Israel Invades Gaza – Ron Paul Responds

  • The idea for “preventive war” is spreading
  • We should be on neither side; that conflict has been going on for a long time
  • Even though Israel invades Gaza, we – the US – will be blamed for this
  • Palestinians are confined to a “concentration camp” and are no match for Israel
  • The Middle East is a powder keg
  • We’re involved in too many wars and are going bankrupt
  • 2009 will see inflation and a rapid deterioration of the dollar
  • We’re spending too much money, borrowing too much money, and printing too much money
  • Escalation in Gaza and Afghanistan means big trouble at the world stage and at home
  • The attack on our personal liberties continues

Update: Ron Paul was interviewed on the invasion by Press TV on January 5.

A country that has oil does NOT have to sell America its oil. That is not “sucking the life” out of anyone. Oil is not a basic human necessity like water or food (at least not for the US, who has other sources of fuel available). America can afford to procure oil (yes at a higher price) somewhere else. America can afford to procure anything because they can simply add more debt, that is how modern economy is run… credit, and what’s more Unpaid credit, and is required and encouraged to keep capitalism running.

Israel’s attacks are state commisioned, while the tower attacks were claimed by organizations, not Arab states.

    • VR says:

Thanks Sean, we’ve heard it all before.

      • sean says:

haha whatever. If you have ever listened to me, I say quite the opposite. I think Oil is a human necessity.

America doesn’t produce oil anywhere but America. We import it because we only have like 10 billion proven reserves and we consume 20 million+ barrels a day.

I don’t believe we should consume oil unless we produce it, but we only have 3 years worth at the rate we are going, so we need to make drastic changes. This IS the reason why we got off the gold standard. I want to get back to that point, realisticly.

Our own Govenment tried to cover that U.S.S Liberty mess up! Who knows if it was a mistake or not. I have my doubts, but to base whether you support somebody or not on the so called ‘atrocities’ they have committed? That is ridiculous because we don’t know what really happened. All we know is second hand info. All we know is that it happened. We don’t know why or who was involved, be it an order from Israel or from America or both. Besides, Israel apologized and made reparations. I have yet to see any Muslim countries help to rebuild the Towers or lives or make any kind of reparations, monetarily or otherwise. They are however, sucking the life out of us with this oil thing. Who should we support? Those who are blackmailing us with oil and Jihad? Or those who may have made a mistake, apologized and tried to make it better? Whose crime is worse?

  3. Bronzescorpion says:

Sigh. Obviously you are speaking emotionally instead of with intellect or education on this topic. Of course I believe allies should be supported. If you had friends would you NOT support them? What kind of friend would you be? I wonder. You grossly misused the term “irony”. There is nothing ironic about my post. There were no anecdotes and nothing was implied. I simply stated instances in history. Show me where I am dissenting. I do not support a person/government whatever. I support an ideal. America was built on the ideals of freedom and self-reliance. Do you not enjoy either of these things? Or are you one of those who enjoys government handouts, and being ruled under an iron thumb? If so, please leave. There are quite a few countries that live in those conditions. I will buy you ticket. (Another handout-see it’s free!) Part of the great beauty of this country is our first amendment right, which we are both utilizing now, the freedom of speech. I can say these things and not be punished for them in the Great USA! Where are you from that you feel so suppressed? How am I “twisting patriotism….”? What I am doing is showing the Ultimate Patriotism! I am supporting those who died to give me this freedom of speech? Did you not EVER take a history class? You must not be from America. In that case I can understand your ignorance to our ways, and your hateful feelings. Please look up some history while you’re on the Net. Google Haim Salomon, The Revolutionary War and Genesis 12:3. That should get you started. Thank you for reading my posts. I pray the seed grows.

  4. Dave Makkar says:

I am sick & tired of listening to BS by Zionist that Palestine belongs to them according to Biblical scriptures. 3000 years ago they were driven out of that land another cock & bull storey. Because of their prior ownership they are mocking God by butchering Palestinians and treating them worst than animals with money stolen from America to reclaim their Holy Land.

India which used to call Bharat according to Biblical times used to comprise Afghanistan, Burma (Mynmar) Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tibet (China). So according to human butcher Zionist Hindus of India rather around the world must re-claim land of these countries to make one Bharat. Hindus must butcher all those who do not agree with them.

Shame on America and all those brain paralyzed racist around the world who call Jews to be chosen people of God. How come enemy of humanity can be chosen people of world? These so called chosen people of God have converted America into a Zionist colony which is much bigger than Palestine; what else they need more now?

Then Zionist are also on the verge of declaring India as their 3rd colony after Palestine and America. Since 1991 when Zionist set their feet in India on the invitation of a criminal anti-Hindu Christian Sonia Gandhi; people of India are living with ethnic violence among Hindus & Muslims engineered by Zionist. Majority Hindu country India’s Hindu Leaders are sitting in the laps of Zionist with their foot in their mouth and playing with their curls; enjoying the destruction of their own country which is heading for Zionist slavery and uncertain times. Indians must start learning how to live in their own country under constant gun fire and ethnic violence under the same Zionist who kept them slave for 300 years in the name of British empire by East India Company under the majority control of Zionist traders.

  5. wanderer says:

The Jews were there first, such a common fundamentalist misnomer as stated by Judaeo-Christians (whatever that is I still don’t know). The Jews relinquished their rights to the land when God himself according to the Bible you people follow forced them out of the land. Not that you particularly follow the Bible, since it’s a pick ‘n’ mix book which should only be followed if it suits your interests. Since then outside people, not just Arabs, have come and settled in the Holy Land. At no point during the 2000 year diaspora did the Jews see that the land should be forced totally back to them, under military rule. In fact doing so would have broken the covenant they were placed under. Along comes Zionism, a modern political movement which wants to establish a state like the European powers of its day and have earthly rule and chooses Palestine as its home. WW2 happens and the Holocaust and the Zionists were offered land elsewhere but they refused and only wanted to take that which the Arabs owned, and owned they did, though under British rule at the time.

So my point, if you think it’s OK, for Jews to forcefully take that which they believe belongs to them because of the Bible, is this not the exact fundamentalism you are supposedly fighting out against? Hypocrisy much? Would it be any different if a Muslim kicked a Jew out of his home and took all his land and possessions? Or is the Bible just more authoritative that other sources in such matters?

Heck why not give the Jews part of Germany or France or some other European settlement? Why not give them large tracts of America as their home, should be easy enough to do. Except for the small fact you people know that it would cause a massive backlash against them like the Palestinians. A Jewish homeland in the heart of Germany…. absurd, unseemly, am I right?

Or how about giving back the whole of America to the Native Americans who lived in it? Why the silent hypocrisy? Shouldn’t the white man get out of America as well? Or am I being racist now.

The irony with the Bible argument is that modern Israel is NOTHING like the promised land of Israel in scripture. Modern Israel is a mostly secular, military occupation, not a land set up by God through peace and a beacon unto the nations.

But America and Israel as you have sowed so shall you reap, know that God is not mocked. And beginning to reap you are. The Jews among you should ask your Rabbi’s to read for you the punishment that God promised you in the Torah and the Talmud if you ever broke the covenant altogether as a people, to quote the scriptures “You would be hunted openly in the fields and killed en masse”.

  6. Bronzescorpion says:

Goodness! So much controversy and back and forth. Whew! This is how wars get started! lol.
It’s like this, If you are Bible believing, God fearing..you know how this conflict began and how it is going to end. If you are a History major, You know how the story began and the details thus far. If you are Bible believing and God fearing-then you are very well equipped! (Haters don’t phase me so say what ya want). Personally, I don’t think Americans should baby Israel and jump in at every sign of an issue.
For history majors, remember Haim Saloman (1740-1785)? He was a Jew. If it hadn’t been for his initiative and support (both financially and otherwise, but mostly financial) during the revolutionary war, we, America would not be hear to bitch and moan about this conflict in the first place. He went bankrupt helping us. And we won the war! So, out of gratitude, we basically owe our country to him and the other countries who helped us in our infancy (I never read about Irag/Iran or any Muslims helping. Correct me if I am wrong!)
For the Bible believing-God fearing, we support Israel because it tells us to from Gen 12:3 on to Acts 3:25-26.
If you don’t have either view, God fearing nor Historical, then…wait….this is harsh and thus politically incorrect…LEAVE THE COUNTRY! Go start your own somewhere with your own rules and ideologies! My point? Apreciate where you came from and how America came to be. For “He that doesn’t learn history (in it’s unbiased entirety) is soon doomed to repeat it.” Love your brother. After all, we all came from the same stuff.

    • wanderer says:

The great irony of your post is that effectively you’re saying that as an American you should support Israel because it’s the American patriot duty to do so, using half-baked anecdotal examples as evidence. Whilst at the same time you’re on a Ron Paul board showing dissent to the government of today. Irony of the highest magnitude. Not only that but twisting patriotism in such confined notions is a highly dangerous road to be taking.

And your example of some Jews giving money for revolutionary causes I could if I deemed it fit, give you a decent argument of the modern Zionist controlled US money supply and financial institutions whose actions are anything but patriotic.

But God is on your side am I right? You’re right on one thing though Americans and Zionist two peas from the same pod. Arrogant, imperialist, deceitful, war-mongering, supremacists who believe God can only ever be on THEIR side and they’re the true chosen people of God.

God though is not mocked, as you sow, so shall you reap. I hope your Zionist brethren treat your country well, oh what am I saying they’re bankrupting you. Haha.

  7. Tommy J Fishburne says:

Hmmm, we supply ALL of Isreal’s weapons? This is nonsense, they export weapons and systems all over the world. So what, Ron Paul thinks we own the Isreali factories and then let them keep the weapons they make, is this how we supply all their weapons?

US consigns 3,000 tonnes of “ammunition” to Israel

    January 10, 2009, 11:22 AM (GMT+02:00)

The US Navy’s Military Sealift Command is hiring a merchant ship to carry the arms on two separate journeys from the Greek port of Astakos to Israel in mid-to-late January, according to Reuters. A ‘hazardous material” designation on the manifest mentions explosive substances and detonators, but no other details. One broker said that the size of a shipment of this kind has not been seen for years. DEBKAfile’s military sources note that the Israel’s air, ground, tank and sea offensive against Hamas in Gaza entered its 15th day Saturday, Jan. 10.

These and the on-going daily killing and humiliation of Palestinians on their own lands!!! after countless efforts of Arabs, including the last proposal by King Abdullah of SA (accepted by Hammas btw), for peace, all we see is death by the Israelis

  10. Hope says:

I would not feel so all alone. Everybody must get stoned.

This government will collapse in unto itself, but fear not, out of the ashes, the misery, the ruin a stronger, more peaceful, more sufficient nation shall arise. Millions will perish at the feet of the just, and right before the end the hate will be replaced by necessity, and unlikely brothers will join in resolute harmony to make sure they’re children have a lifetime worth living. I am sad to see this will occur during the peak of my lifetime, but because my son will not have to see it’s hardships; this I am glad.

  11. Sean says:

We have an oil deficit of 12,420,000 barrels a day. Since we’ve been running out of oil, our trade deficit has been rising dramatically bankrupting us and the Federal Reserve had been raising the interest rates in fear of our addicting consumption drying up foreign wells as we have done here in America and across the world, so new money isn’t replacing our deficits. We are in a decline in growth and will never be the same as a country because of declining domestic oil reserves and near future oil reserves drying up across the world. Hope is lost.

  12. Whisperer says:

Well, its no more a hidden truth that US Dollar is abt to die along with US economy because Federal Reserve is refusing to allow more funds to finance the wars for jewish and christian zionists. Zionist State of Israel bombarded Iraq’s Nclear plant before US invasion, destroyed Syrian and bombarded Libyan nuclear facilities. Although they failed twice to bombard Pakistan Kahota Research lab but now they r actively uniting with US and Indian hinduc extremists to wage a war against Pakistan which happens to be a nuclear State. CIA has already been captured red-handedly by Pakistani intelligence agency with evidences supporting Baitullah Mehsud (Alqaeda terrorist) connection with CIA. Israeli commander in chief was recently seen visiting Kashmir. All signs pointing towards next Israel target state Pakistan. Because US Govt has been rejected any further funds from Federal Reserve, they r financing wars taking loans from Saudi Arab, Japan and China ( through bonds). Owing to forseeable civil riots in US in the years to come, Israel has been giving special training to soldiers to manage the American citizens in times of civil war.
America is undoubtedly a bankrupt economy and a bankrupt State suffering from “imperial overstretch” because it has geographically overstretched itself into many countries not for itself but for defense of Israel. Because Pakistan has almost become part of China-Russsia “SCO alliance”, this military adventure will most probably be the last occupation attempt of United America. US has no option but to take side with Zionist State because they r financially indebted to them so heavily that these bankers can collapse their economy in minutes. Israel has already earned quite a reputation worldwide by ludicrously declaring the democratically elected Govt of Palestine as terrorists. Having cut Palestinian supplies for months now started bombarding indiscriminately bypassing every UN resolution. But unfortunately, US is left with no option but to support zionist now and always even at the cost of themselves.

  13. w.d says:

Jews hate Hitler so much yet they’ve become just as destructive, disgusting, demeaning, and ruthlessly inhumane as him. I can only tell you that Hamas is the way it is because of all the years of the being oppressed. The Palestinians are fed up. Think of Action reaction. Israel oppresses Palestinians and they react by trying to protect themselves. I agree with Ron Paul Israel has weapons that the Palestinians don’t have. Yet Israel wants to act all “We want to protect our people” in the media because they want support. Support for what? For every Israeli that dies 1,000+ Palestinians die. As a Palestinian I am proud of Ron Paul for voicing his unbiased opinion about the occupation. I hope that this brings awareness to people that are ignorant, and for those that are ignorant I encourage you to thoroughly research Palestine and then comment on it because it’s only after you know our history that you will understand how Palestinians feel. Archeologist found bones belonging to Palestinian ancestors so this proves who was there first.

I urge everyone reading this to EDUCATE THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT FALL FOR AN ISRAELI BIAS BROADEN YOUR HORIZON

  14. Jules Manson says:

The good doctor Ron Paul is always consistent. I do not think that I have ever heard him contradict himself. And being neutral Israel (rather than pro-Israel anti-Gaza) is inline with everything he has preached about. He is the only outspoken critic of our government’s policies who does not have a political agenda. He couldn’t care less if he never served another term in congress as long as our government did a complete 180 on its self-destructive economic and imperialistic policies.

  15. RICH says:

You are incorrect. The Jews and the Arabs have both occupied the land for well over 4000 years. The Jews just were given an opportunity to return during the last century.

And where is your heart? Hamas, endorsed by Palistine has been responsible for numerous suicide bombing in Israeli cafes and pizza shops killing numerous innocent civilians and children. Where is your heart? Palistinians cheered about the more than 3000 innocent Americans that were killed on 9-11.

War is an ugly thing. But in examining this conflict, Israel’s hands clearly much more clean than Palistine. It is clear that Palistine does not want peace with Israel, Palistine, like many other Arab countries simply wants Israel to cease to exist.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahmoud_Ahmadinejad_and_Israel

    • Adam says:

Well actually Jews have been in the land for ~3500 years. “Arabs” or Muslims have only been in the land for the past ~1400 years or so since Islam didn’t exist until about 600CE. You are absolutely correct, Israel’s hands are certainly much cleaner. Also, Ron Paul has stated that he believes Israel would be better off without US support because they would no longer be handcuffed to American Policies.

  16. RICH says:

Scenario: The US decides to peacefully hand over a significant portion of Texas to Mexico forces those people who owned both homes and businesses to vacate those premises. Mexico decides that rather than peacefully settling into those properties that they are going to attack the US. How should we respond to this? Sit back and let Mexico launch bombs at us. How about giving them more land?

    Get the point?

Israel’s response has been tame as far as I’m concerned. I think a more appropriate response would have been “F you, we’re taking back Gaza!”

The rest of the Arab world didn’t give a damn about Palistine until the nation of Israel was established post WWII. They took no issue with the British occupation. The reason is that they do not want Israel to exist period! That is why when Israel gave up Gaza to Palistine, Palistine continued to attack.

It pisses me off that when Israel retaliates, they are called terrorists. It also pisses me off that when people like the Iranian President Ahmadinejad call for the complete destruction, the world ignores it, but when Israel defents itself, they are called terrorists.

Notice, the word God, or God’s chosen people have not appeared anywhere in my post, so please do not call me a religious whacko or anything to discredit my post. I simply think that something is not right when Israel is so villified and Palistine is so victimized. Palistine would have gained some credibility had they just moved into Gaza in peace and saw that as a reason to get along with Israel. Instead, they made their wishes clear, and therefore justified all Israels forcefull responses. Israel is fighting for its very survival against a bunch of ungreatful thugs who have shown that they will stop at nothing to see Israel completely destroyed.

I agree with Dr. Paul that the US should not intervene in this, but statements about preemptive attacks by Israel are just not correct.

    • Mone says:

Tame? are you out of your mind, over 700 people killed mostly civilians? don’t you have heart??

And that logic you put there about Texas means the Arabs has to kill all Jews since it has always been Arab land, the Jew invaded the country just after world war I… just little over 50 years ago!!!

  17. SSD says:

Tom: please list the aid and its form to the Palestinines vs. the one given to the Israelies, which at its top is the military aid!

James & D’obama Lama: as the leading nation, America has a Moral obligation to play as a REAL peace maker in the MedEast!
But if fear it will not be fair due to lobbies’ powers, then at least it must work to strengthen the UN not weaken it!!

  18. D'obama Lama says:

Paul is right on this issue. The nation of Israel is often hip deep in dirty deeds, both overt & COvert. Our nation has no business being involved in their regional / political / religious / cultural squabbles. We are however heavily involved, which only proves that the American gov’t is just as dastardly & underhanded, if not more so. Our gov’t uses Israel to do dirty work, just as Israel uses the US to gain supposed credibility. Meanwhile the reality is that there’s an almost continuous loss of life & criminality happening in the middle east. And the US/ Israeli agenda (like it or not) is just as culpable, & likely more culpable than the variety of so called terrorist organizaions. The difference is when they do bad things, they are rogue & evil, & when US / Israel does it’s patriotic & for freedom. Whichever side you ask, it’s always someone else’s fault.
Paul says we should leave them the hell alone. I agree, not because Ron Paul said it. But because he happens to be right.

  19. James says:

Why do we “own” land in the first place? Can we address that? Property has been digressing us all for thousands of years.

SSD I enjoy what you have posted.

I like Ron Paul, but I think he has some crazy religious nuts as followers? Is this true?
b/c as educated as you must be to respect and honor Dr. Paul’s thought process, you’d think you wouldn’t believe in prophets who were created to keep the masses in line! Please wake up for the sake of my children.

How about Israel just recognizes Palestine as a Nation and group of human beings and visa versa? How about that.

  20. Chuck says:

As an American, I wouldn’t mind leaving the Middle East (or MidEast as it’s being called today). Let’s let the religious brothers continue to slaughter each other until one side is dead. Than, we can lend money to the weakened winner at interest. Would that help with the American dept problem?

    • Bronzescorpion says:

That is funny. And I am so down with that idea. Israel has survived this long without constant help from America and throughout history, Biblically and otherwise, survived enormous and crazy obstacles. We should always have her back because she had ours from the beginning. But she will be ok without us being in every aspect of her life. We shouldn’t completely stop supporting her. But we shouldn’t be in every step of her walk either.

      • Chuck says:

Bronzescorpion Question: Did Israel have America’s back when they attacked the U.S.S. Liberty? Hmmm… would I be correct to say that you haven’t heard about it? 33 U.S. Soldiers dead, 171 severely injured… check it out if you don’t believe me:

I also find it funny that everyone criticizes the US for there support for Israel, but hardly anybody criticizes the Arabs, Iran or even Russia for their part in this whole middle east mess.

And by the way the US gives plenty of aid the the palistinans as well as many other arab nations. We dont just support Israel.

      • Mone says:

It is not a normal war, they are destroying innocent people’s houses KNOWINGLY… They make holes in your house and go in with several people knowing in advance they are innocent.

IT is a policy of aggravating people to the point where they make some kind of offense then they start wiping them out.

just like they are doing in Gaza, put a siege deprive them of as much means to live, then when they do anything kill as much of them as possible…

Currently in Gaza over 500 people dead, thousands are injured, over 90% are civilians.. and on top of it the doctors re not allowed in, here is a German doctor describing the situation,

That’s right. America gives billions of dollars to Muslim countries (I am not sure for what) on top of the oil we purchase from them. So we are basically staddling the fence. We need to let these 2 ancient brothers (Jacob and Esau) handle it themselves. Stop babying everybody and take care of our own. Check out American history in the 1920’s. We weren’t supporting anybody but ourselves. We were exporting more than we imported (not true of today). There was no welfare system. Jobs were strong because we were not outsourcing for cheap labor, etc. It was truly the ‘roaring twenties’! Let’s repeat that history.

  22. SSD says:

It is a very dangerous situation in both the short term and the long term….Get this straight Americans! your country’s support to Isreal does not serve your interests, doest not add to your credibility, does not add to you moral high grounds!…Isreal is a terroist state created by Briton and since then supported by the U.S and world Jewrey and other brain washed sympothisers! Americans: if you are after a just peace; then ask yourseves only two qustions: Who occupies the lands of whom? Who contiues to break United Nations’ resolutions? in those two qustions, you will find your answer…….

  23. American says:

    Good point cmascarenas!

  24. cmascarenas says:

Everyone here is getting all bend out of shape when it comes to the Israel/Palestinian conflict and throwing out half-truths and misconceptions about who the Israelites are and who the Palestinians are. Let’s keep things in perspective. Remember this conflict has been going on for thousands of years and this isn’t something new and yes I support Israel morally but I am against disproportion response by the Israelis military but I also believe they have a right to defend themselves against terrorism and this is terrorism don’t be fooled. And occupiers come on they have more rights to palestine them anyone else in the world keep things in perspective Israel is the size of Connecticut and Iran, Eygpt, Iraq, and Sandi Arabia are much bigger then Texas each one of them. Besides remember the Palestinians were kick out of Jordan and they don’t want them in Lebanon either. But the Palestinians have always been used by other countries as political fodder never truly given sanctuary like they really need. I believe the true palestinians want a country of there owe and to live in peace and prosperity. But these terrorist organizations don’t want them to have a chance for their children grow up free and devoid of hate and prejudice. Given half the chance I believe they could control there destinies and have all the benefits of a thriving society. We can not make this a reality until both parties demostrate some restrain the terrorist giving up the ambitions of destroying Israel and Israel’s desire to assist the Palestinians to progress to a free and prosperous people. God willing this may happen!

  25. Rodriguez in Texas says:

Three years ago Israel gave up Gaza and no one even flinched that it evacuated it’s own citizens to give the prize land in the Gaza to the Palestinians. Israel forced it’s own people to forfeit their homes, businesses, greenhouses, schools, parks, public facilities and places of worship, much of which had built by their own hands–all for the sake of “peace”. (Well, there’s the ultimate dream of every entitlement supporter!) The Palestinians could have simply settled peacefully into well developed communities, taken over profitable businesses and beautiful dwellings. But instead, they simply destroyed everything! They tore it all down to rubble. The Palestinians COULD have chosen to live in fully-furnished, beautiful dwellings, while the former owners lived in hotels and tent cities. Their children could have played with endless toys left behind by the Israeli children who now had nothing. The could have grow vegetables in well-established greenhouses to provide for their own nourishment and to export for income. But instead of being grateful and proving their blameless character and self-determination to the world, they chose, rather, to destroy EVERYTHING! (http://www.israeltoday.co.il/Portals/0/102005nevedekalimbeforeafter.jpg, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6w_71VZGh6M

These are the same people who cheered in the street after 9/11, remember??? And regardless of your opinion regarding 9/11, THEY STILL CHEERED!! I am constantly surprised at how RP supporters are avidly anti-MSM, but when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, they believe everything the MSM tell them! Occassionally you hear a token comment on the news about Israel’s invasion of Gaza being retaliatory, but mostly the MSM likes to pass the Palestinians the victim card, and the Palestinians like to play it!

I’m actually surprised and very disappointed at Dr. Paul’s response. I agree with his monetary and foreign policy and how they are intricately intertwined, but to accuse Israel of “pre-emptive war” is absurd. Over 6500 rockets have landed on Israel since they gave up their beautiful land and their “invasion” of Gaza is “pre-emptive”? How many rockets need to fall on Israel before an organized strike is considered “self-defense”? I think Israel has shown a remarkable amount of restraint! I would hope the US wouldn’t wait as long to defend herself.

Do I think Israel is perfect? Absolutely not! Do I think there is corruption in its midst? Well, humans live there, and everywhere humans go, corruption follows. But I don’t hate being a human and I don’t hate human kind because of there are evil people in the world. NOW DON’T GET ME WRONG…I don’t hate Palestinians, either. There are different kinds of Palestinians, just as there are different kinds of ANY nationality or ethnicity. There are Palestinians who possess character and are peaceful, gracious and benevolent. Millions of them live in Jordan and if you visit there, they will go out of their way to bless you! But there are also those who lack character, love conflict and thrive on hate. They live in Lebanon and caused civil war there after creating the PLO. They live in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank. They will never be happy. And when you get down to it, it really is not about the Jews. Even if the Jews were completely destroyed, they would still be unhappy and just turn their hatred toward another people. There are always exceptions, but for the most part, that’s just who they are.

So people need to quit the anti-semitism. They need to get it out of their head that all Jews are bad just like much of the world needs to get it out of their head that all Americans are bad, Christians need to get it out of their head that all Muslims are bad, whites need to get it out of their head that all blacks are bad and blacks need to get it out of their head that all whites are bad.

Open your mind to an alternative view of the conflict.

      Thankfully, some sense here!
For the first time since I have heard Ron Paul’s name I must disagree with him. He must have been misinformed, there can be no other way. Preemptive? How could Israel possibly accept 6500 rockets aimed at their civilians without taking action? It is amazing that they have waited so long!
But still, our government shouldn’t have anything to do with it, so I still agree with Ron Paul, and would have been delighted to have him in the presidency, regardless of disagreements.

    • Bronzescorpion says:

You go Rodriguez. That is the most honest, open-minded comment I have read thus far. It is eloquent, educated and well thought out. People should personally educate themselves on ALL aspects of a disagreement before being allowed to make a comment or take sides. So many ppl don’t realize how/where the “fire” started, yet they are quick to take sides when they turn on the biased, pre -paid news. It seems you have done some studying of both sides of the issue. It gives me hope that there are still a few intelligent ppl out there.

  26. Al says:

If isre al is ‘exercising its right to self defence’… with ‘30 jews injured’ by killing thousand of Arabs (remember the whole peninsula is the ‘ARAB Pen./Arabia’) — then why do the same hypocrites condemn 1939 Germany for attacking Poland after it’s je wish leaders (Smidgley et al) murdered over 100 000 ethnic Germans, & 30 000 extra ones, in 2 massacres (Broomberg Massacre & Danzig Massacre)?

Is not the ‘rocket attacks’ merely ’self defence’ by an occupied land (Palastine ‘occupied’ by ‘je wish settlements/settlers’)?

    ——–
point 2 – Mr Kellar/cellar – if you both to read the Bible (Christian or ‘hebrew’) – you would know that je wish people lost their place as ‘the choosen ones’ (remember – that is coming from the people that made the stories up about themselves – so ’self confession’?) That’s a bit Catholic, isn’t it?). I know that many just rely on the words of the likes of ‘zion ist’ Christian prechers on TV… but God Banned je wish people from owning any land what-so-ever… they were made to ‘wander’ other people’s lands – as long as they were welcomed (such as Canaan) – relying on donations to live…

this was punishment for many bad deeds.

Isreal winning ‘the wars against them’ was not by Israel – unless you claim ‘by the hand of God’… in which case France Britain and the USA must be God… or French, British and Yankees/Confederates.

One war = over the Sueze Canal… Brit and France = saviours… and USA in the Yom Kippur War, etc.

Do you even know what Yom Kippur means/is? = ‘everything I say is BS’ – all oaths, words, contracts. It used to be ‘everthing I said in the past… but was changed to in the future…

Kissinger (a jew, just like Roosevelts, Eisenhauer, etc, etc, etc, gave assurances to israel ‘don’t attack until next week… you will have our full support of course… (etc).’ Kissinger also told Saddam H that he could take back Kuwait without the world going to war… that Kuwait is indeed Iraq, etc. (which only just declared itself independant of Iraq a few years previous) – as a trick, of course.

look up ‘Lindsey Williams’ and ‘economic hitmen’ BTW. even on you tube.

And how was such saviour actions rewarded by israel? USS Liberty, the Lavon Affair, Libya, King David Hotel, Irgund… I guess that must be the equivalent of Babel???

    P. S. Modern ‘je wish’ people are not really that at all… they are converts from an empire called Khazaria… Mongol hoard that tried taking over Europe… was stopped in Southern Russia between mountains and a couple of seas (one names in the empires honour – the Khazar/Caspian Sea) and started interbreeding with local white people… the empire converted en masse and was around about 1000 years ago – look it up. The ones in the know call themselves ‘the 13th tribe’ and some have even spoke out and published a books in English about it (which is forbidden to give away ‘trade secrets’ – punishable by capital means… (look up in the talmud – where ‘jesus’ was renamed to Baleem after some published copies in English (look up encyclopedia judiaca / jewish encyclopedia- and to what je wish accounts of what they did with glee to jesus)? I challange you to do this.

Look up ‘the thirteenth tribe’ and download a copy for free – listen to Benjamin Freeman…

American – why would the EU (with a majority of leaders – the true leaders being unelected there – the ‘commissioners’ being je wish and / or communist/”socialists” (look it up) be against Is re al? Why the opinions of the citizens matter is that ‘representatives’ are ‘(s)elected’ – ment to be the ‘voice OF the people’… not ‘dic(hed)tators’ that are ‘the voice TO the people’. The India Figures seem out… if there were only 3 options… with each around 20% = 60%…

Hmmm the ultimate ‘rock paper scissors’… maybe called ‘rock (vs) nuke, tank’?

Mr. Al, I ain’t no catholic or Jew…but I do know the Bible and what it says about the end times. All I am saying is the Jews are right where God wants them, where he originally put them. Everyone one else wants them out, but God.

If it had not been for the Kaiser and the bad treaty after WWI, then there would be no Hitler. If it Wasn’t for Hitler and the final solution, there would have been no UN resolution creating the new Jewish country…etc. etc. God has orchastrated his final judgement on man kind….maybe as good an American as Ron Paul is, this is why he isn’t President, or is it because all the Suedo Ron Paul supporters I know voted for Obamanation instead of write him in the Ballot.

God has it all worked out, not you or me or Ron Paul. I vote for Ron Paul (write in) and I vote for Israel.

  27. J Schiff says:

I have only one hands-on experience based point of view to throw out there for yall.

For years now our appointed leaders have cried out loudly against genocide in Afirica, Bosnia and Iraq. Right?

Then, our appointed D.C. puppets instituted “pre-emptive” war, torture and the eviceration of our Bill of Rights. Right?

Now… our self proclaimed “experts” (including Obama) publicly support their parasitic bretheren in Israel (Israel offers us NOTHING in return for our money and weapons)as we watch Israel invade an impoverished people with US weapons of “massive” destruction. The Israelies claim the people of Gaza are “low-life” criminals living in the slum – which ironicly Israel created. (echos of the treatment the Jews received from Germany during the Hitler era- but now it’s O.K.??).

I guess that since our self-serving representatives of the elite and the sheepeople who are coralled by the media have accepted a police state, the erradication of our rights, the bankrupting of our nation, the acts of undeclared invasions, torture, and now they seem to all support genocide. Oh I am sorry, I mean “defending them selves”. Isn’t it interesting how when we support the mass killing of a people and the destruction of a countries infrastucture it’s justified and when another country (other than Israel) does it we call them murders, and demonize the purps in the media, which preceeds the invasion of sovereign countries, the institution of sanctions, and/or the sending in of the CIA lynch mobs (Al Qaeda) to terminate their threat and blame it on “others”. In Arabic “Al Qaeda” means “base”

I am appalled over this first global crime of 2009 and I am embarassed to have family living in Israel who are involved.
The US should publicly condem such genocide and the “over-use” of strong arm weapons against a lesser foe. Sanction Israel and cut them off from the 100’s of Billions of of taxpayer dollars and gold that we “donate” to them anually thanks to our “Mis-Representatives” in Washington who funnel taxpayer earnings into Israel’s coffers for NOTHING in return. Israel is a BLACK HOLE.
Our elected officials are warned to never ever say anything against Israel…isn’t that an odd warning?
It is fact that Israel is a WELFARE STATE that consumes and exports NOTHING of value to the people of the US or the world. They have no value to us as an ally (they avoid participation in any fights except their own),Israel has no value as a trade partner and no value to our local economies. If Israel disapeared off the map the major majority of us would not notice…ever.
Now, with our US citizens facing economic genocide, the cash flow pipeline from our pockets to Israel NEEDS to be cut off imediately. It will not hurt the good citizens of the US whatsoever, it will actually save us mega billions of dollars that can be used to paydown our national debt and bring the troops home. Don’t print new fiat money to save our economy…cut unecessary and wasteful spending. It appears that the trend in Washington is to forget that the American citizen is TOO BIG TO FAIL.
P.O.V. Cut the foreign welfare and US support of genocide, stand up for America, defend and uphold the Constitution, and stop the LIEING.
In other words… Be an American.

  28. Al Cashion says:

Couldn’t agree more. However, I don’t understand what Dr. Paul suggests Israel do with incoming mortor and rocket fire. What SHOULD Israel’s responce be. They can’t do nothing.

  29. Matt says:

The Palestinians shot 4 rockets into an Israeli farm killing NOONE. Keep in mind Israel was building settlements in the Palestinian land not long before the rocket attacks. The Israelis have killed over 415 people now in their air strikes and attacks on Gaza and West Bank(This does not include the Palestinians who may have died in any settlement activity within the Palestinian land) for those 4 rockets. In response to the the Israeli air strikes and attack on Gaza more rockets have been shot into Israel killing a total of 4 Israelis. So we have a death count of 415+ to 4. The Palestinians dont have a chance in hell because of the weapons WE gave Israel. Not to mention Israel constantly has Lebanon under occupation along with the Palestinian lands. If one looked into the history of Israel they would also note that Israel funded Hamas in hopes they would overthrow the Palestinian Authority(A leadership that was elected to power by the Palestinian people). Hamas is now a thorn in Israel’s side. I suggest everyone watch Ron Paul’s video commenting on Gaza. I also would like to add Americans were not called “Terrorists” when we attacked the British homes in their settlements here in America. Americans were not called “Terrorists” when we hid and shot at British forces occupying our land. I also would like to add civilians were killed by US when we attacked several British settlements. Our biased media does not report what is really going on in the Palestinian lands and it is NOT RIGHT. I think Israel has the right to exist but youd think theyd learn from our(USA) mistakes in regards to Iraq. This cannot be good for the Israeli economy. In conclusion, I believe the American people were right to fight the British occupation and I believe the Palestinians feel the same way(we did) when fighting against the Israeli occupation.

    • Mone says:

you are right… I wonder when the biased media in the states would change only fraction to reflect more of what is happening in the real world

      • Terry says:

They’re not. The reason being goes far beyond simple bias. The Jews own and operate much of the media around the world, especially here in the Western World. We here in America will NEVER get the truth from the media. The Jews will ALWAYS be portrayed as the victims in ANYTHING. Whereas anyone who doesn’t support Israel is portrayed as a bad guy. And THIS is why I rely on alternative news sources for my news.

  30. Dave Makkar says:

Gaza Attacked to divert attention from Israeli Terrorists induced World Economic Meltdown

Israeli Bankers have stolen trillions primarily from US as well as World banking system in recent years and majority of the money has gone to three Israeli Banks; Happolim group, Bank Leumi group & Discount Bank group. Israeli have strict secrecy laws for it’s Banking and more over Israel never extradite Jews not even to America even if they are American citizens.

Israeli’s have stolen trillions thru their con schemes of Debt derivatives and futures trading to put world economy in toilet to finance their 42 years long illegal occupation of Palestine . Recently US Fed arrested a Jew Bernard Madoff on Dec. 10, 2008 over alleged $50 Billion Banking Fraud; which is the biggest in American history by an individual. Surprisingly Madoff has been stealing for more than 10 years under the knowledge of Israeli controlled Securities & Exchange Commission of America.

Madoff told the US Attorney Lev Dassin that his business has been insolvent for years! Prosecutors have charged Madoff with single count of Securities Fraud. They said he faces up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million. What a surprise, a Jew steals $50 billion and maximum he would get is 5 years and $5 million in fines? A colored guy steals $1000.00 by showing a gun gets more time for that.

Muslim Haters should know, there was no conflict in Palestine for centuries; till 1850 there was 80% Muslims, 15% Christians & 5% Jews living in harmony. In late 1800s a European Zionist group decided to colonize this Land to create a Jewish Homeland & stared settling in Palestine. In 1947 UNO under pressure of US Jews dishonestly decided to give 55% of Palestine to Jews despite the fact this group represented only 30% of total population & owned less than 7% of Land. A war broke out between Jewish Forces with US & European money consisting 90,000 European trained soldiers with most modern weaponry & 30,000 ill-equipped, improvised, poorly trained men representing Arab Forces. Entire civilized world watch this one sided no contest war with a known outcome. By the end of 1948 war Jewish state “ Israel ” was created on 78% Palestine conquered Land. In 1967 Israel launched a surprise war lasting 6 days & occupied remaining 22% of Palestine that had eluded it in 1948; the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Again the whole world is watching Israel attacking Gaza who has not been allowed any aid let alone weapons. Israelis have attacked at this juncture knowingly that Hamas has no weapons to retaliate. They are fighting with people whose best weapons are few AK-47’s and short-range rockets that cannot go more than 12 Miles. Israel has all the latest technology, weapons, aircrafts & US Military support and above all trillions stolen from world banking.

The entire world is reeling under economic melt down before they start pointing fingers towards Israeli Terrorists for stealing trillions of dollars; Israel has attacked Gaza to divert the world attention from this Israeli induced Economic Melt Down.

    Dave Makkar

P.S. I refused to call Jews or any one American when they can serve in the Army of a foreign country and can vote in elections of a foreign Country. In the case of Jews while holding American Citizenship they can serve in Israeli Army like President Elect Obama’s Chief of White House Staff Rahm Emanuel and can vote in Israeli elections. It is a debatable issue how one can trust such a privileged class of Jews with divided loyalties who is hostage to its own morally & ethically corrupt as well as racist Leadership of Israel in any country? But they are acceptable in their colony AMERICA.

    • John Beasley says:

Aren’t you afraid you will be called a Nazi and that the Jewish Anti-definition league will begin hounding you?

To your point, The Jewish people were great supporters of Social Darwinism because it supported their idea that they were God’s Chosen people, thus the Zionists moved back to Israel to setup the Master Race. Then the Germans turned the whole game against them in the 1930’s and 1940’s.

Anyway, the point of Ron Paul’s website is that American’s need to support the best interest of the American people. As well as slamming the Jews you could as well slam corporate America that treats the American people as sheep to be used and manipulated. Sure some of corporate America are Jewish, but just as many are just pigs. What of Cocoa Cola, they do everything they can to make the world safe for Cocoa Cola sales, even to the point of destroying Christianity and American society.

      • Dave Makkar says:

Dear Mr. Beasley, the answer to your questions is I am not afraid of any one including Jewish Defamation League when I am speaking truth. I am only afraid of God and his teachings that Truth Prevails and to accept any kind of injustice is disrespect to God and reflect cowardliness on the part of the person who is accepting injustice. God is the Creator and God is the Creation that we all are blessed and whatever God you choose he is that God and Dharma, Righteousness or Good Conduct is his will. Then how does it matters what idol they worship or what image they bow to or they do not worship any God as long as their conduct remains pure. It is the conduct then, theirs and ours that need to be to be purified.

I am the resident of world’s most corrupt & racist state New Jersey under Israeli rulers. This state is legally corrupt & racist. For writing & saying that I have been subjected to Fire Works at odd hours at my property, damage to my property, threatening e-mails, letters, phone calls, denial of justice, frequent audit of my business in 375 sq feet some time lasting months and when nothing worked State Police interrogated me on the complaint of my Town’s Israeli police that I am planning a Terrorist act to do something against the DMV of the town.

New Jersey is the perfect example for how the corruption and racism has been legalized by Israeli rulers in USA. Under this Organized Leadership representing 4% Jewish population, NJ is world’s most corrupt & racist state. This state in 8,000 sq miles has more than 1 Elected Politician & 50 Employees per Square Miles (over 9,000 Elected Scoundrels & 400,000 Employees with little or no work) for 8.5 Million residents under 588 Gangs (governments) in 566 Racially segregated Princely Estates (towns) with a budget of $74 billion and deficit of $140 billion including un-funded liabilities like state pension, healthcare and transport fund. New Jersey is legally corrupt & legally racially segregated under the Jewish/Israeli Rulers & their cronies despite having 80,000 Licensed Attorneys in the state; again which is highest in the world like 10 attorneys per sq miles. This state with highest Property Taxes $7,500.00 & highest cost $19,000.00 to educate a student in the nation also takes pride in its 250,000 students who cannot read and write. In Racism this state has set new record under Jewish Rulers. The Police Union under a Jew President called the entire Indian community, “cockroaches, animals, illiterates and illegal go home in the presence of print & TV Media in Aug 2006. It is an irony no Indian Leader in America or India or any part of the world; worth the name protested to these worst ever called Racial Slurs for a minority community in the 200 years history of America

Here is a wonderful quote from that Jewish Nobel Peace Prize winner Menachem Begin who is a disgrace to Nobel Peace Prize:

“Our race is the Master Race. We are divine Gods on this planet. We are different from the inferior races as they are insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our kingdom will be ruled by our Leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve as our slaves.”
7,800 Jews/Israeli Leaders control America representing the 2% Jew population of USA. They control Judiciary, big law firms besides Media, Hollywood, Banking, Real Estate and Politics of America. US Congress is under full control of 45 Israeli’s 32 Representatives and 13 Senators. Every American politicians including President elect Obama can drop their pants and skirts when they see an Israeli/Jew before any one can blink their eyes. When they open up their mouth they talk about Jews and Israel only. Jew Leaders have made America another Israeli colony after Palestine.

Well these corrupt & racist Israeli loyalists are acceptable to American Public and for the last 5 years I am looking for an answer why they are acceptable to them? Every day I pray to God please tell my fellow Americans to wake up; we must take control of our country from Israelis.

I strongly agree. I find it ironic, let alone disturbing, that it is so often assumed that Israel cannot take care of itself. Palestine only possesses a few nuclear weapons, a trivial amount compared to the 750 nuclear weapons that Israel has at its disposal.

It’s no suprise that Americans prefer that we be neutral in the Isreal-Palestian conflict. It’s also no suprise that our representatives, diplomats and others we trust to run our affairs choose to ignore us. When Americans were overwhelmingly against the AIG and other bailouts, they went ahead and did it anyway. I don’t agree with everything the Ron Paul says, but I do trust that he would work hard towards the things that he supports. If we could only get more people in office that represent the true wishes of the people. Down sizing the federal government and re-focusing and limiting them on the Constitutional duties is also needed.

  33. American says:

Taking Sides in the Palestinian-Israeli Conflicts: Most Say Don’t Do It

A fascinating new poll by the University of Maryland’s WorldPublicOpinion.org. The question asked of 18,792 respondents in 18 countries, the United States included, was this: In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, do you think your country should take Israel’s side, the Palestinians’ side, or side with neither?
In 14 countries, the response was on the whole overwhelmingly for staying neutral. In the United States, for example, 71% of respondents favor staying neutral, as opposed to 21% favoring taking Israel’s side and just 3% favoring taking the Palestinians’ side. Curiously, the United States did not produce the largest proportion of those calling for siding with Israel. India did. There, 24% would side with Israel, but 23% would side with the Palestinians, and just 22% would stay neutral. IOndia’s case is the only one among the 18 countries where the breakdown is so even across all three categories.

In every western or non-Middle Eastern country, the overwhelming majority of respondents favor staying neutral: 79% in Great Britain and France, 82% in South Korea, 74% in China. The stereotypical notion that Europeans are automatically more pro-Palestinian is upended by the results. Just 6% of French, 8% of Britons and 12% of Spaniards would have their government side with the Palestinians.

Not surprisingly, public opinion in countries of the Middle East reverses the tale. In Turkey, Iran and Egypt, neutrality is in the minority while taking the Palestinians’ side has much support: 42% in Turkey, 63% in Iran, 86% in Egypt.

The world average? 58% want neutrality, 20% would take the Palestinians’ side, 7% would take Israel’s side.

Why is this relevant? In the United States, it’s quite relevant for two reasons: American engagement in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has not been very successful, but it’s been almost constant since the 1970s. And it’s been American policy to take Israel’s side since the days of Henry Kissinger. That may be why American involvement hasn’t been as successful as it might, or should have been, considering the investment. Palestinians have known all along what Aaron David Miller, the ex-State Department analyst, Middle East specialist and adviser to six secretaries of state over two decades, revealed in The Much Too Promised Land, his recent account of his experiences: In the 1990s, he writes,

We had made a decision to lay out American ideas on the extent of Israel’s further redeployment from the West Bank as well as on security performance for Palestinians, and as usual we felt obliged to run our ideas by Israel first. This ‘no surprise’ understanding actually went back to Kissinger, and even [James] Baker had abided by it.
It didn’t stop there. “Dennis, like myself,” Miller adds of Dennis Ross, the head of policy planning in the State Department during the first Bush administration and the Clinton administrations, “had an inherent tendency to see the world of Arab-Israeli politics first from Israel’s vantage point rather than from that of the Palestinians.” Speaking of actual negotiating sessions he was familiar with, Miller notes: “In truth, not a single senior-level official involved with the negotiations was willing or able to present, let alone fight for, the Arab or Palestinian perspective.”
Arabs and Palestinians are immensely to blame for many failures in the Palestinian-Israeli peace process–Arabs for their hypocrisy and their abject treatment of Palestinian refugees or workers in Arab lands, the Palestinian leadership of Yasser Arafat and his Fatah organization for their corruption and lack of imagination, and now the Palestinian pseudo-leadership of Hamas and its brutal, Islamist agenda that buys Palestinians’ allegiance with a mixture of demagoguery, fearmongering and social services.

But the blame is nowhere near one-sided. Israel’s policy of building more settlements in Occupied Territories, its disproportionate use of force against Palestinians, most of whose victims are civilian, its stranglehold on Gaza and the West Bank, and its generally dehumanizing treatment of Palestinians all creates its own dynamic of mutual hatreds.

The American role could have broken the deadlock. Instead, by outwardly and sometimes blatantly siding with Israel, American diplomacy arrived at the table with trust already lost as far as Palestinians are concerned. That hasn’t changed. What’s revealing about the World Public Opinion poll is that it suggests a rather significant disconnect between official American policy and American public opinion. The American public wants more neutrality. It realizes what the rest of the world generally does as well: neutrality for a mediator is the only way to win trust from both sides, especially in the Middle East. The battle isn’t lost. But if the United States aims to remain a player in Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, there’s no victory in sight–unless the United States abandons its bias for Israel in favor of the only bias that can broker breakthroughs in that region: a bias for neutrality.

  34. Jeff keler says:

I am a Ron Paul supporter when he speaks about he economy, abortion, guns, taxes, drugs, etc., but when he speaks about Israel I draw the line. Israel will be the focus of the World in the not to distant future, the talk of the town. How can such a small country make such big waves? When Israel does anything it becomes the talk of the town (world). Is it because it is God’s choosen people. Why did Israel even become a country? Why have they won every war with over whelming odds? They have been attacked by the Arab world (off the top of my head) I think 5 times, why not take the initiative? God is now protecting Israel and the Bible is clear about who and what will be the talk of the town. One billion+ arabs or better yet, muslims; against a few million Israelis,or better yet, Jews? Even Dr Paul can appreciate their position in this world. America and anyone else that supports Israel will only get the blame by association… Go Israel!

Wow, I hope you’re being sarcastic because every word of your response is ludicrous. But I guess this is the kind of crazy that flocks to Ron Paul

    • Ya says:

      I agree. Go Israel!

      • Mone says:

What? they occupy a country that is not there and you encourage that? if you get a bully in your house and he steals it and kills your family but just because he has the power you would praise him? this is wrong in all religions. God chosen people? c’mon chosen to kill civilians, and make thousands homeless? this satanic not god’s.
And.. the news is against Israel,? c’mon man, you are watching too much CNN, this is not the news, go watch the real news of what is really happening and you will change your mind in an instant..http://www.youtube.com/watch?aq=f&emb=0&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.google.ca%2Fvideosearch%3Fq%3Dgaza&v=gZaG96pnnEQ

What is happening there, they are dropping a whole building when they suspect someone from the militia is there? imagine someone hides in your house and they blow it all up, all your family is dead and you survive only to loose couple of limps!! this is more like what is happening there..
the God you are talking about, can’t be supporting these massacres

to defend your country is one thing and to commit atrocities is another, these Palestinians were under siege bye the Israelis for over a year…
even Israelis themselves are grouping against their own military, watch this

    • Walt says:

In the Bible is clear about our support of Israel, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”. One of the reasons our great country is still going despite the massive problems is our support for Israel. I hope the coming administration will do the same……….although it is very doubtful.

      • Mone says:

Your God is supporting you because you support these Israelis…??
Do you now, close to 1000 people are dead, over triple that injured mostly civilians!!
Did you see the pictures of small kids?
Do you the Zionism regime is one of the most brutal ever in the history of man kind?
Maybe CNN doesn’t show much, you should browse the internet and check it out yourself..there are tons and the truth is becoming known more every day

  35. John C. Randolph says:

Dr. Paul is correct that the United States should be neutral in the Arab-Israeli war, but he is incorrect to characterize Israel’s current operation in Gaza as pre-emptive. Israel has been under rocket attacks from Gaza ever since they left the territory, and the frequency and range of the rockets has increased greatly since Hamas took over Gaza. Israel is exercising their right to defend themselves, and they should reject any pressure from the United States to pull their punches once again.

  36. JesusFish says:

Mr. Paul is such a fan of the free market and religion, I’m surprised he didn”t suggest selling off the Middle East to the Jesus Corporation as a solution for the conflict in Gaza.

Religion and the market economy never cause problems! No siree! It’s always the government’s fault.
