Ron Paul’s Bill To Audit The Federal Reserve Now Has 165 Co-Sponsors

Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve (HR 1207) now has 165 co-sponsors, and the numbers keep growing!

This is history in the making, and victory is within reach. Imagine what will happen if HR 1207, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, comes up for vote in Congress! With one third of the House of Representatives already co-sponsoring this bill, it has real potential to pass — BUT only if we educate and rally the people to support it and get our Congresspeople to put it to vote and pass it.

Step 1: Your Representative

If your representative is not on the following list of HR 1207 co-sponsors, call their offices, write to them, email them, etc. Let them know they need to support HR 1207. If you live in their district, let them know. Go to their office.

Call their offices, write to them, email them, etc. Let them know they need to support HR 1207. If you live in their district, let them know. Go to their office.

Help with this all important public outreach. NOW REALLY IS THE TIME!

Here’s a sample letter you can use:

Dear Representative,

Please co-sponsor and/or support H.R.1207, an effort to audit the Federal Reserve.

Recently, it has come to light that there is little to no accountability to the people on the part of the Federal Reserve. While the citizens of this country are required by law to give an accounting of every penny they come in contact with, the Federal Reserve has never been held to the same standard. During this time of extreme economic crisis, the people deserve an accounting of where our money is going.

Currently there are 165 co-sponsors for this legislation, and it is enjoying bi-partisan support. Your efforts in supporting this important legislation would go a long way in proving to your constituents that you not only hold the Federal Reserve to the same standard as you do your constituents, but it would also show that you believe in transparency. Anything less than support for this resolution suggests that you are in favor of secrecy and a lack of accountability to the people who pay the bills. We pay the tab; we have a right to know where our money is going.

Unlike recent bills that you voted in favor of that had hundreds of pages and just a few hours to read, this bill can be read in under 5 minutes. I encourage you to take the time to read it, and then move to support it.

Thank you in advance for your attention on this important legislation. I have every expectation that you will do right by your constituents and support this measure.

Sincerely,

Step 3: The People

Tell everyone you know about HR 1207 and ask them to support it and to contact their representative as well. Link to this page and to CampaignForLiberty.com.

This initiative is crucial and we need to redouble our efforts to get HR 1207 passed.

  2. Play Monopoly with a fractional reserve banking system and let the bank buy properties. For those who doubt the injustice of this financial system like Sean our resident troll, play monoploy with a difference.

Deal out all the cash to the other 4 players and leave the bank with only 10% of the cash left over. Then let the bank generate 9 times the amount of cash they it has in reserve after everyone has passed go.{You will need to photo copy extra monopoly money just like the Fed does to play this game]Perhaps Ron Paul can market a new game called Fed Monopoly.

Even with only 10% of the cash of the rest of society, the bank soon catches up and has enough wealth to buy most of the properties. As an interesting twist, let the bank loan cyber money to the other players at interest. When the other players pass go,they pay interest to the Fed.

If people like Sean think that this is a fair way of conducting the game of economics, then Fed Monopoly will soon demonstrate his folly and deceptive greed.

  3. Thank you Congressman, Dr. Charles Boustany Jr., from Lafayette, Louisiana for signing onto this Great Bill by RON PAUL. You're a Great American!!, and a great medical doctor. You performed surgery several times on my Mother when she suffered with cancer back in 1994 -- 1996'. You were her favorite doctor, and she always spoke very highly of you. Your cousin Alfred F. Boustany II is my attorney and a personal friend. Few folks know the Boustany Family unless they are from the Acadiana Area, the Greatest Place in this whole world to live!! Time for a little history. The Boustany Family has been in this area for well over 100-years. Your Father Dr. Charles Boustany Sr., who very recently passed away was also a Great Medical Doctor who provided service to our area for many many years, sometimes without payment for those in need that didn't have the money or ability to pay. Every Boustany is a Fine American, who all work in some Profession such as Medical, Legal or other Specialty. The Boustany Family are also 'All Great Americans' who LOVE THEIR COUNTRY, and their FELLOW MAN. It takes a special type of individual to become a medical doctor. Years and years of study, discipline, a sharp mind, a drive and motivation that is never satisfied, and that pursuit to heal, and rid the world of pain, suffering and misery. You have to LOVE YOUR FELLOW MAN, and LOVE THE SANCTITY OF LIFE ITSELF. Likewise, it takes a special person to Represent "US" in the Government of these United States!! It takes drive, integrity, perserverance, and very many times personal sacrifice to stand up and do what is right, true and just. The Great People of our Acadiana Area Dr. Boustany, and every GOD Fearing American do not deserve nor have they done anything to warrant the TYRANNY, MISERY and OUTRIGHT ABUSE the BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA Administration has usurped upon us all Sir. The OBAMA Administration is a farce, and their radical agenda and deeds will be brought to light someday. Currently they are working to devastate and destroy the Oilfield Industry which will basically wipe Louisiana off the map. The Federal Reserve, along with Henry Paulson, Bernanke and others have illegally and with specific intent defrauded and stolen vast amounts of money, yet fail to give an accounting of their deeds. Back home we call that theft, theft by fraud to be specific. These facts will be developed following an audit of their practices, especially the large sums of funds going ABROAD.
Acadiana is proud of you Dr. Boustany!! We are also proud of Senator David Vitter!! We need your help, we need all the help we can get.... Thank GOD for you Sir, RON PAUL, David Vitter, and those persons that have co-sponsored this legislation to get to the bottom of the Financial Terrrorism the American People have been subjected to. Audit the Federal Reserve, Gather the facts, and save some room at GITMO, I have a feeling we will need it.
