My votes were Napolitano, Chuck Baldwin, Jim DeMint, and Peter Schiff. I was surprised that Debra Medina of Texas didn’t make the list. It doesn’t matter to me that she lost in the Texas Governor’s race… I doubt that Ron Paul would have won that one. At any rate, she’s a quality candidate, and I wish that i could have written in her name.

None of the above. I do recommend two very strong and open governors.

Chris Christie of New Jersey. And, Brian Schweitzer of Montana. Two honest, no nonsense men who could stand up to any amount of pressure. Very strong men.

Seems most of you here do not know much about Gary Johnson, see the videos from Ron Paul Rally http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2EhAVQS2V8 and part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcu8jWD2Qs0&feature=channel

Ron Paul and Paul Ryan. A balance of Youth and wisdom. Paul Ryan will be promising with the economy and he has great recognition for standing up against The Obama Healthcare plan and had proof of why it was and is a bad idea. He also seems to be ethical with is rare in Politics these days.

We need leaders who listen ‘To The People’- NOT celebrity seekers.

Palin!? Really, some of you voters are scary, about a 150 at last count. My choice wasn’t even available. Can’t be any more of a stretch, Pelosi.

Love Ron Paul but I agree that picking another Republican is going to look like and be business as usual. Shake it up!! Lincoln Chafee. Republican values but independent spirit! Or a worthy Democrat who can see the importance of giving the power back to the states and the people.

Ron, Your a Texan, you ever thought of Rick Green?
He got voted out of office for standing for a lot of the same things you do. Of course you know his district was liberal which again says he was a good honest man. Rick would be a good man. He would be an outsider that could reach out to the voters on the fence and also the younger votes.

Yes, to Audit the Fed. Fire or send to Jail the thiefs! They are stealing from us!

Yes, if Heath Care for all?
Let’s make it real…”ALL” means every living person that has a SS card, or in other words, “All natural born Americans”…Dah!

Ron, someone needs to stand up for this thought…
All our federal represention should have all compension voted every two years on national ballot. All present compension would be on the first ballot. I know this is long list. So you need to make it shorter. We Americans are getting taxed to death.

All funds of the Social Security Admininstration need to be paid back. The vote in the 50’s was stealing from the baby boomers retirement help. Ron Stand UP for THIS!
The SSA was not setup to have it’s funds put into the General Fund! If the Government can give Trillions to the Rich Companies of America it just stands out that the Government doesn’t care about Middle Class America, expect we are to be Taxed to Death until we only have the Rich and the Lower Class servants.

Most of our Government is Government for the Rich by the Rich! Let’s get it back to for “the people by the people”. This should be a compain slogan for you!

Let’s bring the awakening public together with the greatest strength – reach across the isle! Dennis Kucinich is the only viable running mate to unite the country. (OK, so he caved in to pressure on Obamacare – perhaps to survive in the party, but he remains the most honest and astute person in politics – but you have to put aside your left / right paradigm way of thinking.) Divide and conquer is going to remain alive and well, and the majority of the American public will remain at odds, if Ron Paul runs with a Republican running mate – business as usual, in spite of the fact that Ron is the most intelligent man in politics, I believe. The only solution is for him to reach beyond the questionable Sarah Palin types, and anyone in politics on the Republican side. Figures such as Alex Jones are not really respectable as politicians, due to lack of experience, and Jesse Ventura is no longer the type – he’s moved on.

Why are people adding Dennis Kucinich’s name here? He is so far away from Ron Paul he shouldn’t even be in this conversation. The reason Kucinich was fighting the Health care bill is that it didn’t go far enough! He believes in more government control than the Democrats do, he is not a liberty candidate by any stretch of the imagination.

Though he has no experience but I think would be an honest persona and a quick learner, I would have liked to have seen Jake Towne listed.

As far as those who say Ron Paul is too old may need to reconsider. If he’s up for it, he should run. Freedom cannot afford another deathblow from the two headed uniparty system.

Sarah Palin??? You mean that woman who cuddles up to the Tea Party while stumping for John McCain? NO WAY!

Replace Sarah Palin with Michelle Bauchman, Michelle would be a great pick.

Michelle Bachman for VP. I read Ventura’s book. The book seems to indicate he supports obamacare. He is out in my book.

if sarah palin, glenn beck and jesse ventura are even IN this poll, and COLLECTING VOTES (!!!), i am obviously on the wrong mailing list… if i want reactionary and unrealistic thinking, i can visit any number of tea party websites.

remember: ron paul as president isn’t ron paul as dictator. he still has to work with congress. he stands for something quite unique and a large part of which is needed, but to this point it hasn’t accomplished much. he’s not john the baptist. electing ron paul, and not pushing the ‘flush’ lever on the entire d.c. toilet, will do little.

successful government in american politics demands compromise.

None of these VP choices are worth a damn. All we’ll get is more of the same. We need a General in there with Mr. Paul.
