Processing your request, Please wait....

I I love Ron Paul. I think he needs to work on his debate presentation. He sounded like how I feel about what has been going on in this country, Whiny!!!!He whines way too much. I would like to see him to gain a “matter of fact” tone to his speeches. Had Ron Paul looked like Romney and sounded like Obama he wouldn’t have been ignored. He has to sell himself which will sell our ideology. He also needs to reach across the aisle to Repubs and Dems on social issues that Libertarians have been tagged as against. Maybe the libertarians need to figure out what social issues we are neutral on and advertise it. Denote the stigmas that haunt us. I will vote for him over and over again.

Dr. Paul is just being genunie and earnest and I love him just the way he is, just a very special man. He does appear emotional at times but that’s because it is so painfully clear that the country is going down the wrong path while most of the candidates are so blinded by their own ambitions and power trips that they fail to see what he sees. He hurts because he cares so much for us and the country. He was ignored because he is the real deal and feared by the establishment.

I completely agree. I want him to win terribly. Having done talk radio and been the only Libertarian at the time on air. Mind you that Repubs called me a conspiracy theorist despite that my ratings were soaring. I now tell all my fans that I see time to time, “Told you so”. I have been in the fight. I know what he has to do to sell himself to be a political contender. They are scared of the message and are using his passion against him. We want him to win. This is just my opinion. I also agree with the person that suggested he run as an Independent.

The number people who are in sync with Ron Paul’s awareness are increasing, and they will continue to increase as time goes on. There is a great divide between good and evil, and as the evil worsens, it will become more and more apparent, exposed. We will all know because of how this way ill-affects humanity as a whole.
Creatives will not complain, instead they will spend their time and energy inventing and establish alternative ways of living, clearing and developing their own personal power through meditation and the like. As they clear and develop, they will challenge foundational beliefs that have led us to this point so far to find alternative beliefs that lead us into good, healthy and balanced ways of living and being for all. There is an inner knower that knows and guides everyone. No media needed.

I am a strong advocate for Dr. Paul and would love to see him run again for president. However, I think it is vital that he wins both the republican nomination and in Novemeber 2012.
I think his message is what’s best for our country and the time is ripe for victory but also believe it will be nessasary to consider these slight alterations to his message.
In regrds to foreign policy, I think the idea of withdrawl from NATO, UN and all foreign alliances and returning to bilateral foreign policy agreements is a good idea and must be pursued. However to close down all US military bases in all 130 countries around the world will not sell easily with many Republicans. Whereas a policy that allows for naval and air force bases in perhaps two dozens countries minus defense allinace with those countries might sell better. WE MUST WIN THIS TIME! I also think leaving the possibilty of leaving a US attack on radical countries trying to develop nuclear waepons should be given some consideration and should not excluded OR at least voiced.
I beleive that Ron Paul is perhaps the last hope we have to restore our republic and save the US from financial ruin.
Additionally, we need a good plan to pay off or reduce the national debt and require a balanced federal budget. I think Dr. Paul is more capable than I or really anyone else to do this.

Ron Paul in my opinion would be a great candidate for President. Although I feel he should run on a third party ticket. If he runs as a Republican again he will be ignored again. Besides, he seems to be more of a Libertarian than a Republicrat anyway.
Just my opinion.

One of the problems with the last election is that the Republicans were trying to seek re-election so many people had their eyes on the Democrats. If Ron Paul runs again I think he’s going to gain a lot of attention, so whether he wins or not, many are sure to rally to our cause.
Plus he’ll be THE ONLY ONE talking about bringing troops home IMMEDIATELY and he’s sure to be highly critical of Obama on that point.

Obama is a fraud. He is in the pocket of the Bilderberg group just like all the other politicians. He is a puppet like Bush, which is why he isn’t changing anything. He stands to gain from going along with the NWO.

Regardless of Ron being Protestant, such as I, the first amendment clearly states our freedom of religion! If you are gay, be gay, if you are atheist, be atheist, an alternative to abortion is adoption. If you listen carefully to some of the things he has mentioned on these issues, he states that every individual will be responsible for their own actions. The key word here is freedom from the iron grip of our over powering government which dictates every aspect of our lives! We can govern ourselves, pay the price for our own actions, good or bad. Essentially it boils down to having the choice for yourself, not the government making it for you! Each individual will have to deal with their conscience through good or bad decisions made on their own part. If you expect the government to bail you out of trouble every time you screw up, you support Socialism period! The bloodiest war in history was the price paid for liberty. Now people are looking to their government, asking what they can do for them? Be a patriot, do something for THE PEOPLE of this land! We are not entitled to anything , except liberty… which is priceless. Freedom is paid for by patriots. Be one or take the low road that leads to calamity! Your choice… at least for now!

Frequently the same people who are pro-life change their mind….just wait 18 years and they will be ready to sign their kid up in the military or be willing to have another’s kid go to war to be killed and to kill. When will we truly value life?

If you want Ron Paul to win the presidency, you need to start fund raising efforts in your communities now. What won the election for Obama is what wins all elections: money. Ron Paul needs the same type of grass roots effort that Obama supporters marshalled in the last election. Get some websites going with Ron Pauls message on them and do some fund raising. This site ought to start the fund raising effort as well. Obama and his team used the internet to gain support and funding,he raised more money than any candidate in history. It will take a similar effort in 2012.

In today’s world, YES, we need Ron Paul! We needed him years ago! The man has a steady record of presenting truth to the American people even in the face of ridicule and being made a fool of in public by the opposition! The media has lied to us and we can expect this to happen next election! He sees the coming disaster of our nation, not to mention the dismantling of the constitution that’s been going on for years! I wonder if it would be legal for him to have a phone answering center in which they take votes over the phone.. maybe a certified letter with our vote that goes directly to his campaign! The voting system is just too corrupt! Do not vote electronically! Read about Diabold and how they rigged the computer to reverse the votes! I think he needs to run third party due to the fact that dems and reps are now considered “Republicrats”. Administration after administration – nothing changes and I think people are waking up even more now. We need to find a way around the MSM to show our support for him in 2012. I don’t care about Ron’s age! He’s alive and kicking. He’s a doctor and I’m sure he stands firm on personal health practices. Folks, our country is in a serious mess. Ron Paul adheres the the constitution and liberty… it is priceless! Your born given rights have been stripped down to bare wire and the government will not save us! Ron is the coach, we are the players, the country is the playing field! Time to start running up the score board! Time to kick some ass NOW!

Yes, run, but do so as a proud Libertarian. After having run as a Republican, you might get the needed media exposure (you are already invited onto popular news shows)and can let the public see there is an alternative to the failures we’ve seen over many year. Take a chance – run, but run Libertarian!

The last thing we want is a third Party that is headed up by someone like Ron Paul. This will only serve to dilute the causes that Ron Paul champions. The Republicans should aggressively focus on finding someone like JFK or Eisenhower (JFK was a Demo but his policies, had he lived, would have been more closely aligned with Ron Paul’s, i.e the silver certificate). Get someone who makes people feel safe by what he stands for. Newt and Rush are piss poor representatives for the Repub Party. We need someone who can help the Repub Party rise above those and the religious right wing without alienating different factions within the USA. A fiscally conservative Constitutionalist with wisdom, common sense and the ability to communicate without coming across as a reactionary.

I am worried since we live in a society that views any form of age so negatively. Look at what happened to McCain because of his wrinkles and benign skin cancer. How do people look back on Reagan because he had age related health problems during his administration.
At some point it would be better for Ron Paul to step aside and pass the torch to someone else. Look at Johny Carson and how he was kept on his show until it was embarrassing. We need to think about how we will respond if that time comes while he is still in office. We need to be ready for his running mate to take the reins.
Maybe that time has not come. But let’s be ready just in case.
Maybe there is no acceptable new torch bearer or running mate. What about his son? I only know about those I would not accept; Huckabee, Palin, and Baldwin. If either could control their religious views then I might reconsider.
Then there are the issues of whether he will want to focus on this. We can’t be selfish. He has human needs too. It is a tremendous pressure that will interfere with his focusing on his family. Isn’t that the reason he removed himself from the run in 2008?

Yes, Ron Paul should run, and if successful, should pick his own running mate. He knows who is worthy of that position. Lots of people who oppose his war policies are ignorant of the causes of war, and the needless lives lost. He does believe is a strong defense, and we sure have made a lot of enemies by our strong arm tactics.
I’m just not sure if he isn’t just too good to run successfully. If he by chance did win, he would sure be a target of our enemies within and without. It’s best to wait and see, but he really is our only hope in Washington.

I would follow Dr. Paul to the gates of hell with a cup of water. He is the most visible and influential pro freedom statesman to be found. He is also well into his seventies and cannot be expected to do the heavy lifting forever. There is going to have to rise up another generation of liberty loving people capable of fielding leadership for the upcoming war to regain what we are in the process of loosing as Americans. Dr. Paul will continue to exert great influence on those who will follow in his footsteps, but now is the time for ALL men to come to the aid of their country.

We’ve already had one Civil War. There will not be another. Support HR1207 as a start. Everyone contact your Congressperson and have them support HR1207. That may be the crack in the armor that is needed. If there is “shifty” stuff going on and it comes to light, then many politicians will not want to be associated with anything like that and they may do what is best for America out of a survival mentality. I’ll take that.

Yea, WW1 was the war to end all wars. History repeats itself. A civil war or basically civil revolt will happen if our government turns against us. (they already have however) I support HR1207 and tell all my friends and acquaintances to get in touch with there representatives we need to get the FED and this is a great start.
There is a movement for freedom and if our government tries to stop us we will not go away, this would lead to a civil war but not like before this will be more like the people against the establishment.

I would love to see what Ron could do to change things. If he was allowed to. Puppets are all we have for presidents. The last real guy was JFK. He was groomed for the position by the elite who thought he was a sex addict and boozer, they thought by these attributes JFK would be easily controllable. They were wrong instead the elite found out JFK was building momentum to expose them by calling on the public and media to expose and thus destroy secret organizations in this country. Because of that they shot him in the head sending a clear message to all Americans and the world of who is really in charge.
This is one reason I wouldn’t want to see Ron run for president I think he scares the elite enough right now if he became president they would kill him for sure.
I would vote for you Ron Paul, I have watched every debate you have ever been in. I believe your integrity and intelligence however isn’t something most Americans want. It’s something they don’t understand, nor do they want to understand the real truth about the puppets they choose.
My feeling is this we bring a real person in that will challenge the system and they die. I don’t want that to happen to you brother.
How about this instead, Texas pulls out of the union (maybe a couple other states) then we elect Ron Paul in Texas as our president, and I move my family to a new free country. (called Texas) Then these elite bastards cannot touch us. Well work together and build something better than the New World Order a government who cares about the people. How’s that sound?
I say let the revolution begin. We really need Ron and people like him, we need to take back our country and if we don’t do it soon we will all be dead.

I do think Ron should run. I like his policies of less government and nonintervention. I expect the percentage to be high on his own website however. I don’t think Ron can ever win the Republican primaries. We need a good third party we can invest our effort in. If we don’t ever get behind a third party we will forever be stuck with the far right or far left.

We don’t need national leadership. 2012 is playing the game strategically on Washington’s terms and we are allowing them to dictate conditions. DC cannot be reformed…ever. I admire Ron Paul as much as the next man but his next responsibility is not only nurturing the CoL but helping usher TX out of the union. It will take one state to get the ball rolling and many will follow into confederations and committees of correspondence. We need to stop pursuing a chimera that will not solve the problem. There is no need to take the throne in DC, there is a need to divorce from it.

Ron Paul is too old to run for President in 2012. He should be on the ticket as the VP and mentor someone to take over his leadership in this freedom movement. This is the best of both worlds Ron’s experience and wisdom to guide an energetic younger leader.

Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich would be the best ticket in terms of integrity/idealogy. But, their chances of winning would be slim to none. Pairing with Sanford would be better but still probably a loser. Ditto for a non-politician such as Bill Bonner. Sadly, the only way Ron Paul will get sufficient support for his solid ideas is if the country has gone to hell in a hand basket. But, we are nearly there already. Leave out religion and opportunistic nuts/airheads like Palin. If evangelists want to vote for Ron Paul, that’s fine but for god’s sake don’t pander to them.

Should Ron Paul run for President in 2012? That depends on the following:
1. Who can best represent the Party as a middle of the road conservative who is not soiled by the divisive trash talk of people like Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh.
2. Who can best bind together all the factions while at the same time enticing Democrats to join with the Repubs. It is critical that we eliminate a solid Demo majority. Ron’s best contribution may be as a spokesman for the Party to offset those who are perceived as “nut cases,” i.e. Rush and Newt. His responses to their statements have been outstanding!!!
3. Unfortunately, who has good presence with the media? Ron Paul did not project well during the debates. He came across as an impassioned zealot which cost him credibility. Mitt Romney comes across as a level headed, clear thinking, business savvy professional who can lead if given the chance. Ron Paul is the one I voted for because I could see the truth in his message. But most Americans do not look deep so packaging is important. Get Ron Paul an image and speech coach and he will do much better. He needs to know when to make his point and then BACK OFF instead of going on and on and on.
4. Get a level headed, financially bright, well spoken VP candidate (Mitt Romney???)and avoid any further catastrophes like Palin. She may be a well meaning and nice person but what a screw up that was on McCain’s part.

I would love to see Ron Paul voted in as our next president, but I am smart enough to realize that its not possible.
I’m afraid we stood by to long and let our Country be taken over by way to many far left big money groups, IE: Big Labor (unions)The main stream media, without the media, no election can be won, Ron Paul will never get the media to back him. Now Obama controls the largest Companies in the world, IE: Wall Street, GM & Chrysler, GE Corp only to name a few.
We will never ever again see a strong Conservative get into the office of President of The United States. We have gone to far to the left and we are under the control of the policies that these people want. We have seen the end of our great Country. We will never be back on tract again. It will not be possible for anyone to pull us out of the massive debt that this administration is building for us.
If there is any hope of even slowing the cycle down a little, its for us to come out as strong as possible in 2010 and get enough seats back that we can stop some of the bills and programs this administration wants to pass. That is the main reason he is pushing this stuff for passage this year. He knows the people will see through this before 2012, but by then it won’t matter anymore, the people will not have the power to stop it. There is no time to play the game until 2012.
I’m sorry to see this Country in this condition, but WE THE PEOPLE have always been just to willing to take another hand out from Gov. It has always seem so nice to help those who wouldn’t help themselves, IE; welfare, SS, Medicare, Unemployment, No border controls, and many many other BENEFITS, we Americans think we deserve at the expense of THE TAXPAYERS. Wake up, thats us. Try to focus. The Gov. has no money of their own, they make nothing, they create nothing, they only consume the wealth created by the working class. If you work for any Gov. agency, IE: State, Fed, or local Gov. you are part of the problem. Gov. has the power to create out of nothing all the money it will ever need to defeat anyone it sees as a threat to its existence. Make no mistake about it, American is finished. Read the last Book of the Bible, it will open your eyes to where we are at in this time in history.

I agree. Americans have had their heads buried in the sand too long and the left has over 50% of the vote. There are more voters on the dole than aren’t. Once they are on the dole, they will never give it up. One of these days they will be asking “What happened?” but it will be too late. I think the country will have to crash and burn before conservatives can gain control again.

IF YOU GUYS WAKE UP NOW WE DONT HAVE TO WAIT FOR 2012 FOR THE NEXT ELECTION!!!!
we need to have a special election wright now because obama is illegally holding office under the constitutional clause stating you must be born in the USA of two naturally born parents.
Obama does not meet that so he will need to be forced to resighn and a special election will need to be held due to the fact that none of his desicions would be valid.

For this to have happened, for him to have been put on the ticket says something else, that our government is corrupt and no longer abides by the constitution and bill of rights. It seems that more and more politicians are ignoring them and just going ahead to do whatever they wish. A lot of them are working on the plan for the new world order that plans to do away with these American documents. They are behaving as if it has already happened much of the time.
People broke off from Europe, had a tea party, a revolution and came to establish the United States to get away from the taxation without representation and the central banking system, the control over the wealth of the people. Both have been reestablished in the United States. Where do we go from here?
I’m glad Ron Paul is bringing attention to these founding documents once again!

If I were a strategist, I would tell him to wait until the 2010 mid-terms. The midterm elections will be an indicator of just how rigged they’ll be in 2012. If the Dems gain anymore seats in either house, its over. Keeping that super majority status away from the Dems should be everyones first priority. You see what they’re trying to get away with now-imagine how emboldend they’ll be with a super-majority. If after the 2010 elections, the Dems still dont have a super majority, then Ron paul can take it home for 2012. However if the Dems get a super majority in either house, we can kiss 2012 goodbye. No sense runnin for office if the fix is already in. Also, I see more Ron Paul bumper stickers up here in CT than I do Chris Dodd or Jody Rell. Dr. Paul has very strong support up in the Northeast. Aside from the fact that Dodd has become a major liability, people in general are fed up with the Dems in this part of the country. Dr. Paul should capitalize on peoples resentment toward the Dems, and highlight his record of honesty and success. We need not “reach across the isle” anymore-the Dems stand in the way of ANY conservative policy. After what they’ve tried to pull in the past 8 months, it shows that they’re only there to stay there. The Dems aren’t there to help anyone but themselves and their freinds. Ron Paul is an honorable man and he will clean up corruption in the government. That Audit the Fed bill is picking up steam and would be a terrific addition to his record. His common sense, alternative approach to situations is what makes him stand out among candidates. He is the only one with the courage to speak his mind and do what is right.

I pray Ron will run again in 2012. I believe the country will be even more ready in 2012 to return to the founders ideals. Once the bailouts fail (as we are already seeing)and American’s are being taxed into oblivion (soda tax, cigarettes, small business) the atmosphere for a TRUE conservative will be perfect.
p.s. I do not include Giuliani, Huckabee, Palin, Romney, etc in the category of true conservative. True conservatives realize the nature of war is to consolidate federal power and has always been the province of democrats.

Ron Paul should definitely run. Even if he doesn’t win (which I hope he does) it would be good to have a voice of reason in the debates, getting the message of the truth out to the public. I haven’t voted in the last few elections because I couldn’t bring myself to support any of the candidates, but I would proudly cast my vote for Ron Paul.
The real questions are should he run as an independent or not, and who would be VP. I’m sure he has a team of strategists who are much smarter than I am that will figure this out.

Yes, he should run for President in 2012, but he has to do it either as an independent or through the Libertarian Party. I remember him saying that it would have been hard for people to know him if he hadn’t run as a Republican. It’s possible that he may face some obstacles as a non-Republican but he has already gained a much wider group of followers. I’m sure he has a great chance if he runs as an independent.

Let’s not self-destruct. The “man” for the job will show. But he has to have certain credentials. I don’t feel his age is a big factor. I feel that we’re facing a situation, “when the pupil is ready the teacher will appear” scenario. We need a man grounded in his beliefs, this country’s basic principals of freedom for all, liberty, the right to pursue happiness. A man with a plan to bring us back to our Constitutional roots. A man of courage and all the embodiments of the Founders. Am I asking too much? I don’t believe so. This is clearly what the country needs to get us out of this quagmire. Who’s in charge here? This administration believes it’s government not us. We need to change their thinking. Have we forgotten we have the power? It’s not them. They have usurped the power from us because we fell down on the job–for years. We are up against a tyrannical enemy, one who will not give up until it has sucked the very lifeblood out of each and every one of us along with this country we live in. It’s happening now. The “snakeheads” in Washington are writhing and squirming their way into every aspect of our lives. Taking over everything. We’re doing nothing to stop them. Just standing by and haplessly exclaiming, “this can’t be happening, not here, not in the U.S.” but sadly it is. The damage that is being done to our infrastructure as a nation is going to be incalculable. If we are to remain “free” we need to stop the damage. We don’t need to draw and quarter ourselves as to who is the right candidate and so forth. We need to put the country squarely first in this mess or We The People won’t count anymore because there will be no country left. I am reminded of George Washington who was thrust into the Revolutionary War, tasked with gathering together and training a ragtag band of farmers, deadbeats, drunkards, etc. and how he had to whip them into shape. He also had to “whip himself into shape” as he was dealt a number of failures but he kept going as he instinctively knew that if he and this young bunch of “ragtags” didn’t learn and learn fast how to win the War for Independence then everything would go down the drain and Ole King George would have a field day with “off with their heads.” And this country wouldn’t be. I don’t believe we have the luxury now of “whipping ourselves into shape” this time around. This time we have cordially opened our front door to a tyrannical bunch of thieves who are doing exactly what bandits do best…stealing everything in sight. This needs to stop and stop now. Time is running out. Get our acts together, fall behind a candidate and let’s win this thing or else…and we all know what the “else” part will be. We have an obligation to the Almighty, our families, our grandchildren, this country. How dare these bastards destroy everything my parents and yours and you and I are still working have worked hard for. How dare they and yet they are. We are up against an evil enemy. Okay, evil is a strong word but guess what, evil is alive and well. You want to see evil look at Al Qaeda. You want to see evil look at the current Obama administration and the corruption and coercion and threats and ACORN and threatening private citizens, etc., shall I go on? brutal enemy. Community Organizers, ah, that has a nice gentile ring to it but when you dig deeper you find the truth. Rules for Radicals, the Communist Manifesto, Marx and Lenin, are all alive and well and occupying the White House. What a stench there must be. This is a war we’re in folks. Alan Keyes knows this. Ron Paul knows this. Glenn Beck knows this. I know this. What do you do when someone has attacked you? You attack back. But you must have a strategy and a plan and plan to win.

What has Al Qaeda ever been proven to do? It is all media. I question anything that the media has put out. Al Qaeda had nothing to do with 9-11. But they were an easy target to blame. Iraq never had weapons of mass destruction. Iran is only out to protect themselves. The women and children that are being killed and sent to horrible refugee camps from Gaza are suffering greatly. The men of the USS Liberty that were killed and injured at the hands of Israel, and the president of the U.S. actually ordering immediate aide to return back to U.S. soil. This left our most technological ship of the time to be destroyed completely and our men to die at the hands of our true enemy. The war on drugs, what a joke! We are our own worst enemies. We can not blame any one else in the world. The U.S. citizens continue to support all this false news. Soon the internet will be controlled and we won’t be able to have these discussions. And is not because of Al Qaeda, it is because of who we elect. It is because we will not stand firm on our beliefs. It is because we sit back and hope someone else will do what is necessary. We are at fault. Look in the mirror and you will see the true enemy.

Al-Qaeda is a terrorist organization that has savagely attacked, beheaded many, many people. Al-Qaeda is our enemy. Yes, it was proven that Iraq did not have WMDs but they did have other weapons to be used exclusively for killing innocents. You talk about women and children being killed and I’m assuming you are talking Arab women and children? Explain, please. You referred to “our true enemy.” Who do you believe that to be? I agree with you about the War on Drugs it certainly is a joke! If there weren’t so many users in all walks of life, etc. there wouldn’t be a need for a War on Drugs so we just keep pouring money down another rabbit hole. And yes, you are correct that the news media is out of control. They have been for a very long time that’s why I go online and overseas for my news because I sure as heck aren’t getting it here.

A terrorist is someone who goes on a foreign land to kill people. When did Al-Qaeda, Iran, Iraq or Muslims come to U.S. SOIL as terrorists? If the U.S. terrorists did not bring their tanks, guns, bombs etc… to their countries they would not feel the need to kill us. They are trying to protect their way of life. We can not judge them. Canada pulled out of Iraq, once they realized that there were lies regarding the killing of innocent women and children. The U.S. convinced Canada to fight the Iraq war in the beginning on the pretense that the women and children were in danger. Under Saddam Christians were free to walk the streets and practice their faith. The terrorist organization called the U.S. of A. has eliminated all hope for many Christians in most of the middle east. The U.S. is in their countries. The U.S. not only supports terrorism, we ARE the terrorists. We have no right to be in any other country to control it’s government or people.
We are the terrorists in our own land. Look at all the innocent children dying at the hands of abortionists. Muslims don’t abort their own or anyone’s children. But, here in the U.S. we promote, advertise and make laws to allow this to happen. Both Christians and Jews believe it is best to kill an “unwanted” child. Muslims do not believe this and will not allow this.
Take a look at what is happening in Africa, Central America, South America and Asia. If we wanted to actually help the world, we would be feeding, clothing, and sheltering these people. Instead the U.S. goes to foreign soil and forces families to leave their homes. Leave their livelihood. All in the name of terrorism. But, not the terrorism that they are inflicting on themselves. The terrorism that we, the U.S., are inflicting on them. Look into what is going on with the women and children in refugee camps. The children are starving and the women have turned to desperate measures to feed their children. Prior to the U.S.’s terrorist activities on foreign soil these women and children were fed, clothed and sheltered. Don’t go to the main media for the source of refugee camps, they only show men in the refugee camps. This is not true. Syria has been suffering greatly with influx of refugees from the U.S. terrorist acts on Iraq.
Again the definition of a terrorist is someone who goes to a foreign land to terrorize the people. This is the U.S. of A. We are not supposed to go to other lands to “prevent wars”. We have no business in any of these countries.
Our true enemy is those that we have placed into power. The bankers, the war mongers, the spenders, etc….
Our true enemy is ourselves because not only do we allow them to be put into power, but we ignore or do not educate ourselves to what is the truth. We are the enemies because most Americans believe the lies or choose to ignore them because it does not directly effect them. Guess what, wake up and smell the “dead” roses, it is starting to hit. It will continue to hit. It will hit even harder than anyone can imagine.
I am going to stay here and fight for what is truly right, and not what the media, etc… wants us to believe. I do read the newspapers from around the world. It is not just Al Qaeda and the middle east that thinks the U.S. is a terrorist organization. Many countries are falling into step with these people.

Today, the 42nd anniversary of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, a memorial service was held at Arlington National Cemetery, sponsored by the White House Commission on Remembrance. (The commission grew out of the non-profit organization No Greater Love; its mission is to provide yearly programs to remember Americans killed in service or by acts of terrorism.)
About 8 Liberty survivors were in attendance and a few dozen friends, family, and supporters.
During the service, the names of the 34 fallen shipmates were read. After each name, a bell was rung at the grave site.
At 3pm, the survivors went to the Naval Heritage Center, which is located next to the Naval Memorial in Washington D.C. and presented a model of the USS Liberty to the Center, which will put it on public display. Rear Admiral Edward Walker graciously accepted the model and said that the Naval Heritage Center is extremely proud to honor the USS Liberty veterans in this way.
At 5pm several Liberty veterans and others went to the White House, where they hoped to give President Obama a USS Liberty hat and USS Liberty jacket with Barack Obama inscribed on the it.
They were not allowed onto the White House grounds and were told that people are not allowed to give presents directly to the president. They were given an address and told that they must mail them instead, which the survivors plan to do.
Some people handed out If Americans Knew cards about the Liberty to passersby and to White House staffers going in and out.
There was very little media coverage of these events. Two radio stations conducted extensive interviews – one from Portland, OR (KBOO) and the other from the Washington, DC area. There was one camera crew from Press TV.
The survivors and families say they will continue their efforts to obtain a full and open investigation into the attack.

I like Ron Paul and his ideas very much. However, I don’t think that he has the “presidential presence” to win an election.

On my reply to the 2012 election, the response of “it depends” is largely due to age, the limits of a two party system (and his favor in the GOP), and the basic ideals and expectations of the Ron Paul camp — without even considering a running mate, etc.
This congressman has been a beacon of hope simply because he addresses the public with substance rather than rhetoric – which makes me believe the commoner (aka citizen) still has some clout.
I am not sure he (or they) could muster enough support from the GOP…though he should have earned the title, “Captain, my Captain”.

Ron Paul has all the knowledge, and information necessary to inform Americans of what is going on inour country, what the consequences of continuing these policies, and programs will be, and what needs to be done to correct them. With all due respect, I feel the impact of Ron’s message would be greatly enhanced if he were to take advantage of professional voice lessons. If he were to hire a professional voice coach, he could, in a very short time, elevate the quality of his voice to match his appearance, intelligence, wit, and demeaner; that of a most impressive President of the United States.
Please do share this with all the people in your organization as it is serious, inexpensive, and can be one of the most effective methods to significantly increase the effectiveness of Ron’s message. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share this with you. Sincerely, Greg Smith
