Ron Paul discusses the potential merger between NYSE & Deutsche Boerse, the Federal Reserve and his subcommittee’s role.
I wonder why people carry around that fallacy where there has to be government relations between countries for there to be peace. We can all just trade with each other and have all the reason to keep the peace because we straight up benefit each other from trade. Trade barriers are isolationist.

you are morally bankrupt
Now providing these countries with foreign aid, that empowers dictators. Tax money taken from the American people is given to countries all over the world (think Egypt, most of Africa, so on) which is given to these governments and inevitably fuels bureaucracy and war machines while hardly any goes to the people. Again simply trading with these countries is quid pro quo, giving a reason for the people to like us. Dictators be damned.
Utterly ridiculous, putting up trade barriers with countries with dictators only impoverishes the people, often creating a more extremist environment while empowering the dictator because now he can point to us as a reason for his peoples impoverishment. Free trade with everyone (saying you're trading with the dictator is just stupid) helps promote peace and gives a reason for the people of these countries to cast doubt on their leaders, who can provide them with nothing.
hopfully things will workout and ron paul is president end the fed and make equil and fare trade with other countrys= 0 dedt

like US ?
i agree with u veradinx, there is a big and i mean a big difference between supporting a dictator and doing free market trade with one, for ex. when u bought ur soda at store like walmart and the distributor hit a child in his past are u supporting a child hitter or free trade of products and currency. U cant avoid bad people when u buy ur shit everyday but u can certainly avoid supporting them
I have no respect for Erin Burnet, she's another former Goldman Sachs thug!
trading with a dictator is supporting a dictator
- Obama supports countries that torture; GW Bush and Dick Cheney support countries that torture, as evidenced by Cheney's comment that Mubarak is a 'good man'. Ron Paul wants free trade with countries who also want free trade, he does NOT want to create and prop up dictators like Mubarak as our previous presidents have done. Your 'question' was not only ignorant but a typical leftist maneuver to deflect people away from the real issues. Try again.
Ron Paul supports countries that torture?
