Ron Paul to Sunshine Patriots: Stop Your Demagogy About The NYC Mosque!

Congressman Ron Paul today released the following statement on the controversy concerning the construction of an Islamic Center and Mosque in New York City:

Is the controversy over building a mosque near ground zero a grand distraction or a grand opportunity? Or is it, once again, grandiose demagoguery?

It has been said, “Nero fiddled while Rome burned.” Are we not overly preoccupied with this controversy, now being used in various ways by grandstanding politicians? It looks to me like the politicians are “fiddling while the economy burns.”

The debate should have provided the conservative defenders of property rights with a perfect example of how the right to own property also protects the 1st Amendment rights of assembly and religion by supporting the building of the mosque.

Instead, we hear lip service given to the property rights position while demanding that the need to be “sensitive” requires an all-out assault on the building of a mosque, several blocks from “ground zero.”

Just think of what might (not) have happened if the whole issue had been ignored and the national debate stuck with war, peace, and prosperity. There certainly would have been a lot less emotionalism on both sides. The fact that so much attention has been given the mosque debate, raises the question of just why and driven by whom?

In my opinion it has come from the neo-conservatives who demand continual war in the Middle East and Central Asia and are compelled to constantly justify it.

They never miss a chance to use hatred toward Muslims to rally support for the ill conceived preventative wars. A select quote from soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq expressing concern over the mosque is pure propaganda and an affront to their bravery and sacrifice.

The claim is that we are in the Middle East to protect our liberties is misleading. To continue this charade, millions of Muslims are indicted and we are obligated to rescue them from their religious and political leaders. And, we’re supposed to believe that abusing our liberties here at home and pursuing unconstitutional wars overseas will solve our problems.

The nineteen suicide bombers didn’t come from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iran. Fifteen came from our ally Saudi Arabia, a country that harbors strong American resentment, yet we invade and occupy Iraq where no al Qaeda existed prior to 9/11.

Many fellow conservatives say they understand the property rights and 1st Amendment issues and don’t want a legal ban on building the mosque. They just want everybody to be “sensitive” and force, through public pressure, cancellation of the mosque construction.

This sentiment seems to confirm that Islam itself is to be made the issue, and radical religious Islamic views were the only reasons for 9/11. If it became known that 9/11 resulted in part from a desire to retaliate against what many Muslims saw as American aggression and occupation, the need to demonize Islam would be difficult if not impossible.

There is no doubt that a small portion of radical, angry Islamists do want to kill us but the question remains, what exactly motivates this hatred?

If Islam is further discredited by making the building of the mosque the issue, then the false justification for our wars in the Middle East will continue to be acceptable.

The justification to ban the mosque is no more rational than banning a soccer field in the same place because all the suicide bombers loved to play soccer.

Conservatives are once again, unfortunately, failing to defend private property rights, a policy we claim to cherish. In addition conservatives missed a chance to challenge the hypocrisy of the left which now claims they defend property rights of Muslims, yet rarely if ever, the property rights of American private businesses.

Defending the controversial use of property should be no more difficult than defending the 1st Amendment principle of defending controversial speech. But many conservatives and liberals do not want to diminish the hatred for Islam–the driving emotion that keeps us in the wars in the Middle East and Central Asia.

It is repeatedly said that 64% of the people, after listening to the political demagogues, don’t want the mosque to be built. What would we do if 75% of the people insist that no more Catholic churches be built in New York City? The point being is that majorities can become oppressors of minority rights as well as individual dictators. Statistics of support is irrelevant when it comes to the purpose of government in a free society—protecting liberty.

The outcry over the building of the mosque, near ground zero, implies that Islam alone was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. According to those who are condemning the building of the mosque, the nineteen suicide terrorists on 9/11 spoke for all Muslims. This is like blaming all Christians for the wars of aggression and occupation because some Christians supported the neo-conservatives’ aggressive wars.

The House Speaker is now treading on a slippery slope by demanding a Congressional investigation to find out just who is funding the mosque—a bold rejection of property rights, 1st Amendment rights, and the Rule of Law—in order to look tough against Islam.

This is all about hate and Islamaphobia.

We now have an epidemic of “sunshine patriots” on both the right and the left who are all for freedom, as long as there’s no controversy and nobody is offended.

Political demagoguery rules when truth and liberty are ignored.

I want to thank you for your comments on religious freedom and the Park51 Community Center. At a time when many politicians are engaging in fear-mongering and scare tactics, your words reinforce that we are all entitled to the same American values, regardless of faith or ethnicity. As the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) recently indicated, the rise of hate crimes and discrimination against Arab, Muslim and Southeast Asian Americans are on the rise, which is alarming. It is through tolerance and understanding that we will unite and move past the hate crimes and violence. This can be achieved through leadership such as yours.

  • Ateeq

I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for standing up to the truth even when the truth is not popular. May God help you and give you courage to continue the good work.

  • the Dood

    This is true:
“you cannot generalize from one group of terrorists who attacked us in the name of Islam to all of Islam.”

    This is also true:
    “Yes you can”

What is the context? Do Muslims all support terrorist attacks? No.
Would they support attacks legitimately defending Islam? Yes, most likely they would.

Does Ron Paul himself generalize the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as wars against Islam? Yes, and this is the problem I have with him. It is a political position based on anti-Bush (ie, neo-cons) rhetoric which is not based on reality. If the Afghan war is a war on Islam, then why build mosques in Afghanistan and assist the Afghans in creating an Islamic country with an Islamic constition and Islamic laws? Why assist Shia religious leaders in Iraq under the banner of an Islamic constitution?

    • fred the protectionist

Because to the Libertarian Atheist, “my enemy is your enemy,” is Christianity.

  • This one takes it. You Mr. Paul could be one of the dumbest son of a bitches I’ve ever encountered.
    A) Nobody has said or implied that Islam itself is solely responsible for 9/11. No one has said or implied that the 19 hijackers spoke for Islam, they spoke for radical Islam. The same way radical Islam is responsible for 9/11, not Islam as a whole. I listen to conservative talk radio, read conservative columns, and go to conservative websites, not one of them has solely blamed “Islam” as the problem, it’s always predicated by the word “Radical”. I don’t know how someone with a Dr. in front of their name could be so stupid. But wait… is it that you are an idiot or do you have your own agenda and narrative you’re trying to slyly convey. I’ll get into that a little later.
    B) Conservatives down the line have said that the people who want to build the mosque have every constitutional right to do so. Once again not one Conservative has said they don’t have a constitutional right to do so “Mr. Constitution”. What we are saying is that it’s insensitive to put a mosque 2 blocks away from one of our darkest days perpetrated by 19 men who attacked us in the name of Islam. Secondly we’re saying that the Imam involved has said some very disgusting things about our country, who won’t classify hamas as a terrorist organization, and won’t tell us where he’s getting his funding from. Are you aware of the Holy land Foundation and their convictions of funneling money to terrorist organizations. How about CAIR named an unidicted co-conspirator in the same case. That’s the largest Muslim charity and the foremost Islamic outreach/Public Relations organization in the country with ties to terrorism. How about the Virginia Mosque down the road from the White House that had Anwar al-Aulaqi spiritual mentor of the Fort Hood shooter and the Christmas day bomber also attended by two of the 9/11 terrorists. Mosques can be breeding grounds for terrorists we know this, it’s not some huge secret. We need to know who’s funding them and who’s going to run them. Not for nothin as my friend mario used to say many mosques are built at the sites of Muslim victories.
    C) The Neo-Cons are behind it, that’s code for the Jews are behind it. Which leds us to the real reason you’re taking the side of the people behind the Ground Zero Mosque. Neo-Cons just happen to be comprised of a lot of people from the Jewish faith. The Kristols, Paul Wolfowitz, Elliott Abrams, Podhoretz Jr. and Sr. ect. I think we’ve all come to know how you feel about the Jews, you are an anti-semite. I don’t say that lightly and I hate when people throw around charges of racism but it’s become just to obvious. I urge anyone who doesn’t believe me to read Dr. Paul’s Newsletter he used to put out. The columns don’t have bi-lines but it doesn’t matter he wrote some of them and if he didn’t he condoned what was in them. Read them and you’ll be enlightened. So it’s a double wammy, Islamists hate the Jews, Neo-Cons are comprised of a lot of people of Jewish faith so Neo-Cons are behind all the hate mongoring and Islamaphobia as a political tactic. How you’re still in congress amazes me.

    • Bribo McBain

You’re calling Dr. Paul dumb because you say that no one has implied that the 19 hijackers spoke for Islam in your first paragraph, and then in the second paragraph you say: “What we are saying is that it’s insensitive to put a mosque 2 blocks away from one of our darkest days perpetrated by 19 men who attacked us in the name of Islam.”

I think you are confused. If you wanted freedom then you would listen to what Ron Paul says and agree with him. The problem is, people like you are scared of freedom. You’re scared of the truth. And so you revert to contradicting yourself while swearing over the internet, which is pretty weak-minded all in itself.

Also, your bigotry and prejudices come out when you start categorizing people and blaming things on Jewish people, which is so far removed from any rational argument and is nothing more than conspiracy talk. And we all know only crazy people speak of conspiracy theories…crazy, paranoid people.

Do us a favor: don’t vote. You’re not smart enough and you’ll only continue the damage.

      • Mark

Bribo McBain. You just twisted the mans words and showed you lack of comprehension. Even tho the 19 terrorist do not speak for all Islam, they did do it in the name of Islam as their leaders have said. What part of that don’t you understand. I will give you an example: When the President any President speaks for America he doesn’t speak for all Americans, because all Americans do not always agree with what the President says. Begreifen ? Erfassen? Verstehen? Understand?

        • Bribo McBain

Learn to spell, buddy. That’s part of composition and comprehension class. And yes, when you act in the name of something, people interpret that as “speaking” for that particular cause. You may be one small voice in the crowd, but you’re still speaking for that cause. After all, religion’s only voice is the people themselves. So yes, I do understand, or in your words: “You twisted the mans words and showed you lack of comprehension.” I believe you meant: “You twisted the man’s words and showed your lack of comprehension.”

Now, exactly what was your argument for backing Carlos up? You probably don’t have a valid one since there isn’t a valid argument out there. Unless of course you’re going to pull out the race or religion card and start placing people in groups. That’s a typical thing for small minds to do.

      • I think you might be the one who’s confused, I didn’t blame anything on the Jews like congressman Paul does. I defended the Jews. It’s Paul’s conspiratorial view of the Jews I disagree with and his anti-semetic writings in his newletter.

      • Well Mr. McBain I don’t get where you think I’m being a bigot towards Israel or Israelies. I was defending Israel against people like Ron Paul, so I think your the one who’s confused. I consider myself while not being Jewish, a Zionist, being a Christian first and an American second. I think the people on this site think that calling someone a Zionist is a pejorative, I don’t. The term was created by Jews.

For the record I also consider myself a Neo-Conservative with a dash of Libertarianism, a dash of Paleo-Conservatism, and a dash of Classic liberalism.

I’m also for auditing the Fed. I believe that we are a Christian nation, we should send the National Guard to the border and I’m a first generation American of Mexican descent. I believe Obama is a Marxist, straight up along with many Democrats. I believe Marriage is between a man and a woman. Abortions only in the case of incest and rape.

Finally, to everyone who reads this, go buy “The Looming Tower”, it will show you in great detail why they want to kill us and it’s not for the reasons Mr. Paul sites. Ask yourself if Israel put down all their weapons today and America pulled out of all Islamic countries, Israel would immediately be invaded. Now flip it around if the Palistinians put down their weapons along with hamas and hezbollah, there would be peace.

    • TruthSeeker

Response to Carlos Aguilar. First I will not use offensive words to assassinate your character like you tried to assassinate Ron Paul’s character. There is no point of these blogs if everyone is going to enforce their views through profanity and offensive language. For the record, I am not defending Ron Paul but I will defend some of his ideas. How interesting and convenient that every time someone implicates someone who happened to be a Jew is compulsively attacked as anti-Semite! This is childish and unwarranted. This must phase out of our political dialogue or we will be captive forever to racial tantrum. I am going to outline my response without the essay style:
      1. Hamas is a threat to Israel not the US.
      2. Israel is not the US ally. This is a long lived myth that must come to an end.
      3. 911 was a false flag Mossad operation that stole Muslim identities which has been disputed by Jewish analysts and investigators. Those definitely can not be called anti-Semitic although will be called by ADL and AIPAC self-hating Jews. For more on this see Dr. Alan Sabrosky, Dr. Albert D. Pastore research on 911. I included a link to Dr. Pastore’s research in my previous comment.
      4. I am afraid that you are wrong on the fact that all who oppose the ground zero mosque are clear on the difference between mainstream Islam and radical Islam. In fact some of the big players behind this ground zero mosque hoax are known to have collective views of Islam and they know of no difference between the two like Pamela Geller known as the Queen of Muslim Bashers.
      4. There is a difference between a Jewish American and a dual citizen American who is known to have Zionist loyalty to the State of Israel. This may pass as trivial if the person is every day average citizen. By the way, it is against our immigration law to have dual citizenship. However, if the person is a key political in the US administration or our system of government, the situation can not be taken lightly. What you refer to as simply Jewish figures are top echelons in our government and they are hard core Zionists. For a partial list of such figures and their backgrounds, please see Dr. Albert Pastore link in the previous comment.
      4. I am amazed too that Ron Paul is still in Congress because our Congress has been occupied by Israel and if the American people do not wake up, then our entire nation will eventually be annexed to Israel just like the Palestinian occupied territories. Having said that, I salute all Jewish figures who are true Americans and who put their loyalty to the US first and I salute all Jewish groups that rose above the creep of racism and spoke loudly for justice like Dr. Sabrosky, Dr. Chomsky, Dr. Shahak Israel, and groups like the Natura Karta and many I can not list as there are so many of them. Loyalty to any nation can not be trusted if there exists another competing loyalty to a different nation. Conflict of interest is an old concept in philosophy, law, and even religion that has been ignored by the foreign lobby controlled government of ours. It is time that we make up our minds: either Americans or Israelis. Period.

      • Classic anti-semitism, you’ve proved my point. You threw in the 9/11 conspiracy and Chomsky, textbook.

        • the Dood

Yes! A true antisemitic. Just like Noam Chomsky, he supports a two state solution instead of the clear Semite way which is absolute support of the true Jewish state of Israel to expand into the heathen and unchosen’s lands. Israel is a democracy after all which means freedom to be Jewish and nothing else, so duh!

Being against Isreal then means antisemite which is clearly what anyone who opposes Israel or shows any ounce of support to its enemies is. But they hide their antisemitism, veiled under the guise of “peace” and pointing out what they consider bad state policy and bad shit that democracies shouldn’t do. Why don’t they just come out and stop pretending to be rational, level-headed people and just fess up to being antisemitic?

      • By the way I thought you Paul supporters we’re a little more thick skinned than that. What with all the disruptions you guys always cause. It’s a revolution right? Son of a bitch isn’t really that bad is it? And didn’t I come back around on the “dumb” part? I made the point he was slyly being anti-semetic. Read the guy’s newsletters back in the 80’s. This has been a common theme with this guy.

      • Where to start, because it’s almost as if you are living in a parallel universe.

To you point that hamas is not a threat to the U.S., remember the Iranian backed terrorist group is dead set on eliminating Israel, the “Little Satan”, so who’s the big Satan, the U.S., so once they’re done with Israel it’s on to the big Satan, America.

Your paragraph on the Mossad was so incoherent that I don’t know if you’re blaming them for the attacks on 9/11, but that’s la la land. You’ve left the reservation if that’s what you’re suggesting.

The main players behind the anti-mosque movement are the families of the victims like Deborah Burlingame, fire fighters, police officers, and just your average citizen like me. Remember 70% of New Yorkers are against this. New York isn’t some kabal of Islamophobes being it’s one of the most diverse cities in the country.

As for being annexed by Israel, once again you gone off the reservation. All we do is protect the only true friend we have in that area of the world, it’s just that simple. They share our love for democracy and what’s amazing is that some people think a country that could fit in lake michigan has so much power. They are obviously a part of our foreign policy and if you want to be just strategic about it, isn’t it good for us to have an ally that has nuclear weapons in that area or where we can deploy from.

Bottom line, if we fail to defend Israel what does that say to our other allies.

  • Thomas

Thomas, unless you were a Native American then you yourself were integrated into the American society.

Actually , I am pretty much pure Scottish and proud of it . Every place on earth has changed hands numerous times . It is not more right that muslims colonize America than for England to colonize India. The difference being that
deomographics are on the non-white side and whites bring civilzation and development . Non-whites trend to bring their third world ways .

Also your comment about Muslims immigrating to the west being unnatural is mind boggling, American is not a “White” country. After reading your words I am assuming you are a closet white supremacist, you know the kind that hides his/her opinion in public but is actually filled with hate.

    * yawn*, I’m sure your mind is boggled . You hate whites and the white supremacist thing is very very tired . You sound like a leftist dupe head and maybe you are a closet gay .

Thomas, America has no room for racist bigots, this country was founded on principles far greater then you.

    * yawn again * the racist bigot thing is even more tired now that you spewed it .
America was founded as a white European nation and there is nothing wrong with that .

There is no room for people who hate whites as they would like to see us become a displaced minority in the nation our fore father built .
Have you heard of David Duke ?
You could learn much my tired racist shrieking friend . and frankly I do not really care what you think or what names you call me , because you are probably a closet gay boy . Now go shrieking some where else .

  • Ron Paul is merely echoing the anti-American propaganda of the leftists and liberals to topple America and destroy its founding spirit. America is not an empire. It never occupied a foreign territory. Sure, it invaded my country Philippines but it left. America had no intention to occupy the Philippines. In fact most Filipinos should be very grateful for America for saving the Philippines from Japanese occupation. America waged a wrong war against Vietnam and then left the country. Again, it missed the wrong target after the September 11 attack when it invaded Iraq, but America then pulled out its troops and gave what the liberals and conservatives call “democracy” to the savages there.

Ron Paul firmly believe that the terrorists are motivated by the so-called historical crimes of America. This proves that he also shares the sick mind of Noam Chomsky, who has been spreading Anti-American propaganda and helping the cause of America’s ideological enemies. Yes, both Ron Paul and Noam Chomsky are America’s most useful idiots!

It seems that Ron Paul is not really listening to the “hate speeches” and anti-American slogans of the terrorists and their sympathizers on American soil. They said they “love death and the Americans love life!” They said they wanted Islam to dominate the world and impose Shariah law. In Iran people shout “Death to America” every Friday as part of their Orwellian “two-minute hate”. They said they all wanted to kill all “infidels and destroy Western Civilization” because that’s what their prophet commanded them to do.

Indeed, if Mr. Paul is very much familiar with the history of and the principles held by America’s great founding fathers, he must do a Thomas Jefferson. Ron Paul must cure his Islamic idiocy and clarify his perception of reality by getting a copy of the Koran. This is exactly what Thomas Jefferson did.

    • Mark Fey

Of course, I was not there, but it is my understanding that when the US wrested the Philippines from Spain they were determined to stay. Imperialism was high on their list of “favorable” attributes at that time.

Brave Filipinos fought the occupation and showed every sign of making this a costly venture. The US marines performed horrendous acts and war crimes of every description in an effort to break the Filipino will to have a free and independent nation.

Certainly, Douglas MacArthur was not a humanitarian. First governing as a despot and then fighting to return the Philippines to the leash by defeating the Japanese.

Historical change and different attitudes towards empire: plus the price that the USA was forced to concede it would bear eventually led to the reluctant release of the Philippines to an independent state. Even then, the transition was so poor that their political condition was terrible, and it cost them dearly.

I am amazed by your post on several scores, but this dereliction in reading the history of American adventurism on these islands is very sad.

    • When you use the term Neo-Con the true Neo-Con does not take it as a pegorative. We consider it a compliment, it provides clarity where in politics clarity is lacking. As for blather, stop biting off of O’reilly.

  • TruthSeeker

Thank you courageous Senator Paul for standing out. Courage is not to utter what the majority of the people like to hear. Courage is standing up for what is true, right, and just. For all those fooled conservative Christians who are turning into Zionist converts, I say to you that if Christ was for flattering the majority of the people, Christ would have never been a significant one. Christ was always for the broken wing, for the meek, for the sick, for the poor, and for the disfranchised. The Kingdom of Heaven he called for was the kingdom of humanity which makes peace among the people based on truth and justice. Have you searched the truth and found out who was behind 911 before you condemn all Muslims for doing it? I say that because the moral of your story is to stick and re-stick the Muslims for doing it again and again so that the warlords and global neoconservatives can soften you again for another military strike while at the same time put you under anesthesia for another tax money robbery. Let the war machine spin faster…grind faster…and swallow faster so that you naive crowds succumb to the destruction of your nation. The Hell with our economy…the hell with our jobs…the hell with our education and schools which continue to shrink…the hell with our dollar which continues to inflate…the hell with our health care which is turning into insurance industry feast. We do not have enough money for any of that, but we have money for wars and bailouts to the predatory elite which got us in trouble in the first place. We have time to protest the ground zero mosque, but we do not have time to think, research the truth, and protest the satanic forces that have been unleashed on us until we are all dust. It is a shame that the greatest nation in the world is the becoming the fair game for the satanic forces from within. Go no far and search no far. The enemy is right here at home. Find out who was behind 911 first and come back and protest against the Muslims:

    • David

      Hi TS:

Well, with all reference to any form of religion aside, and i do understand and respect some of your views on this as well, you do state the problem very succinctly in that the Banks who have established complete and total power over America’s currency, economy and political system, needed to create a long, drawn out and expensive war in order to create more debt so that they could finally consume the last remaining vestiges of prosperity which existed here and try to establish their final objective of complete and total ownership over America and over its population for themselves.

For anyone to assume that they were not complicit in all of this in some way shape or form would be extremely foolish. It seems that by now the vast majority of the population they have been attempting to enslave has figured this out and as i’ve said before and Ron Paul has alluded to, this entire mosque issue seems to be a last ditch, desperate attempt to distract the population from finally getting rid of them and taking back our country for ourselves, as they have already determined they need to do.

I guess if were going to use Christ as an example in this, then we need to look at the instance where he took a stick and drove the money changers out of the temple which is exactly what we need to do today. Once its done i think everyone will be absolutely amazed at how very few problems we have and they will each have a shot at their natural right to the pursuit of happiness with a standard of living 30 times what it has ever been in the past, which is also their right, as we are entitled to benefit from the full measure of prosperity which we are capable of creating for ourselves, which is also necessary to the enjoyment of all of the other freedoms on which America is established. For those who say no way, well, with 5/6ths of our productive effort always having been consumed by banks in one way shape of form and with our actual productive capacity always having been restricted to less then 1/5th of what it should be due to a shortage of currency created by the same banks to trade for it, this comes out to a factor of 30 and can only increase geometrically from that point on.

It is sometimes good for us to hate, good things are accomplished by good men and women through the hatred and destruction of the evil that prevents them, so direct that hatred toward the parasite which would try to get you to hate something else in order to distract you from destroying it before it consumes you completely. Once the evil is destroyed then only love can remain. Christ hated the parasite too and as a person who comes from a place where they had already achieved the final result which they are trying to accomplish here, i hate them as well, completely, totally and absolutely, just as everyone should as they all have good reason to.

      Here’s the stick:

Everyone grab hold of it, follow the instructions underneath, drive the money changers from our Country and if enough of you participate, then you will finally know the America which its founding fathers intended it to be. It will be a place of absolute freedom, great peace and happiness, with rich and abundant prosperity for all, so far beyond anyone’s comprehension that the best of what we’ve experienced so far will seem as the dark ages in medievel Europe by comparison. Just as it would have naturally become without the existence of the parasitic infection which has been consuming our productive effort to keep it from it from being so. No one but the parasite has any incentive to make it otherwise.

    • Mark

TruthSeeker, Open your eyes. The truth is that the majority of Muslims were in the streets dancing and celebrating the 9/11 terrorist. They the U.S. they hate the Jews and they hate the Christians. Oh the most likely hate you too. The same people who are now champion the Mosque and calling for religious freedom are the same who are offended by a cross erected along side a freeway in remembrance of a fallen Highway Patrol Officer or the cross erected in memory of those who perished fighting for freedom in WWI. Why are there hearts so full of hate for Christians?

I watched the man behind this mosque smile and try to make people think there was no where else they could build. That is a lie and he dose not own the whole piece of property. That’s lie number 2 and the interviewer did not bring up the fact that the Governor was willing to help find a more acceptable location. This is salt in the wound and a monument to the Muslim terrorist.

In order for evil and its followers to succeed good people have to do nothing. So if good mu slims do nothing as they are, then they are no better than the terrorist.

      • TruthSeeker

Mark, I would like you also to open your eyes and heart and do your own research instead of living into your little tiny circle. Be like Socrates. Be a hostage for the truth, not a hostage for emotional volatility. The dancing Israelis were not just expressing their feelings about 911. They were caught up with box cutters, maps of the city, camera images of the towers, and evidence of explosives that are enough to bring down a whole tower down. They were impersonating Middle Eastern men when they turned out to be Mossad agents. They tried to mislead the NYPD by making a fake phone call while they were heading in the opposite direction. Thank God the NYPD were smart enough to seal off all major pathways to the bridge that was going to be blown up too. Open your eyes my friend and be an independent thinker instead of judging a man who was smiling at you for being ridiculous when you were trying to override his constitutional right. The least he could do to you is smile at you because if you were a law-abiding citizen, you would have stopped right there. Imagine if a Christian fanatic were accused of bringing the towers down, and a group of Christian community decided to erect a church in the same spot, could you imagine all other communities going out of proportion and protesting the church building? Why we continue to practice exceptionlism the Manifest Destiny type? Is that American? My problem is not so much with the ground zero mosque in as much as it is in the political implications behind it. I care less if a ground 1000 mosque was erected there that is higher than any building. It is the vile and malicious exploitation of the event to serve the agenda of the war machine and diversion from the awaking of the people to the truth of our condition. We have been lied to about the war in Iraq; the war in Afghanistan, the bailout, the health reform, and now someone is lying about Iran. They want to us into war in Iran at all expense. They care less if your son and my son is the next recruit for death. They care less if your tax dollar goes all into the Pentagon and the intelligence community so that the oil industry, the private contractors, and the military-industrial complex, and ultimately the banker’s societies who finance the entire above can steal your money and drive you out of existence soon. This is the diversion of the truth that is behind the ground zero mosque hoax which you should pay attention to. This is a war against the American people not against the Muslims of NY and their Cordova Center! We are tired Mark of being balled around. We are tired of lies and deceit. We are tired of being used and abused. We owe it to ourselves and to the future of our generations to wake up and become independent thinkers, not merely mainstream media junkies who are unable to assimilate the truth. The White House, the Congress, the main media whores, and every presidential candidate so far have all been accomplice to our misery. The bad news, there is no way around it. The good news, it can be done. Taking our country back is not from helpless minorities. It is from the bastards up there who played us fools all along and they are determined to establish the New World Order where only the rich and the elite can roam our streets.

        • mark

TruthSeeker you are absolutely full of shit. There are not thousands of Mossad agents but there were thousands of Muslims rejoicing in the death and destruction. I happen to know several engineers and they disagree with your uneducated and perverted perception of the truth. There are none so blind as those who will not see. There are none so deft as those who will not listen. Churches are denied the right to build on a regular basic my friend. For as little as one person in the neighborhood complaining about the increase in traffic. The difference is they respect persons right and build somewhere they are not rejected. You have no compassion or respect for those who lost loved ones on 9/11. If you hate this country move to China see what kind of rights you have there.

[ Explain to me Fred how you can generalize 1.2+ billion people? ]

    yup 1.2 billion . That is a lot !

Now call me a neo-nazi , if you must , but, I have my thinking cap on and I’m not so sure I like the numbers.

With rapid muslim immigration in to most western nations and given the birth rates , I’m not so sure I can support any more muslim immigration at all . I mean I kind of like it the way it was before .

I believe that I have a right to my freedom of association and I prefer my own people thanks or at least that they are not overwhelmed in their former nation , Now , this is NOT that I wish any other people any harm .
I do think that I am so much of a realist that I might get called a neo nazi , boo hoo , even by some ” conservatives ” who don’t seem to care about conserving what they should hold most dear .. that being their heritage , their blood/ dna and their history and culture . Nation comes from the latin term natal , which means by BIRTH !

    • You don’t have your thinking cap on, you have a little tinfoil cap on waiting for little green men to come down and save you from the Jews and the Neo-Cons. TruthSeeker you need to get some professional help, I wish I was joking.

The very much abused phrase ” melting pot ” has been used fat too aften in a departure from reality .
In the very real world it is difficult to assimilate differing European nationals into America . For instance after more than a century there is still a balkanization of Italians just as one example with little Italy’s in most many major cities , and Italians are pretty closely related to Christian Eoropeans in general .

To live in some sort of leftist utopian dream world that would see to it that a huge influx of muslims , who are like oil to euro vinegar , are going to be assimilated is like a dream that surely WILL become a nightmare. In the history of the world very differing peoples do not assimilate , they just tend to be in conflict when forced together in one nation , until the nation inevitably breaks up that is ( yugoslavia etc etc etc )

Wake up kiddies as one poster succinctly put it !

    • Gary

You are right about the melting pot. The biggest blocking point about the melting Pot is our own government. They have many divisions with race and religion by using political favors for groups to appease their ballot box on Election Day. They have encouraged groups to resist assimilation in order to have political strength and gain entitlements for their own agenda. The day must come for every citizen to call their self’s Americans instead of using sub titles. When that day comes this country will be complete and stronger.

  • Gary Chambers

Your opinion and libertarian view why the New York Mosque should not be opposed will get you plenty of Muslim votes. You put hate of Muslims as the main cause. You expressed that the terrorists of 911 were mostly from Saudi Arabia and not from Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iran. Mr. Paul, it’s not where they are from but it’s what they are. They are the tools of Islam. If you would take the time to read their instruction manual (the Quran) you would know why they want to build the Mosque at ground zero. They have said that America will be dominated by Islam because our constitution will protect their cause and will eventually be the very instrument that will allow Shari law. I know you will say that it could never happen in the United States of America but all you have to do is look what has happened in Belgium, Spain, France and England.

  • jw

Paul’s got it right. This should really be a non-issue.
Remember we are a MELTING POT that includes people that are muslim. What ever happen to freedom of religion?! – and property rights for that matter. What are some of you afraid of?

Hey Ron, your proctologist called. He found your head.

  • Larry Ruggiero

Mr. Paul criticizes those who, while supporting the Constitutional right of Muslims to build the mosque at ground zero, express the desire that Muslims build it elsewhere.

A real libertarian would welcome the healthy debate on this issue that the First Amendment permits, and leave it at that.

Mr. Paul’s name-calling and attacks on assumed motives shows he either doesn’t understand the Constitution or can’t accept what it means.

  • jack ryan

I confess that I was once a “Libertarian” in my 20s. I was attracted to the positive program of “liberty” – where individuals weren’t divided in to groups, where the largest group/mob abused the smaller groups, abused the rights of individuals to live free lives.

I’m now 47 and have been in the real worlds for some time. In the real world, there are different groups, one very large group are the world’s Muslims 1.5 billion of them. It is just a fact of life that these various types of Muslims have different culture, laws, loyalties than most Western people – Europeans, Americans etc.

It is just be naive to think that 9/11 or virtually the entire history of Islam against the West is a big “misunderstanding” – or all our fault for being mean and discriminating against Muslims.

Was the sack of Constantinople just some “misunderstanding” – something to do with too much government regulation.

This Mosque at Ground Zero is sponsored by something called “The Cordoba Initiative” – Cordoba is a city in Spain where for 700 years Muslim Arab Moors occupied Spain. This choice of the name “Cordoba” is deliberate – puts out the message that the Muslims – in this case Arab Muslims are looking to colonize, rule over America the same way they did to the Spanish from Cordoba Spain.

Can folks here not understand the insult, the message?

Yes, I agree with Ron Paul – the US should stop these Neo Con wars in the Middle East, Asia and leave Muslims alone in their existing countries.

But, we must end all Muslim immigration in to the West. Muslims have never lived in peace with non Muslims in the same country, society. Ask the Armenians, Serbs, French Pied Noir, Hindus etc.

    • Mark Fey

      Great Jack,

Let’s ask the Serbs how to behave as a society… They certainly are worth emulating! LOL!

The French in Algiers, were great role models as well… Let’s see they colonized over 130 years and took the traditional leadership of the society out of the country. They treated the country as if it were backwater and then mistreated the native inhabitants. Good teachers these Pied Noir!

  • leciat

yeah ron has it right, it is we ignorant infidels that are to blame for terrorism…rauf is right we have more blood on our hands then al qaeda…america is the great satan and along with our evil jew owners is responsible for all the evil in the world. muslims blow up everyone all over the world because america is ignorant and evil

  • David

I’m just wondering how much attention the Ron Paul supporters who are arguing this issue are actually paying to what Ron Paul himself is saying on this.

In terms of the topic itself he said “Stop Your Demagogy About The NYC Mosque!”. In terms of the issue he said “It has been said, “Nero fiddled while Rome burned.” Are we not overly preoccupied with this controversy, now being used in various ways by grandstanding politicians? It looks to me like the politicians are “fiddling while the economy burns.”” Then “the fact that so much attention has been given the mosque debate, raises the question of just why and driven by whom?”

Are those debating this issue indeed doing as the politicians and “fiddling while Rome Burns” ? We have it within our means today to take back control of our political and economic system from the Banks who have used their power over our currency to attempt to reduce us under absolute despotism. This is something which absolutely every American can contribute towards, something that the entire population understands desperately needs to be done and will support and something we have a unique opportunity to make happen while we still can to our own benefit and toward the freedom and security of every generation to come.

Instead i see christian, jew, moslem, atheist and agnostic arguing until they are blue in the face over this, accomplishing absolutely nothing, changing no ones opinion nor will any of this have any effect whatsoever on the eventual outcome of the matter. Whatever will happen with it will simply happen and whatever does happen will be of absolutely no tangible consequence America, nor the freedom and prosperity of it’s population.

What is the point people and what is all this “fiddling” supposed to accomplish ?. Why not put all of this effort into something real and tangible that we can do for ourselves and our Country today ?

    • David

Good, good, good, were getting some positive responses on this. Anyway, here’s something everyone can do, i think James and myself have come up with the simplest and easiest possible way to take back our economy and political system for ourselves.

The solution is here, and the instructions on what to do with it below that:

I think i can promise that if enough people participate in this effort it will work and negate the power which poses a threat to our existence today and do it very quickly.

I’ll simply ask that everyone take a little time out and help us get this into distribution so it can work, and then hopefully we can all stop worrying about it and get back to other things.

      Thanks 🙂

  • Thomas

We live in a world that has narrowed our choices to such a degree that it is totalitarian .

People talk about the very real condition of moslims/chinese/african not integrating . Guess what ? That is good ! If they integrate then you will have become more like them . Your culture will have been changed !

People talk about how we must guard our freedom and we must ! Ron Paul is a giant amongst midgets on this and many other issues …

But , here is the key ….

Muslims should not be immigrating to western nations ! It is unnatural ! It goes against human nature and nature itself . If Christians were over taking muslim countries with immigration that would be a disaster in the making and it would be wrong .

You can only have a western free nation if it remains populated by western peoples . You can talk about freedom all you want but if the majority of your population does not values freedom then your freedom is doomed !

Grow up kiddies , It would be really nice if every nation shared your values but this is the real world and people who have come from thousands of years of eastern societies are not about to change their default cultural attitudes !
Lefties are child like on this subject and it pains me to see so many conservatives following suit .

    • Yousef Abed

Thomas, unless you were a Native American then you yourself were integrated into the American society.

Also your comment about Muslims immigrating to the west being unnatural is mind boggling, American is not a “White” country. After reading your words I am assuming you are a closet white supremacist, you know the kind that hides his/her opinion in public but is actually filled with hate.

Thomas, America has no room for racist bigots, this country was founded on principles far greater then you.

    • David

Well as i’ve said before, the mosque issue doesn’t interest me much, but what i’m finding interesting here is the almost equal number of positive hits on these two opposing opinions.

I suppose if i am to define what in my opinion makes an American, it would be a firm and sound belief in the principles of individual freedom, equality, and justice set forth in America’s Constitution and Declaration of Independence. I don’t see how race, religion, country of origin or any other factor can even come into play with this.

I have a friend of Mexican ancestry, who has been a US citizen for a great many years who brought his mother here from Mexico to live with him and his family. The old woman was well into her 80’s, she had permanent resident status and would have been just fine with that, but she was determined to become an American citizen before she died. Somewhere during the course of the interview for her citizenship, she was asked if she would be willing to go to war in defense of the Constitution of the United States. Her response to the question was “Yes i Will”. That Ladies and Gentlemen is an American and it is for all such Americans that i would gladly lay down my own life in defense of the freedoms they hold dear. Anyone not prepared to commit to doing the same, in my opinion, is not an American and does not belong here, regardless of any accidents of birth which may be involved.

The first amendment of our Constitution states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. This is not only a guarantee to freedom of religion, but also a guarantee of freedom from religion. Almost every religion which has existed in the course of human history, including many of the common abortions of Christianity, in direct conflict with what they claim to believe, has practiced mass genocide at some point or another on order to try and establish itself as the only religion with absolute power over everyone and they are all guilty. So, not so much different from America’s banking system or any of the other crazed lunatics seeking absolute power and control over everyone else. It’s all just different clods of sh*t which have come out the back end of the same goose. The Constitution while guaranteeing the free exercise of religion, with the same words also prohibits any exercise of any religion against those who don’t agree with it and i think that this is the more important function.

  • ThinkingStraight

I made a comment about Timothy McVeigh being a Christian terrorist, and after a little thinking I’ll take that one back
See for a thoughtful discussion on the topic.

Instead lets use Eric Rudolph who definitely WAS a Christian terrorist. My point remains the same: you cannot generalize from one group of terrorists who attacked us in the name of Islam to all of Islam. You can’t even use Saudi Arabia or Iran as good stand-ins for the vast majority of people in America who follow the Quran.

    • fred the protectionist

“you cannot generalize from one group of terrorists who attacked us in the name of Islam to all of Islam.”

      Yes you can

      • JE

ummm there are over 1.5 billion Muslims, I’m pretty sure if they were all terrorist we wouldn’t be alive today. So Sure you can generalize because we live in a Free country, but to use that FAKE generalization to keep the Mosque out is ludicrous.

      • Yousef Abed

Explain to me Fred how you can generalize 1.2+ billion people? If that is the case I could generalize every group of human beings on the planet. Stop spreading your anti-American communist/neo-Nazi propaganda.

      • Libertarian777

        are all Russians spies then?

        • Mark

Libertarian, Your comment is akin to apples and oranges. If all Russians knew or know who the spies are, then answer would be yes.

    • Mark

Radical Islam is the face of all Muslims. The reason I say this is because when the so called good Muslims sit back and do nothing they are just as bad as the ones who commit the terrorist acts. It is not any different than the equal rights movement when so called white people sat at home did nothing while blacks were being discriminated against. If the whites didn’t speak out against racism nothing would have improved. The only thing we would have to show for it would be more graves.

In order for evil and its followers to succeed good people have to do nothing. So if good mu slims do nothing as they are, then they are no better than the terrorist.

      • Eli

What should the average Muslim be “doing” to prevent terrorists groups that also claim to be Muslim and why should they be under any more obligation than you or I to stop them?

        • mark

I didn’t say they had to stop them. They need to speak out against it in large numbers. They have to say this wrong they have to educate their children to except that people have the right to be different. We try to do that here in America and we have made great progress but we still have long way to go. i have seen Muslim women on youtube proudly displaying their children saying death to the infidels. They need to stop teaching their children to . Could you imagine teaching American schools teaching death to all Muslims.

The only way to stop them is know who they are and what they are planing to do. That should be the duty of everybody regardless who they are.

        • Seno

          To Mark,

Just to share you the facts that Americans understandably have been missing out due to US media’s “finite” bandwidth (about the rest of the world including moslem’s world).

I’m a moslem living in Indonesia where about 200 millions non-Arab moslems of its 24o millions citizen live. Yes, we are, in fact, the largest moslem country in the world. Islam came to the region through peaceful inter-continental trades with (also non-Arab) Indian and Chinese moslems.

Almost 10% of our people are Christian which, by the way, brought to our country by the Ducth’s centuries of bloodsucking colonialism. This fact does not, in any way, demote our fellow Christians’ role in all aspects of our livelihood.

It is not that there is no inter-religions tension whatsoever in our society as we also have bigots on both sides. But to say that moslems do not speak out against redical Islamist and terrorism by mainstream is just inaccurate.

We despise radical Islamist so much that suicide bombers’ body remains had been rejected to be brought back and burried in their hometown cemeteries. Most if not all prominent home-grown terrorists had been executed or gunned down by our anti-terror agency by the help of our people. You might also like to know that our moslem clerics along with their international counterparts had ruled terrorism as un-Islamic and considered the act a capital sin since long ago.

And it is not that we draw the line to show our sympathy or sensitivity to our Western brothers and sisters (mind you, as also true in Indonesia, most radical Islamist victims throughout the world are moslem) BUT it is simply because such destructive and brutal act is factually and clearly condemned in Qur’an by God Himself (not our exclusive God but, as moslems believe, the One God of Christian (the Father) and of Jew and even of all monotheistic religions as referred to as The Creator of Universe).

If you so kind enough to spend your precious time to get information about the true teaching of Islam from the genuine source (Cordova Foundation is clearly a good place to start with), you would certainly find that the religion is so ethically strict that even how a moslem fights his/her battle is regulated.

It is, again, understandable that the citizen of such a great nation as the US should miss out the less than grand realities of the worlds beyond its border; not to mention the poisoning of the agenda-driven US media coverage where you undoubtly got those dramatic images of those moslem women proudly saying death to the infidels.

Oh yes, I saw those similar images just hours after 9/11. BUT, I right away see the irony there. Those women you saw might just be those Palestinian widows who not only had lost their husbands but also their sacred possession of homes by the Israeli settlement. I also strongly suspect that they were merely peasant people who might never even digest such an education considered basic in your world.

All that they might know was that they had been suffering sheer injustice and nobody in the world seemed to care. And they did not have to be rocket scientists to realized that the US is to blame for impotent UN resolutions against zionist misbehavior.

So I understand their ignorance as I understand your obliviousness. But you are the one who have every resources in the world to find the unconvinient truth; that there is an evil force working behind the scene.

May God bless Mr. Ron Paul with health and long life so that I got to see him as the President of the US. Amen.

P.S. The Chinese Moslem who brought Islam to Indonesia happened to be the man said to discover America long before Columbus did, Zheng He.

      • TruthSeeker

“Radical Islam is the face of all Muslims???????????????????”
Great Mark! Following your line of logic, by extension we could also say the following:

Radical Christianity is the face of all Christians.
Radical Judaism is the face of all Jews.
Radical Whites are the face of all Whites.
Radical Blacks are the face of all Blacks.
        And so on. Why not?
Eventually we will have a world full of wars, hate, and tension.

        • mark

TruthSeeker you should be known as lie spreader. Again you did not read what said, instead you twisted the words. It’s has become clear you lack basic comprehensions. You are trapped in some fantasy world you make wild accusations about things of which you have no idea. You must have been dropped on your head as a child numerous times. Read your own post you blame Jews and everybody else. You have no proof of anything you have said. I guarantee that the media world would be reporting the facts that you claim to be true. They would never let it go and would go out of their way to blame Bush and the United States. You spew nothing but lies and belong in a mental institution.

      • TruthSeeker

Mark, this is what you wrote in whole:

“Radical Islam is the face of all Muslims.

So if good mu slims do nothing as they are, then they are no better than the terrorist.”

The key statement in your post is the first sentence…”Radical Islam is the face of all Muslims.” Am I lying or making things up? All you did is gave an explanation of why you think so, which explanation did not hold water. Your views in essence are exactly those of others in your camp which is trying to say the same thing you are uttering: that all Muslims are radicals because Islam itself is radical and there is no difference between Muslims. It is similar to the logic of “kill them all and let God sort them out.” You did not rectify what you said. If you think you made a mistake or mis-stated what you meant to say, then say so and it is over. I judged your views; I did not judge your character. You did the opposite. Your character assassination style is well-known to most of us when someone like you becomes bankrupt of reasonable argument. If I were to stereotype you, I would see you fit perfect for a Zionist Jew or Christian who is defending the State of Israel and continues to bash anyone who is trying to point out that 911 was a Mossad conspiracy. After all, it was not my idea to advance that theory; it was the idea of many independent Jews whom I must respect for standing out for the truth. If you simply disagree with that and you have a counter argument, then come on with it. If you do not, then stop acting like a child with tantrum when she does not get what she wants. You might be a nice person in life, but your style is definitely rude, abusive, and out of whack.

        • Mark

Here is your problem you take one sentence out of a paragraph. Without the whole paragraph you miss the meaning. Let me break it down for you. There are approximately 2.1 billion Muslims in the world. That is 2,100 million (2,100,000,000) people I have not seen millions come out and denounce the actions of the terrorist I have not seen thousands, I have not seen hundreds nor have I even seen dozens speak out against these terrorist.

Taking that into account they either agree wholeheartedly with the terrorist or they care nothing about anything that happens to non Muslims. I have seen them on the internet and TV rejoicing the 9/11 attract. Thousands of them from almost every Muslim Nation.

Unless the so call good Muslims stand and speak out they are facilitating the Islamic Extremest. As I said: In order for evil and its followers to succeed good people have to do nothing. So if good Muslims do nothing as they are, then they are no better than the terrorist.”

Their lack of respect for the non Muslim dead and compassion for those who survived and those who lost their loved ones speaks volumes. Your claims that 9/11 was a Mossad conspiracy is ludicrous. As for character assassination you are a pro. You even attacked George Washington’s character a man who has been dead for two hundred years.

It has become oblivious that you will never find the truth because you can’t get past these conspiracy theories. I absolutely do not believe in fight in the name of any religion. Any one who does is a fool. if there is a God he does not need help from man to do any thing. Also in my opinion I believes that forcing their religion down your throat makes it a false religion. I do know in the Bible God wants you to come willing lee. I don’t remember any religion I’ve studied but Islam that believes that. I do know that man has committed atrocities in the name of every religion both current and ancient.

      • TruthSeeker

By now I must be feeling guilty that most of us are missing the point on this blog. The point is that by hashing and re-hashing the subject, we are all falling into the trap of diversion. Our problem is not the ground zero community center (mosque). We have hundreds of other more important issues that we could be talking about and investing our time and energy in discussing. The fact that we are not is a saddening one. However, as last word on the subject, I would like to say the following:

If we want the Muslims to apologize for 911 and respect the victims feelings by withdrawing their planned project we must first prove that they (the Muslims) did 911. So far we have an official story that took us by the shock and owe which we all experienced and had not a chance to assimilate the facts. All serious attempts by the 911 truth movement to investigate the truth were thwarted and diverged. Many of the victims’ families went public and protested the willful cover-up. There are thousands of questions about 911 that have gone unanswered. The answers to those questions are either destroyed evidence or classified intelligence information that we are not allowed to see for few decades to come. Some people think it is just convenient to forget about the whole thing and just believe the official story. Sure if that is the end of it. The fact though is that 911 never died out. We continue to live it and re-live it in various forms of aggressive and unjust wars, in form of deteriorating economy and grand theft bailouts, in form of infringement on domestic liberty and civil rights. 911 has changed all of us and made us suspicious of one another. It fostered hate, division, and fear among us. It continues to drain out our energy in useless debates like the one on this forum.

How could it be fair if one of us is accused of committing a crime, and others continue to demand a confession of him and apology when he did not commit the crime? I see the ground zero hoax as a manifestation of this scenario. We are basically saying that Muslims did 911, that all Muslims must come out, admit guilt, and apologize for doing it on behalf of the ones who actually “did it.” Even further, we expect all Muslims to stay in their closet forever and live in fear and intimidation. This is flat out outrageous. This is nothing short of oppression. Yes I do believe in accountability, respect of others, and justice. I even call myself as well as all humanity to stand up for what is just and right even if that goes against one’s own interest. So if you want the Muslims to do what you expect them to do, then PROVE FIRST THEY DID 911. We are innocent until proven guilty. This is the spirit of our law and the fabric of our morality.

As for conspiracy theory intimidation propaganda, call it whatever you want. Conspiracy is a term we use in our courts everyday to say that someone willfully plotted and schemed a crime or a violation. “Theory” is another word that we heavily use in science and most of what we claim to know today is called “scientific theory.” The funny thing is that the official story of 911 is nothing but a theory…a very flawed one. If someone in authority is accused of plotting the crime, we become too hesitatant to point it out knowingly that out political history is full of people who committed crimes and schemed them. We have scandals of treason, espionage, murder, blackmail, theft, embezzlement, and you name it all the time. The ones who want us to blind fold over that are the true enemies of the Constitution. In fact the spirit of the Constitution is nothing but to protect against the tyranny of the government. Please hear it loud: NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. No one can walk away scot-free if there is a reason to believe that he or she committed a crime. The fact that someone is in office or has a badge is not a bailout from accountability. In sum, I say this is our problem in America. We let so many wrong things overtake us and subjugate us to increasingly worse conditions because we never challenge the assumption that the government can do no wrong. That got to stop if we expect any meaningful change. Thank you all and I hope this will be my closing statement on this forum reagrding this issue.

Why was his post hidden? To deny what the Quran teaches is being foolish. Paul, don’t preach to me about what the amendments say when the amendments are controlled by a lefist aclu and socialist dominated congress and house. You can sound logical but miss the target. Islam is a political tool to bound people to a radical ideology of Mohammad. One fellow on the board said our God is the same. No HE’s not. My God has a Son named Jesus. Allah is not my God. I thought Paul was against abortion. Is that sensitive Paul?We conservatives allowed that issue to become a non issue. Look where it got the unborn child. In the hands of leftist atheist and other unrepentant sinners. InThe womb of the Arab man and woman was born a religious zealot with the murderous intent to force the world into submission, and his legacy still enslaves the minds and souls of millions. Don’t tell me about fighting for freedom when the muslims allows the imans to rule over their families without impunity. Look at the facts not idealogy. It’s not Islamophobia that
s the problem. It’s the reality of what they allow in their countries…leaders and Imans….and the lack of humane justice. You want to win elections Paul? Then talk straight and quit lecturing about the idealogies of amendments and the constituion. We have already lost that war. The ACLU rules this nation thru courts and judges. We all lost when we did not stop the killing of the unborn child and push the aclu into the sea! good day…
I rewrote to correct some words.

Jim, I doubt you have ever in your life picked up a Quran, stop spreading messages of hate because of your own shortcomings. Your thinking is not only dangerous to Muslims but also dangerous to all Americans.

Although you do have a point with the Imans ruling over families that is no different then the Right-Christian Evangelicals that worship their pastors.

God gave you a brain and gave you the ability to learn, you should be educated yourself and forming your own opinions not spreading hate while sitting behind your computer screen.
