Want REAL CHANGE in the Federal Government NOW?

Then, if necessary, just refuse to go to work
starting July 4 until every elected and appointed
member of the Federal Government has resigned.
Instead peacefully assemble with like-minded citizens
to publicly express your committment to real change.
Note there is no legal method of recalling elected
Federal officials. Let the governors of the states
hold down the fort assisted by the remaining portions
of the Federal Government until the states conduct
special elections, say no later than Labor Day,
followed by immediate inauguration of the winners.
Incumbants would be free to run for their former
positions.

The stakes are huge. This may be the only way
we can avoid a disasterous confrontation between
lots of heavily armed people all believing they are
defending the Constitution of the United States of
America. That could only benefit the true enemies
of our government: those who war against freedom,
liberty, and the corresponding civic responsibility
that goes with it. These enemies include people who
run some foreign governments, some religious groups,
and some businesses. It also includes willing agents
of these people. Most people in the world aren't
against the Constitution. Too many people of means
within the United States are, however.

If you think this idea is nuts or unnecessary, I hope
you're right. But if you think this is a good idea,
spread it far and wide. Print it out and post it
everywhere you can. Email it to all your friends.
Note it on your Facebook page. Do it while you still
can.

Above all, no matter what you think, TALK about it.
As I said, the stakes are huge.

JD Your message is such a "downer"! There are MANY city,
state, township, county and school district public servants that
are JUST THAT - public servants. I grant you the "invisible government" however, this is still a republic and our work is certainly NOT in vain. Ron Paul is in the House as are Sam Brownback, Jeff Flake, Tim Murphy, etc. etc. etc.

"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses... This little coterie...run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...seizes...our executive officers...legislative bodies...schools...courts...newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.” - John Hylan

There are about 5 global media conglomerates: AOL/Time Warner, Disney/ABC, Bertelsmann, Viacom, and Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. I don't know what would change for them, probably not that much since Ron Paul is for free markets and unrestricted commerce. I would assume that they'd probably stop receiving preferential treatment in the legislative branch of This Republic, and that would have a ripple effect causing the media co's to realize that the well has dried up, and they no longer have to omit 1/3rd of the worlds pertinent news because of their political entanglements. I can only guess, I'm no economist and no fortune teller :)

I'm from New Hampshire and wrote-in Ron for president even though I knew it would not be counted. I felt if I voted for the other candidates I would be throwing away my vote anyway. It is interesting to still see Ron's signs on the sides of the roads around the towns in New Hampshire.
I was wondering how he did in California and what Ron's future plans maybe.

Ron,

Your message to the Republican party is abosoultely right on. How can we fighting two wars, approved medicare prescription program, ignoring federal deficit, etc. in the last eight years without raising taxes or trimming spending. The government is telling every citizen to follow the suite; thus, we are in a financial mess today. If we have a good and smart government, equitable society, and moral standings, we do not need to preach democracy and freedom over the world nor do we need to maintain so many military bases overseas, other countries will emulate us. We need to know our limitation and to strenghten our house before we can tell other countries what to do. Either we pay more taxes or cut spending, nothing comes free.
