy without our voice.
God Bless.

I suggest we all donate the rebate tax checks we get to the Campaign for Liberty. The way I look at it that is stolen property because it is money I did not earn. I’m sure as hell not going to give it back to the government. I can’t think of a better way to spend $500. Use their own corruption to fight these people. They can fund their own downfall.

We need to start a media campaign. Obviously this will cost a lot of money. That is the only way to reach the masses. I am wondering why it was not done this past year. Just let Obama in for about a year and see the damage he does, and witness all the campaign promises he breaks. Then it will be time to reach out to the public. As they pay more taxes and the lack of human rights spreads the public may actually take notice.

After the election I had some thoughts concerning the viability of the new president WE have elected. I say “we” only because the burdens that come as a result of the majority’s neglect to use rational thought when making decisions are inherited by all of us. So “we” are all responsible to some extent. The burdens I am talking about will take shape in the form of expected and unexpected negative consequences of policy. Our subsequent struggles to overcome these consequences are the symptoms to our societal sickness. Unfortunately our form of democracy exposes us all to this sickness; because even though some of us did not willfully consent to the choice of Obama, we are still compelled to suffer under the weight of any negative consequences that may originate from his policies. (ie economic, social and political injustices). So… no, I am not content to blindly trust that Obama will do a good job. Call me cynical, I call it realistic.
Sadly, the once plentiful “medicine” needed to cure this sickness is becoming increasingly scarce. Nevertheless, here is what we need to get better: the protection of true personal liberty, privacy, property, true free market economics, and responsible foreign policy. Yes…common sense, it’s that easy. Common sense is the foundation of true “change” (the new #1 most misappropriated word).
Honestly, I have to respect the enthusiasm for Obama. That is, if I presuppose that said enthusiasm is generated solely by the notion of change (which I don’t entirely believe). But Obama does not seem to offer any real positive change that I can see. Is positive change more government intrusion in our private lives? Is it expanded control over the money we earn? Is it more partisan bickering? Is it the failure to address real problems in realistic ways? Is it relying on finger pointing instead of accountability? Both candidates were guilty of this, thus they were both more of the same. Obama won, so now he gets the brunt of the criticism. I only see two changes from the previous administration 1. the rhetoric used to obscure their complicit involvement in those activities mentioned above. 2. the person/s disseminating the rhetoric.
As for Obama’s presidency, if he is able to enact all the policies he has campaigned on I think it will be a complete disaster. But I hope I’m wrong about Obama. Like it or not, he will be our president and we are all subject to his whims. I hope he proves me completely wrong, because if he doesn’t…we are in big trouble. Just because Obama might mean well in the things he does, doesn’t mean they are the right things to do. We must remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and we have just handed a relatively unknown leader an unprecedented amount of it. So…temper any enthusiasm you may have with a healthy dose of skepticism and offset your biases by making sure your thoughts are intellectually honest. Most of all…remember that he works for us and it is our responsibility to make sure he’s doing the job we hired him for…and if he doesn’t, we can fire him in four years. And now…I shall have a beer.
P.S. Who is John Galt? Start asking yourself.

If you are a republican or democrat in government who has consistently squashed all attempts by third party candidates to speak to the American people in support of their parties views and beliefs in an election process that is supposed to be fair, open, free and un-biased, and you finally get knocked off of your pedistal and hit the ground face first as a result of your corrupt ways, then yes it is a good idea to just sit down and shut up. I have watched these republicans and democrats deliberately Sue to keep third party candidates off the ballots in several states in order to keep them from representing their constituents in national elections. I have watched the republicans and democrats refuse to allow the American voter the choice of hearing another voice by refusing to allow legitimate third party candidates the right to debate the two major parties in national debates before the American people. The national news media is just as guilty. Yes it is time for the bush republicans to sit down and shut up. It’s time that we allow diversity in our election processes even if it means that 3rd party candidates will debate the issues instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars bashing each others personal lives. Its time that we allow third parties into our election process even if it means that the republicans and democrats will be forced to answer questions fully, truthfully and without evading questions that deal with issues that the two majors parties are very uncomfortable talking about. We have a constitution and bill of rights in this country. Those documents are the basis for the laws that govern our way of life. The bush administration has tried their best to destroy the meaning of those very important documents and its time for people to stand up to bastards like george bush……….. Like I said, republicans, sit down and shut up.

As we each grow more literate, and more tolerant of other beings, we will see a government that reflects our maturity growing towards to be a government that knows its only hope for success is to follow the U.S. Constitution (especially in the areas that RP has outlined need to be realigned to that document) and to uphold universal human rights, no matter their party affiliation.

Obama’s now president, World Wide Socialism, Hooray!
The fractional reserve banking system is a pyramid scheme by definition, and a pyramid scheme, by its basic nature MUST KEEP EXPANDING if it wants to keep alive.
Without regard for the value of human life, the pyramid schemers will continue to sacrifice ANYTHING THEY CAN FIND to feed a fire that benefits no one.
Our financial system was created by a few individuals who wanted everyone else to die with as few toys as possible. At present, most people feed that system, not out of malice, but because they are ignorant of its destructive thieving nature.
For better understanding of this, watch Zeitgeist Addendum (available free online)
The fact that Ron Paul did not win the election is not our cue to shutup and take it up the rear for FOUR MORE YEARS until we finally get a chance to vote for him again.
It is, instead, our cue to start feeding ourselves instead of the fire.
More from me later
Never shut up!

I’m irritated that the write in votes were not counted, it’s a testimony to the broken process we call democracy. Well I did watch Obama’s victory speech and I noticed disturbingly similar things that Obama said that even president Bush said in his inauguration speech four years ago. I’ll throw together a video and post it on youtube and my website. Lets just hope such actions don’t label me a domestic terrorist!
BTW I wrote in Ron Paul, I deserve Bush as my persident only on account I did not vote last time, but I will not be deserving of Obama.

I am a NYS resident, so I was not allowed to write in Ron Paul, though I had every intention of doing so. I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Bob Barr as he is as much a Libertarian as I am a professional basketball player. The American people need not be satisfied w/mediocre candidates and when we say,”no,” we need to demand choice. I am utterly disillusioned. Utterly. I think I’ll move to Canada as I don’t think I can be around four years of insufferable smuggness that will emanate from all quarters. God, wake me in 2012.

Yesterday, I chose not to vote for the status quo. Yesterday, I held firm to my beliefs and voted for the person, whom I feel is the most qualified to be President of the United States and who is in touch with what intelligent Americans feel. I wrote in Ron Paul. My vote may technically have meant nothing, to me, standing on my principles meant EVERYTHING.

Living in socialist Poland in the early 80’s I experienced first hand what bad philosophy can do to its country, political system and ultimately it’s people. Each passing year, the US is looking more like soviet Russia. Abandoned business, unfinished roads, empty store shelves and a lack of life. Since coming to Canada I’ve always thought and talked highly of the US constitution and its freedoms. I am very disappointed to see United States move in the opposite direction BUT I am excited to know that people like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff still exist and are vocal about the reality of things.
God, faith or a black president will not solve this problem. Reality is what it is, and not what some Religion, Fascist or Communist paints it. There is no way of avoiding this mess, no matter how much you pray, believe or rationalize otherwise.
It is also Ironic that today is November 5th, “Remember, remember the 5th of November…”
Thank-you Ron Paul!

To DESTOY A NATION and ITS PEOPLE. To ROB US OF OUR FREEDOMS and OUR LIBERTIES. TO TORTURE. TO INCARCERATE WITHOUT TRIAL. TO ATTACK IRAQ ILLEGALLY AND PERFORM WAR CRIMES AND GENICIDE ON IT’S PEOPLE. Now give the democrats 4 years to finish takings whats left of our freedoms then maybe,JUST MAYBE we will have a PRESIDENT RON PAUL. I think we will need God’s help to get us out of this colossal mess. Our country’s moral values have declined so far that it will take something catastrophic and maybe supernatural to bring the people of this country to their senses, and realize what is important in life, and realize the benefits of virtue and good character.
45 million innocents have been slaughtered since the overturning of Roe V Wade. I fear God’s punishment is coming.

Thank you for leading the movement. Do you think you will be available in 2012? Should we go ahead and align ourselves with Mr Lawson?
Now some questions for the volunteers;
Will the meet-ups continue?
I am not able to participate with money but if anyone needs assistance with a Ron Paul type web site please contact me at fluidlyunsure@yahoo.com
How much bandwidth and storage space did this site take?
Did anybody catch the couple of strips about Ron Paul on XKCD? If so what did you think? While they may not have been flattering, the fact that they exist does show that he caught someones attention.

Well we now have a president Obama and the democrats are in charge of a country that is crumbling. But the good news is that the republicans are no longer standing in the captains chambers, with their two faced lies of conservatism staring back at us like the blood sucking leaches that the republican party has become. The democrats will continue to destroy our country with their big ideas of huge government, massive spending, massive government intervention into the lives of every American, but at least they don’t pretend to be conservative with their left hand while they pick pocket your wallet and steal your liberties with their right hand. They just steal what is yours and give it away to someone who didn’t earn it. RON PAUL is not only our last best hope for this country but from what I can see, he is our only hope. He is the only true conservative in government today who actually follows the constitution as it was written. Having the republicans out of power is the best thing that could have happened to this country in the long run. It will force these socialist republican bastards to sit on the back burner and not be allowed to have a voice, just as they have done time and time again to any third party candidate who even tries to represent his or her constituents in what is supposed to be OPEN, FAIR and HONEST ELECTIONS……So I say to John McCain, George bush and the rest of the (republican congress), SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP…….
SIT YOUR SORRY, PATHETIC ASSES DOWN AND SHUT UP.

Republican activist Grover Norquist, head of Americans for Tax
Reform, a conservative advocacy group, points to a record budget
deficit, the weakening economy and two unfinished wars and says
Republicans must “politely step away from the Bush presidency and say
we’re going back to basics.” For Mr. Norquist, that would mean a
return to Ronald Reagan’s emphasis on spending restraint, tax cuts,
and a robust — ‘but little-used’ — military.
