If a junior senator can become President, why does Ron Paul not have a shot? Because we as people do not control who gets on the ballot? RNC will not have a choice if the MOVEMENT is big enough. It’s time we stop sitting idly, twittering our frustrations and TAKE ACTION. Revolution is a beautiful thing, the time is now. Nothing will change if there is no action amongst the people. If we do nothing, nothing will change and we will still be here 3 years later typing these same sentiments because we are so used to our voices being supressed, being pushed to the side. No more

Ron Paul is my president. I seen an insulting post on face book. It says conservative then they got a picture of Ron Paul. I am center right. I rallied my family and friends here in PA. Made sure they knew who Ron Paul was. News networks didn’t give him fair time to speak. We need Ron for President. I want a president that wants us to have civil rights, smaller govt. And tell the American people the federal govt is incompetent. Thank you Dr. Paul. You are exactly what I am looking for in a leader. If congress can’t get it right, they can all take a hike. Replace them with a Americas that want to
give us are freedoms back. RON PAUL 2012. If the republican party won’t put him on top. I will write him in like last time. Ron Paul for ever

    Let’s get real.

#1. Even if every American wants him as president, he is not going to get on the ballot because they control who gets on the ballot.

#2. I think it is extremely unlikely that there will even be a United States by 2012, at least not as we currently know it.

What we really need to be focusing on is:
Ron Paul for President of Texas 2010!

Everyone I talk to about Ron Paul says the exact same thing: “I agree with all he does, but I won’t vote for him because he can’t win.”

That is absurd! If we vote him in during the primaries, the Republicans will have no choice but to get behind him. The Republicans will do anything to win and RP supporters will do anything to help him win. But Dr. Paul isn’t going anywhere until we get out there and make a solid case for him. We have to take to the streets and tell everyone we can about him. We can MAKE him the most popular candidate, the old fashioned way. I mean, afterall, if you truly believe in what Ron is presenting, the old fashioned way is the only way to do this!

If Ron Paul gets the nomination, we can win this country back. If Romney gets the nomination, we will be sitting here in 2013 complaining about the same old things. So…LETS DO SOMETHING!!!!! I beg you all!

I don’t want to be an old man talking about how there once was this guy who could have done great things for this country. I want to be an old man talking about how this contry almost went to s**t and a great man saved it.

You missed the point. He WAS the most popular candidate in many states in the 2008 primaries and yet he did not get on any of the ballots. We don’t control who ends up on the ballots, THEY do.

Ummm, what are you smoking? What were these ‘many states’ you speak of that Ron Paul “WAS the most popular candidate in’?

Maybe a little fantasy world, but Ron Paul didn’t win a SINGLE state during the 2008 primaries. Get your facts straight:

Poorly worded, I apologize. Let me try again. All of the polls that I saw (that included him as a choice) he lead. All of the polls I saw after the debates, he won. He received more donations from the military than all the other candidates combined. This says to me that he is, in fact, the popular choice of the people. This will NOT, however, get him on the ballot.

Then to add insult to injury, a large portion of the population are still brainwashed by the (supposed) Republican/Democrate two party system that never changes regardless of who is in office. It is quite frustrating for me when democrates blame Mr. Bush for all the nations problems and the republicans blame Mr. Obama. It is very difficult to get people to understand that Mr. Bush = Mr. Obama = puppets, neither of them had/have any real say in the policies of our nation.

… Maybe you need to look to sources other than Ronpaul.com for your polling results.

As for the military donations, who else are they going to donate to? War is an atrocity, but who else are you going to support when you can just join the government machine, playfight, and never actually have to engage an enemy? Of course they support Ron Paul. He just wants to bring them home, have them sit there and suck on the government tit, and let them all sit around and wait for someone to attack us. Not a bad life really? I joined up for a steady paycheck and a fat pension early in life, not to actually go to war!

I didn’t even know about ronpaul.com at that time, but even if I had I would trust it more than anyone else.

Solid. Well, looks like 94% of peeps want Ron to run, so if he does run he is SURE to win!

Make sure you don’t spill any kool-aid while sitting in your bubble, it leaves nasty stains.

I think Matt is just one of those people we call ‘haters’ cus they never have anything positive or useful to say. In general they build their own low self-esteem by tearing down others. It is probably a bad idea to pay much attention to what that type has to say.

Sadly, you are probably correct. What a tragedy for the the great experiment in liberty. I guess people just don’t want America that badly. Having said that, I would continue to put out lots of feelers and try to sense the American mood for such a thing. The first quarter of 2010 is going to be a test as the commercial real estate market tanks…Perhaps if the FED is exposed thoroughly enough Dr. Paul will get the credit he richly deserves. Then a run for Pres would be in order for sure, because he will be the MAN who started the revelation revolution on the FED………Full speed ahead!!

I’m all for Ron Paul, but I may reconsider if Ventura is his running mate. I’m from Minnesota and Ventura was given a great opportunity that he squandered. The people were behind him, he could have really changed things.

If anyone is a true supporter of Ron Paul, please refrain from likening him to God as he is Christian. As for another campaign for the presidency, I support it indefinitly. People may catch on that President Obama does not offer the “change” which they were led to think would restore our nation but just more of the same old policies that Bush gave us. And perhaps at that time, people will wake up and start scruitinizing the canidates and make a well educated decision afterwards.

That is soooo true, but most people still think there is some kind of significant difference between Republicans and Democrates.

Unfortunately, there is rarely a time when voting will make any difference one way or the other. They are going to pass whatever legislation they want to pass regardless of what we or our representatives want.

This gave me a little hope so I will pass it on to you all:
      http://www.taxtruth4u.com/eight%20states.html
Texas also did the same, but it isn’t listed on this list so there may be other states as well. It may be time to start pushing the state governments into pushing the federal government.

Unfortunately, the federal government still holds the our military. Fortunately, that military is made up of our children.

I think now would be a real good time to start excercising our “well regulated militia” right. There may come a time when we need to protect ourselves against our government.

I just got off the phone with Congressman Mel Watts office. I questioned his receptionist why the Congressman was trying to undermine HR 1207 and she went on to tell me “…Congressman Watts wants the Fed to be like the Bank of England.” ACTUAL QUOTE. I told her I guess the Congressman doesn’t like the powers the Constitution afford congress. Unbelievable!

Ron-If you do decide to run…..Watch your back, there are plenty of people out there who DON’T want to see a patriot revolution in OR out of office. They (the immaculate they) will do nearly anything to prevent their “New world order” progress from being interrupted! Having said that, perhaps some oratory practice is in order. after all you will up against “the great orator himself”, however phony he may be!! Gotta project!

    Good luck and godspeed!

    (First, I’m a big Ron Paul supporter. But I don’t think he’s a god.)

Ah, saying “Ron Paul is God” just makes us look like a bunch of nutcases. Lots of people practically think Obama is God too. And yes, that makes Obama supporters look like nutcases too.

And, while the poll is interesting, the result isn’t exactly surprising, seeing it’s taken on a website that supports him. I’d be more interested to see the poll on someplace a little less, um, biased :)

But, for the record, I wrote him in for president, so yes, I’d vote for him if he ran, sticks with his current platforms, and someone even better doesn’t come along (not likely). And if they don’t pick a bozo for a running mate.

If you want to know the truth, study carefully their eyes and body language.Obama eyes exudes a certain shiftiness that often refuse to make meaningful contact with the camera.Note the haughty, aloof arrogance that looks down upon us with neck craned in side way glances. This demonstrates a lack of sincerity

Look Ron Paul in the eye,and what you see is what you get.He is honest and there is no pretense.Who said the eyes were the mirror to the soul?

Ron,go for it.You have the qualities, experience, wisdom, knowlege, courage and big heart. The only thing you lack is the Hollywood pretencious imagery.I think that Americans are rapidly realising the true values of past generations.
