Friendship And Commerce With All Nations

In his latest column Ron Paul emphasizes the need for the US to stop meddling in the affairs of other nations, to bring our troops home and to get our economy back into the business of production, not destruction. — tmartin

Opportunities for Peace and Nonintervention

by Ron Paul

Last week I discussed our worsening economic situation and the fact that there are very few options for the new administration to improve things in the long run. The same is not true on the foreign policy front. Our interventionist foreign policy stands ready to be put on a new course with the new administration. Unfortunately, it seems the new administration is likely to continue the mistakes of the past. I’ve often discussed interventionist foreign policy and the resulting blowback. The current administration’s foreign policy, I’m afraid, has created a huge impetus for blowback against the United States. However, I truly believe much of the world stands ready to look beyond our nation’s recent blunders if the new administration proves to be heading in a more reasonable direction.

Other nations around the world find our interference in their affairs condescending, and it is very dangerous for us. We may think we have much to gain by inserting ourselves in these complex situations, but on the contrary we suffer from many consequences. Other countries have their problems, to be sure. But how would we feel if China or Russia came to our soil and tried to depose our problematic leaders or correct our policies for us? Our problems are ours to solve, and we need to give other countries that respect as well. Instead, we have been turning alleged, phantom threats into real, actual threats.

We should follow the foreign policy advice of the Founders – friendship and commerce with all nations. One positive step would be to end our destructive embargo of Cuba, which deprives our farmers of a market just 90 miles from US shores while strengthening the Communist regime. We’ve seen 50 years of statist restrictions not accomplish anything. A change is needed. Other countries should decide how to govern themselves. Even if we don’t necessarily approve, it’s none of our business. If other people foolishly choose to live under statist experimental regimes, they need to fail in their own right, and not have us as a scapegoat. We need to focus on our own affairs.

However, the pressures exerted on our leadership from the military industrial complex and big business is not in favor of peace or freedom, or especially nonintervention. Intervention is big business. Defense contracts topped $300 billion last year, and total spending on war and our overseas empire is up to $1 trillion per year. That represents a lot of people earning a living off of war and conquest. But rather than adding to our economy, all of this money is taken from the economy in order to wage war and destruction. Imagine if those resources were put to creative, productive use here at home!

We need to rein in our overseas empire, as quickly as possible. We need to bring our troops home, and get our economy back into the business of production, not destruction. The smartest thing we could do is admit we don’t know all the answers to all the world’s problems. If the new administration can take a closer look at real free trade and no entangling alliances, we would be much better off for it. Economically – we could save hundreds of billions of dollars each year! The new leadership has the opportunity and the political capital to do this. But unfortunately, it is not likely to happen.

Nate & fluidly unsure: I believe we are on the same page in reference to WW2 finance & labor ,Deficite spending ,Thanks for the responce… Now, we find ourselves in a situation where deficit spending will be on top of deficit spending ,compounding the bad financial markets…Not good..The retirement age has arrived…WE are done investing in profit ventures as an age group & the leaders are not prepared…

  2. Fluidly Unsure says:

I believe there was a significant increase in the demand for labor caused by massive military contracts paid for by deficit spending. Some say this masked the effects of the Depression in America, others say it got us out. One way or another it had a tremendous effect on the working public.

The idea that it got us out sounds more plausible to me than the New Deal bailing us out. I have yet to hear a reasonable third option.

    • Nate says:

The third option you’re looking for is simply that getting out is an eventuality. It was neither the New Deal nor the War that got us out.

Also, as long as humans want/need something, there is always a demand for labor. The best way to allocate labor and set the prices for it is the free market. A very wasteful and inefficient way to do so is through government interventions like wars and New Deals.

Yes it’s much easier to perceive the demand that was brought on by the war because the demand for labor that would have existed in other areas was redirected to the war effort.

We would have gotten out quicker if the government had stayed out of the way.

Indeed, if it was WWII that got us out of the Great Depression, the solution to busts is quite simple. Start a World War (and make sure you win).

  3. nobody says:

Nate; Please reread my comments, you took the wrong outlook from my words… It was what happened the years following WW2 that paid for our profiteering not WW2 in & of itself…Babyboom , needs & wants ..Developement, society in progression…We have not planned very well for society going into retirement & slowing of needs & wants …The population booom is over.. WE have abortion now…The babyboomers’ needs & wants have changed & they are for the most part satisfied…They are only looking to get un-earned income with which to last out their lifetime…This is the REAL crisis….Too much monie in the hands of babyboomers who nolonger are able to produce…Alas the monies have been stollen from them NOW ,but there is no one to take up the investment monies to give them back un-earned income….Retirement looks dimm to nill for us at the low end of the past economy….

    • Nate says:

I didn’t take the wrong outlook from your words. I said i didn’t think you thought WWII was what got us out of the Great Depression and you have now confirmed my thoughts with “not WW2 in & of itself”. I was not concerning myself with the boom that took place after.

In any case, my confusion was originally with fluidly unsures post (which is why i replied to it).

  4. nobody says:

Today we pay for yesterday ,as long as there is National Debt…You not only pay for yesterday but also pay todays interest$$..You are not just paying a bailout today, the compound interest $$ goes into National Debt also…WASTE, WASTE, WASTE…The World fianciers LOVE the U.S.A.

    • Nate says:

After reading your posts, I’m concluding you don’t think WWII was what got us out of the Great Depression. If so, then we have nothing more to talk about on that topic.

  5. nobody says:

Well Nate; WW2 cost monies to finance ..Yes there is prosperity in war time, for those who finance..Those of us that earn our living while war is going on MUST eventualy pay the financiers back by way of taxes & National debt…SO you essentially end up paying the wages you earned during the war back to the financiers in the form of National debt…War does make work which causes profit for those who finance….You get a job that defers your wage to a later date after the war…You pay…Taxes, taxes that are sucked off of profits after the war, like during the 50’s & 60’s….

  6. nobody says:

Nate: I was replying to your confussion on WW2 prosperity.

  7. nobody says:

Nate:Income & profit can only come from someone’s labor…Yes the Worlds standard measure of wealth, in DOLLARS, is found in 1% of the population ..The rest of us provide their maintanance comfort, subsistance & profit…That 1% need only to provide the financing of us, to their benifit & increase…Your wealth is in youth, strength & time, & your existance creates a “need” that must be met , which is all to that 1% of the populations’ “need to profit”…They would have to do physical work themselves, if someone like you did not “need”..They would have to provide on their own, for themselves…NOT too comfortable a living…Similar to you & me…

  8. nobody says:

You all just gave CAPITAL monies to the slave drivers to buy up the so-called failing businesses…ON the way the benifactors that bought the failing businesses took 50% of your invested monies & now put you into HUGE NATIONAL DEBT, which DEBT is all owned by the benifactors at the top….When the NATIONAL debt is no longer payable the NWO plans have come home to roost…

  9. nobody says:

Israel & the ARABs are just pawns.Look at the BIG picture..Keep people preoccupied with events of the day.

  10. nobody says:

On the way to a NWO some businesses must be done away with, along with some NATIONS, such as nuclear power, PAKISTAN, USSR & CHINA..Where do you think the LEAGUE of NATIONs came from ??Hold your friends close but hold your ENEMIES closer..

  11. nobody says:

I do include those being enslaved as businesses as well as individuals & near the top ,NATIONS.

  12. nobody says:

fluidly unsure : All you are telling me is confermation of my thought …IT was the backs of individual effort of the 50’s & 60’s that pulled the USA out of debt…The same things need to happen again ,which would be, “profit” making business ventures… I don’t think the ROTHCHILDs are at the same level of the food chain as you or I…They would be the slave drivers of any econemy or NWO…

  13. fluidly unsure says:

Nobody, As much as I agree with your sentiment, let’s not get carried away. The “someone’s trying to enslave me” line is already overused. The big names are scrambling too, not just the little guys like you and me.

The fact that we were headed towards the current situation was obvious to many years ago. It looks like the 30’s paid for the mistakes in the 20’s the way we are paying for the mistakes in the 90’s and 200x.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t take 20 years and gearing up for a world war to get us out.

  14. nobody says:

Let’s look at the word “WEALTH”..In todays GOLDless economy & printed notes, WEALTH is mearly on YOUR & MY back, EFFORT or future EFFORT is what is backing printed DEBT monies..This means that a PROFIT must be made somewhere along the path of life…When you defer payment you risk or chance an increase in the future..Someone else is risking you will also get that increase or there would be NO borrowing capabilities..Wealth can be discribed by today’s DEBT or tommorow’s INCREASE..To those who are wealthy TODAY, Increase comes off of the backs of other future earnings..AS a nation in DEBT to the WEALTHY, we taxpayers are being douped into “bailing out” those who hold the DEBT over our head & on our childrens backs..IT was MY, 401K that took the loss..It was earned contributions that were there one day & gone the next..Someone profited by MY loss…AFTER Someone took that gain from ME, I am expected by my Government to pay more DEBT in a term called a BAILOUT or STIMULUS which is also taken from my earnings & future earnings by way of TAXES…Who is trying to break Who???Who is trying to salvage Who???I am very confused as to the theory of taking (by way of taxation & Nat’L debt) from me and spreading the wealth to corporations & other investers who already took my 401K monies, which they did not earn, unearned income…Wealth is not always explained in monetary terms but may also be in assets on the shelf or “energy” in your body & mind…AS I see this New “Change” I can only see Enslavement or DEBT I do not want..Someone wants to enslave me & my future posterity, END of story.

  15. jeff says:

IN A WORLD WHERE 1% OF THE POPULATION OWNS 40% OF ITS WEALTH. I think that its impossible to have a president that truly wants to do good. I’m black and though today was a great day for African Americans everywhere, what about tomorrow Obama so far has talked about nothing but bailouts which could only dilute the value of are currency and increase the debt we owe to the banks of the federal reserve. I also i have a great deal of respect for what you preach i think its just sad that Americans don’t understand the message behind your words.I’m only 17 years old but i would have gladly chosen you to be the president. Please don’t give up on what your trying to do. I agree on all of your plans and its a shame they didn’t get the chance to be put into action what corrupts politicians i think do and don’t realize is peace in most situations overrides war. I judge people on how they act and i see a man of great character in you its just to bad some people are mentally blinded by T.V, video games, and what they read in the newspapers that shields them from problems that are in front of there faces.

    • Fluidly Unsure says:

That may mean that only 1% produce or service something that is of value to another. This of course assumes a free market which dictators and socialist claim to dislike.

I’ve also heard that the top 2% also create 80% of the tax revenues. It sounds like the rest of us (me included) are living off the backs of the wealthy. Be careful because one day Atlas may shrug.

Politicians have always been and will always be corrupt and people will always be greedy. However, it is easy to forget that fanatic idealism and envy are just as bad. Why is it wrong for a politician to push for a cause they believe in which is corrupt to non-believers? Or why is it wrong for someone to be greedy and try to get as much as possible like ask for a raise?

      • Nate says:

“I’ve also heard that the top 2% also create 80% of the tax revenues. It sounds like the rest of us (me included) are living off the backs of the wealthy.”

Yeah it sounds that way. But it’s not true.

        • jeff says:

sorry for not responding i have not been checking my emails but to answer your question on ww2 i think with much confidence and facts that ww2 was provoked by the us government (mainly FDR). If you look at the events leading up to pearl harbor you would notice that although America was not in the war they sold weapons to Great Britain and other countries that i cannot remember which is in clear violation of the wartime rules. Another disturbing fact is that a certain corporation in the U.S which i can’t remember sold explosives to Germany during ww2 if that doesn’t sound crazy enough for you the President of that corporation was Prescot Bush(fmr president bush’s grandfather). I also would like to bring up pearl harbor because well don’t you find it weird that japan was able to get past the U.S without any radar picking them up if you do that’s good because the U.S did pick it up on the radar they simply wanted it to happen. FDR was sympathetic to bankers because most of his family was made up of them. If you at ways the federal reserve banks could profit number one on the list would be war. It causes the government to borough more money from the banks meaning more debt that we must pay back from taxes. Even though it created jobs if now look at society today all of the programs such all welfare, medicaid are one of the many reasons we are in a recession. If you would like to learn more please go to ZEITGEIST.COM and watch both documentaries although they say some crazy stuff about religion don’t believe focus on everything but that and thanks for listening Nate.

  16. A Moment of Community to End Prohibition

Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is in prison. Mark Twain

Unjust laws (like prohibition) can only function in a chaotic society—like ours. In a cohesive society, pot smoking lawbreakers would join with their communities and head en masse to the police station (or state capital) and confess their crime(s).

Working with police to enforce the law is empowering and builds community, a completely different experience compared to being alone and hiding from the law. It would be hard to ignore 30+ percent of the population waiting their turn at the court house.

Tyrants and inequality flourish only in the absence of community.

Prohibition is bad law that inspires violence and corruption on a massive scale, more than 5,000 murders in Mexico last year. The day we are willing to be honest in this country is also the day prohibition is doomed. Being honest, telling the truth about us has tremendous potential for empowering people and communities—and to limit the spread of violence caused by the tyranny of unjust laws.

The truth is drug gangs and “law enforcement” both attract sick, violent men with bad intentions, prohibition has become a perverse system of welfare for the criminally and violently predisposed. The drug war is a deadly game that has nothing to do with drugs—and everything to do with unjust laws that create inequality—the realm of violence and exploitation throughout history.

Possibility: You always find inequality and violence together; but never in the same space as community and equality. Your choice is to do nothing and support the tyrants or get into action with friends to cooperate with community leaders. When the bonds of community become stronger than the chains of tyranny then equality and justice will prevail. Then we can get on with creating a world that works for everyone.

42 percent of the population on 420 would be more than enough to awaken the world to real power of community and equality. Be part of the celebration that changed the world.

Strength does not come from physical capacity (army & police). It comes from an indomitable will. Mahatma Gandhi

Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children. Sitting Bull

  17. Danny |Murphy says:

    Congressman Paul;

Your right Congressman Paul, we should be concerned with problems that are happening here in America. I believe you should be asking for Barak Hussein Obama’s “PROOF” of where he was BORN, asking for Obama to prove his citizenship, and for we Americans to know who this person is??????

Who is Obama, where was he born, for there are some serious law suites active and pending in the U.S.Supreme Court, we need you to ask for PROOF of who this guy who is soon to take the oath of the Office of the President, Obama is NOT a “Natural Born Citizen”! Your the champion of the Constitution, lets make this guy PROVE IT!

    Thank You For Your Time!

    Danny Murphy

    • Dave Makkar says:

      Dear Mr. Murphy:

YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT OBAMA WHAT ABOUT JEWS/ISRAELI’S

I refused to call Jews or any one American when they can serve in the Army of a foreign country and can vote in elections of a foreign Country. In the case of Jews while holding American Citizenship they can serve in Israeli Army like President Elect Obama’s Chief of White House Staff Rahm Emanuel and can vote in Israeli elections. It is a debatable issue how one can trust such a privileged class of Jews with divided loyalties who is hostage to its own morally & ethically corrupt as well as racist Leadership of Israel in any country? It looks like besides acceptable to their colony America they are getting warm welcomes in India WITH 4,000 JEW POPULATION who is being converted into another Israeli colony.

BY THE WAY OBAMA IS THE CREATION OF ISRAELIS. DON’T YOU REMEMBER OBAMA’S STATEMENT AT AIPAC THE WORLD’s MOST RACIST ORGANIZATION?

UNDIVIDED JERUSALEM FOR TERRORIST STATE ISRAEL. WHICH MEANS THERE CAN NEVER BE PEACE IN MIDDLE EAST UNDER OBAMA.

Unfortunately 7,800 Jews/Israeli Leaders control America representing the 2% Jew population of USA . They control Judiciary, big law firms besides Media, Hollywood , Banking, Real Estate, Universities, Schools and Politics of America. US Congress is under full control of 45 Israeli’s 32 Representatives and 13 Senators. Every American politicians including President elect Obama can drop their pants and skirts when they see an Israeli/Jew before any one can blink their eyes. When they open up their mouth they talk about Jews and Israel only. Jew Leaders have made America another Israeli colony after Palestine .

LET US JOIN TOGETHER TO TAKE CONTROL OF OUR COUNTRY FROM ISRAELIS.

Whether you agree or not, we are in a global society .The financial conditions are inter-twined far beyond backing out. Each country’s system is dependant on other countries..To stop any phase of TRADE at this time would ruin any Country..It is give and take .No,one nation is an Island anymore..Whether by design or by happenstance , we are connected..This means we need to maintain our SOVERNTY in the face of the finacial wizards’ beckonings..”Profitability” and meeting a “demand” means more than ever in this new game.Debt means you must come from behind while maintaining..Public works and Regulation do not make PROFIT…Profit is the ONLY way out of our plight and all other nations need the same.. Healthcare in Government hands is non-profitable & only a liability, more debt.To create a job is not the same as the demand for a job..We must have profit making jobs to replace what they sent overseas…But don’t ask foreigner’s for your job back..Power to the consumer is the order of the day..
GDP with a profit will pay the bills..

It is sad to see that many people have not woken from their media induced sleep as of yet, but at the same time I am seeing more and more young people like myself see the true world around us. As long as each and everyone of us is able to get the word out to one more person and we all keep ourselves informed and active in our communities we can and will make a difference!!! You make me proud to be a libertarian. :) Good luck to you all!!!

If there was a new age West Indies to be discovered I think some would treat the United States as those did England in the 17th century. Flee and set up shop elsewhere, b/c we are becoming exactly what the folks who settled this dear land were trying to escape from: Oppression, Blind Persecution, Perversion and an overall subconscious serfdom if may be so bold.

I have a few questions as I’m new this fall to the Ron Paul camp, although I have read the manifesto, I ask you this.

    What is Ron’s stance on:

    Immigration and our borders?

I believe he is pro-life (I won’t comment on my own beliefs to keep this unbias), Rape cases? First trimester abortion?

What does Ron propose if we do remove troops from 130 countries around the world, where do we place them?

    Thank you god bless!

  21. Jovan N says:

Things have been ironic and will continue to be. The Bush Administration called its agenda a “War on Terrorism” to preserve the safety of the American people but in actuality, our safety is being eaten away like acid burning through stacks of paper. The day when the US dollar has no essential value anymore is the day when we perish and rot as the hoards of ignorant people will begin to realize the dreadful situation that they have already placed themselves in. They will wish that they had voted for Ron Paul in 2008 to promote peace and prosperity in addition to anti-nation building on foreign soil.

As a Ron Paul follower and a college student, I have written several letters expressing my concerns to the city council members of my district and hope they will somehow catch the attention of the “higher-ups” but I can only be optimistic at most.

Quick response to the comment by Heather Johnson.. Heather I also feel like I’m alone sometimes because so few people even till this day don’t even know who Ron Paul is or what Libertarian ideals stand for when I asked them. I am struck with dismay every time this occurs and it disgusts me.

Well enough of my ranting. At least when the next person complains to me about the deteriorating U.S. economy, failed foreign affairs or the dismantling of the personal liberty rights,
I will respond by saying, “Don’t blame me I voted for Ron Paul.”

  22. American says:

“I am for free commerce with all nations, political connection with none, and little or no diplomatic establishment. And I am not for linking ourselves by new treaties with the quarrels of Europe, entering that field of slaughter to preserve their balance, or joining in the confederacy of Kings to war against the principles of liberty.” –Thomas Jefferson to Elbridge Gerry, 1799.

“I have ever deemed it fundamental for the United States never to take active part in the quarrels of Europe. Their political interests are entirely distinct from ours. Their mutual jealousies, their balance of power, their complicated alliances, their forms and principles of government, are all foreign to us. They are nations of eternal war. All their energies are expended in the destruction of the labor, property and lives of their people.” –Thomas Jefferson to James Monroe, 1823.

“I sincerely join… in abjuring all political connection with every foreign power; and though I cordially wish well to the progress of liberty in all nations, and would forever give it the weight of our countenance, yet they are not to be touched without contamination from their other bad principles. Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto.” –Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Lomax.

“We have a perfect horror at everything like connecting ourselves with the politics of Europe.” –Thomas Jefferson to William Short, 1801.

“Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations–entangling alliances with none, I deem [one of] the essential principles of our government, and consequently [one of] those which ought to shape its administration.” –Thomas Jefferson: 1st Inaugural Address, 1801.

“We wish the happiness and prosperity of every nation.” –Thomas Jefferson to Mme de Stael-Holstein, 1815.

I’m a grandmother; and unfortunately I didn’t see this coming years ago….or I was blinded by the comfortable life I was living but always worried about bills. Now, with my daughter 22 and my granddaughter 16 months and our liberties at stake….it is so unbelievably scary. I spread Ron Paul’s words as much as possible. I am also making Naomi Wolf’s documentary The End of America available by inviting friends to watch it at my house. Hopefully, some will stop by to watch and then we can start a discussion.

I am so thankful for Ron Paul’s willingness to speak out against the injustices that we are supporting. I love the military personnel. They accomplish any and all missions. But the leaders of this country have us buffaloed into thinking this is really about our safety.

Mr. Paul, I commend you for your work and will help in any way I can to spread the truth.

  24. Heather Johnson says:

Sometimes my husband and I feel like we view things like outcasts from everyone around us. We cannot believe how ignorant and blind everyone seems to be. Unless things don’t impact them directly they are so complacent and seem to care less. I love Ron Paul and he makes so much sense to us. When is America going to wake up…after China buys up all of our debt and takes us over and we have none of our freedoms remaining. When our grandkids are dying from preventable diseases because they no longer have any healthcare. We as a country are so “entitled” and the appearance of money is more important than common sense. It is sickening….Our futures are looking very bleak…..

    • Thats funny how u say u and ur hubby sit back and watch all of the people who are happy with their mercedes and 300K home and their plazma tvs and ipod/iphones…. its sickning..very sickning..I think the way me and my hubby can only deal with it is by humor. Sad but true. Idiots walk the earth.

    • Donna says:

Heather, don’t be mislead by our “need” for healthcare. If we will only eat the food God created and that without pesticides, added hormones and antibiotics, we can stay healthy. Stay out of fast food restaurants, etc.; grow your own food; buy from local farmers, etc. Quit giving your children commercial milk to drink; the processing is worse than any benefit, besides they don’t need milk.

The only heathcare we should ever need is for broken bones, cuts, and an occasional operation. Spend a little time doing some research on healthier living. Spend the money you would spend on a health insurance policy on quality food. Hippocrates agrees…

How much more of this corporate oligarchy can we take? America is this huge ocean liner that has a 20 degree list. Democracy is something they sell us on TV while we drink our beer and lose ourselves in corporate sanctioned sporting events. Meanwhile, we’re being robbed blind. People used to cut the heads of kings off for less that what’s going on today! We (Americans) started and won a war with the greatest power on earth in 1776 just for a fraction of the abuse we’re experiencing today. Freedom seems reserved for the rich while the government creates a new criminal class from the economic climate we’re in today. As a nation, we are behaving like we have just been told we have a terminal illness; we’re running up the credit like there’s no tomorrow…and there may not be. If I am wrong then we have a problem that is much bigger than our activities in Iraq and Afghanistan since a complete news black-out would have been going on for about 10 years. Didn’t OBL declare war on America in the late 80’s?

    • Yes. It’s WAY bigger than what you think it is. NWO is here to stay..powered by your tax dollars and school loans!

      • I ment to say…dont you know who runs your tv and why ron paul wasn’t given attention..its not only because his values are true but they would harm the money making scams…

If I can’t make an opinion with info online or from books then I don’t make it at all. I try to get information as close to the source as possible and as far from ideological sites as possible. Truth isn’t exclusive to the left, right, or middle. All three bend the truth the way they want it.

I don’t agree with anyone 100%, including Ron Paul. While he is definitely better in the common sense department than most everyone out there, he is not God.

  30. I was recently watching the video posted on youtube that has been on my profile and started watching all these new movies that have been comming out…such as
eagle eye- the gov. still wins no matter what anyone does..it was an amazing movie and just opened my eyes to see how we could only go so far. People are waking up but not quick enough. We are ran by bankers. Its so disappointing to be driving my car that is bought and paid for know that in reality I don’t own it. The money I make at work…really is not worth anything and it could all be taken from me… I am a young person with many concerns and tried during election time to push RON PAUL out to my family and friends. None of them even voted for ron paul and still wernt happy with their outcome. I saw ONE car here in alabama where I live that had a bumper sticker that said “honk if your for ron paul” and when I past him I went bolistic..I was so excited ranting and raving my horn. But that one car..only one..it made me so sad at the same time.

It’s just horrifying to know that people have NO IDEA whats going on just because they are sucked into the tube and dont really want to find out. Some of my friends say “oh well, what is one person gonna do” and I get so angry just thinking about it.
Another movie that I watched was
    War,Inc -
It is somewhat a comedy on how war really works…not to solve problems but to endorce companies. It has another story plot to it but it made me laugh seeing a tank roll by with advertisments and a popeyes chicken on the street corner of a 3rd world country and cola signs being placed in street malls. it is infact whats going on but put out in a since were people dont take it seriously just like eagle eye was more so something that is fictional..but mainly had a point to get across without actually saying what it was.
I love Ron Paul..and was so happy to see his face in “freedom to fascism”. There is a very important man who was speaking about time and how we REALLY only have here and now. Very simple. Nothing complicated about here and now. People look to future and past for answers when in reality..you have here and now.

AMERICA HAS BECOME AN ISRAELI COLONY

“individuals joined together below the hips posing as Politicians, Judges, Bureaucrats, Attorneys working for Israeli controlled big Businesses including main stream media are governing America.”

But they are acceptable in their colony AMERICA.

    HOW WE CAN CHANGE THIS?

  32. Mac Leckey says:

One cannot excuse the actions of the attackers of 9/11 but we MUST acknowledge why the towers fell on that fateful day. Interloping in the affairs of and invading other nations to impose our will comes at a steep price.

    • I dont want to ruin ron pauls page with this but I did want to mention that do you infact understand who the attackers were? Hitler used the same tactics…..creating an illusion of a problem to have an excuse to invade a country. This is a different topic but I just wanted to see if you were intrested in watching the videos about that such as arron russo’s movie “freedom to fascism” which ron paul makes an appearance in on tax.

  33. Joelle Verbeke says:

Wisdom has eluded our leaders. It is time for a 180 degree change and follow the wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, MLK and so many wiser people. Non Violence, diplomacy and compassion are called for now more than ever by statesmen in this country and around the world. Without peace and growth in the right directions where will we end up?

  34. Sean says:

We could have done so much for our country with the money spent on the war. We could have sent every individual in America to 4 years of college. Think of the smarts we could of had instead of death on our consious..
