Ron Paul’s Bill To Audit The Federal Reserve Now Has 179 Co-Sponsors

Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve (HR 1207) now has 179 co-sponsors, and the numbers keep growing!

This is history in the making, and victory is within reach. Imagine what will happen if HR 1207, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, comes up for vote in Congress!

With more than 40% of the House of Representatives already co-sponsoring this bill, it has real potential to pass — BUT only if we educate and rally the people to support it and get our Congresspeople to put it to vote and pass it.

Step 1: Your Representative

If your representative is not on the following list of HR 1207 co-sponsors, call their offices, write to them, email them, etc. Let them know they need to support HR 1207. If you live in their district, let them know. Go to their office.

Step 2: Financial Services Committee

HR 1207 is now in the House Committee on Financial Services. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP in this legislation! If it doesn’t get out of committee it will not come to a vote! There are 71 members on this committee and they are all listed below.

We need to let all members of the House Committee on Financial Services know that we want them to allow full House consideration of HR 1207 so it can move forward; we need them to support this. Now is the time.

Call their offices, write to them, email them, etc. Let them know they need to support HR 1207. If you live in their district, let them know. Go to their office.

Help with this all important public outreach. NOW REALLY IS THE TIME!

Here’s a sample letter you can use:

Dear Representative,

Please co-sponsor and/or support H.R.1207, an effort to audit the Federal Reserve.

Recently, it has come to light that there is little to no accountability to the people on the part of the Federal Reserve. While the citizens of this country are required by law to give an accounting of every penny they come in contact with, the Federal Reserve has never been held to the same standard. During this time of extreme economic crisis, the people deserve an accounting of where our money is going.

Currently there are 179 co-sponsors for this legislation, and it is enjoying bi-partisan support. Your efforts in supporting this important legislation would go a long way in proving to your constituents that you not only hold the Federal Reserve to the same standard as you do your constituents, but it would also show that you believe in transparency. Anything less than support for this resolution suggests that you are in favor of secrecy and a lack of accountability to the people who pay the bills. We pay the tab; we have a right to know where our money is going.

Unlike recent bills that you voted in favor of that had hundreds of pages and just a few hours to read, this bill can be read in under 5 minutes. I encourage you to take the time to read it, and then move to support it.

Thank you in advance for your attention on this important legislation. I have every expectation that you will do right by your constituents and support this measure.

Sincerely,

Step 3: The People

Tell everyone you know about HR 1207 and ask them to support it and to contact their representative as well. Link to this page and to CampaignForLiberty.com.

This initiative is crucial and we need to redouble our efforts to get HR 1207 passed.

    Documentaries Exposing The Federal Reserve
    March 9, 2009

Two wars were fought to kick the international banking cartel out of America: The American Revolution and the War of 1812.

The international banking cartel made it back into the country in 1913 with the passing of the Federal Reserve Act by Woodrow Wilson. JFK was killed because he was trying to expose it.

There are numerous books and documentaries exposing the Federal Reserve. The Creature From Jekyll Island and Tragedy and Hope are two important books, among many.

Tragedy and Hope exposes the Council on Foreign Relations, which is heavily related to the agenda of the Federal Reserve. The Trilateral Commission, the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), and the Bilderberg Group are other key organizations related to the agenda of the international banking cartel. There are many more. Collectively, the agenda is the New World Order.

If you want to know where this is all going, watch the last film. This is very serious and very real. 90% of us could be dead very soon. The rest of you will be highly controlled and manipulated slave labor, and in a lot of regards, you already are and don’t even know it.

Here is a long list of videos exposing the Federal Reserve system, and there are still many more.

    The Money Masters

    Zeitgeist: The Federal Reserve

    Money As Debt

Let me put the solution in perspective: if you jail and confiscate the wealth of every Federal Reserve owner, the economy would boom the very next day. The Rothschild family alone is estimated to be worth $500 trillion. If you redistribute that wealth, that is almost $100,000 for every person in the world.

How can one family own over half the world? The answer, as stated by the Rothschild family, is by controlling the monetary policy of nations. Being completely ruthless and secretive helped. It is the mother of all rackets, which relies on the naive nature of people.

Go to, http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/ and view thread entitled “Monetary Porn” under the heading General Discussion.

Notice that we have interest groups paricularily in the sharemaket who will defend the present system no matter how unjust it is.

This will be a titantic struggle since the present system is so intrenched.Education and creating awareness is the answer.

An instition the makes a profit from debt cannot ALSO be the institution that influences the amount of that debt. It is this simple conflict of interest that has caused the current collapse. The uninformed now look to the perpetrators for the solution, thinking that these creators of money, debt and interest are loyal to us and our government. They are not. In fact, they are a collection of international players that are only loyal to themselves. Just look at where the AIG money went. Unfortunately, ignorance always leads the lamb to slaughter.

Nick it is already a tax in reality at the moment they create and distribute it.The population of the USA is 380 million. If you were to create $308 million by counterfeiting, that dilutes the wealth of all Americans by $1.00 per person.Counterfeiting is considered to be theft but the fractional reserve sytem is called monetary policy. So to answer your question, they are really taking $500 billion from the people and loaning it back to them at interest.

The Fed is subject to a corporate tax of 30% that may be eliminated depending on special considerations. They create $ trillions and are not accountable to anyone. In the end they take far more than they give.

I don’t even get a letter back from William Delahunt (MA-10). He’s too busy trying to find out why this country is got into a financial crisis. This was on his web site:

PRESIDENT SIGNS DELAHUNT BILL TO EXAMINE FINANCIAL CRISIS

Legislation Creates Bi-Partisan Financial Markets Commission
WASHINGTON, DC – In an Oval Office ceremony, President Obama today signed into law legislation sponsored by Congressman Bill Delahunt that will create a Financial Markets Commission to fully investigate the near-collapse of the banking system and the loss of tens of trillions of dollars.

“I am pleased that President Obama has signed this legislation which will create and independent investigation into the causes of the current financial crisis.” Delahunt said. “The American people have lost trillions in investment income and in equity, while investors around the world have lost confidence in our markets.”

The legislation to create the seven-member, bi-partisan Financial Markets Commission was introduced earlier this month by Delahunt and U.S. Rep. Steve LaTourette (R-OH). The panel will be modeled after the 9-11 Commission, which independently investigated the failures leading up to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and made sound recommendations on measures to prevent another attack in the future.

It will include two appointees by the President and one appointee each from the Speaker of the House, the House Republican Leader, the Senate Democratic Leader, the Senate Republican Leader and the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

The Financial Markets Commission will have one year to investigate all the circumstances that led to the current financial crisis and have the authority to refer to the U.S. Attorney General and state attorneys general any evidence that institutions or individuals may have violated existing laws. At the end of its investigation, the Commission will report to the President and to the Congress its recommendations for statutory or regulatory changes necessary to protect our country from a repeat of this financial collapse.

All he needs to do is hop onto HR 1207 and really start doing something. Still not a single congressman from MA has signed on. Not even Barney Frank! I think they may have their own offices in the Fed building in Boston.

As you know, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act directs the Comptroller General to complete an audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, followed by a detailed report to Congress. Currently, there is little transparency regarding the actions of the Federal Reserve. As we slowly work our way out of the financial crisis, it is important that the inner workings of our monetary policy be transparent and fair. I look forward to working with my colleagues to determine the best method to bring transparency to these activities and how best for that information to be relayed to Congress.

Thank you again for contacting me about this matter. I appreciate hearing from you and assure you that I will always do my best to represent the views of my constituents in Congress. In the future, please do not hesitate to call at (202) 225-4476 or contact me through my website at http://www.chrismurphy.house.gov, where you can sign up to receive updates through MurphMail, my electronic newsletter.

    Every Best Wish,

    Christopher S. Murphy
    Member of Congress

It will be interesting to audit an agency which has the power to create money (wealth??) out of thin air by printing on a peice of paper. All you can do is track where the agemcy is dispensing its inflationary pressure and creating the next “bubble” it will have to “correct” when that one breaks.

What is needed more is the abolishment of the Federal Reserve and a return to some semblance of a sound currency (Gold Standard??) backed by something better than faith.

When Hitler came into power the German economy was a total basket case. They were in deep debt to the banks. They had hyper-inflation,massive unemployment and chaos.

Hitler printed his own money, gave the finger to the banks and Germany recovered within 2 yrs without international finance.

Germany was soon an economic powerhouse that almost conquered the planet.

Why in a modern world of far superior technology and production etc,do we have a shrinking middle class and world wide poverty?

The answer is in the bank’s ability of taking wealth from society by the creation of too much debt money.

Education is the key. Fewer hysterical rants, and more visits to other websites for posting information. Letters and e-mails. That is how the word is getting out. That is why there are 175 co-sponsors.
The entrenched GOP is no different from the Democrats on the important issues. Either we change the GOP, or build a third party.

Stewart,”build a third party?” That will get international support.I’m not American but I would give money to change this system. It must start in the US since it currently is still the world’s military super power and with China a totalitarian state on the move we,do not need the totalitarian banksters also enslaving us.

You added Walt Minnick to the first list, but on the second list “democrats” co-sponsor is still not by his name.

One thing you don’t understand about GOPs and corporate punks… they’re scared witless of the public and really can’t defend themselves beyond words! We are the masses, remember that. They haven’t been able to control us since ancient times… what makes you think a bunch of cameras and bullshit laws gonna do to us? Nothing! Just because the mass’s toleration is at work we haven’t done nothing yet, but I’m damn sure that threshold is gonna top off soon the way things are going. People need to be awaken… for we’ll sleep when we die; until then, preservation for our freedom is the only thing we must strive for. See… too many mediocre idiots just haven’t been traumatized enough in their comfortable crappy lives to take initiative to become aware of the big ass global problem we facing; but in hard times like our current state, people will start putting their logic into gear and definitely will start asking questions… without questionings a person will never try to seek answers, RIGHT!? They will fail and we shall prevail!

What scares them most is the dissemination of information on sites like this. They cannot control the internet. The secret to education is using simple words that relate to people’s experiences. They understand counterfeiting and they can understand the stealing of their wealth by the Fed creating money from nothing.

Choose simple words and concepts and keep repeating them. The message will, get through.Don’t forget also the US is the most armed society on the planet. The object now will be to divide and conquer the US people on racial, political, economic, religious, fear of terrorists etc,so as to cause confusion.

They cannot defeat a united population who have the knowledge of their intent.

They will never control the us unless it is done through their secrete society,as up till its not a secrete any more.We need to demand an audit on our tax dollars. Better yet, we should check off on a list of destinations for every dollar they extort. However, if this was in effect, there would be events where the taxpayer would donate even further towards worthy causes. Can you imagine a non malfunctioning society? Life would be a dream not a nightmare. Anyway…Im sure we will soon awake.
