Ron Paul 2012: When should Ron Paul announce his decision?

RonPaul.com ran two polls earlier this year regarding Ron Paul’s potential candidacy for the presidency in 2012. The first poll ran from February 13 to 23 and the second poll ran from June 1 to 8. The results were almost exactly the same: 93% of our readers want Ron Paul to run for President in 2012.

If Ron Paul runs for President in 2012, when should he announce his decision? As soon as possible so we can all start campaigning (or support another candidate in case Ron Paul doesn’t run), or at a later time (when?), to await further developments and focus on auditing/ending the Fed for the time being?

  1. The sooner the better, in order to re-define and unite the Republican Party. I wrote in Ron Paul on my 2008 ballot, I will vote for him again in 2012 rather than a international bank backed candidate. This nation has lost its integrity through government corruption. Andrew Jackson wisely warned us that the global bankers were far more dangerous than any other threat America faces. Shrinking federal government can be no easy task, but I don't believe any other potential candidate is more willing to do so. Restore liberty and the free market society. Abolish sexist and racist MWBE and Section8A wealth redistribution policies.

  2. I believed then as I do now, Ron Paul should run for president. I also believe that he has to start right away. I love my country, I love my God. I do not want to loose my freedom to love both. Alot of our problems could be worked on by brainstorming ideas, such as a flat tax, accross state insurance purchasing, immegration, drilling, building more refineries that are up to reasonable environmental code, tax incentives for small and medium size business' to get them going again, Import taxes to make imported produces more expensive, thus keeping jobs here at home. I believe alot of things should have and could have been handled differently by both parties. I believe we should fire all and start over again in Washington DC to clean out corruption. We pay them, we should beable to fire them for jobs not done well at all. I love the constitution which is the mustard seed of this country. We came here for freedom of religion. Now, government wants to control us like a herd of cattle..Screw that!
