Leave the Middle East, and all other Nations that are agreed to be sovereign, ALONE with regard to DOMESTIC AFFAIRS.

    American Lives are NOT toys.

Yeah, you have to understand almost half of Ron’s VERY active online supporters are to extreme. But you can’t judge Ron for it. His voting record is the holy grail of constitutionality. He is the best thing to happen to America since the revolution. He has turned so many lost head toward liberty. I thanks him, as a christian and a future intellectual. If you don’t support Ron Paul, you should rethink it and do some research you just might save our country and yourself from apologizing later.

Yes because a bunch of people (most of whom are more pro-life than whites) with a different color of skin, passing an imaginary line are SOOOOOOO dangerous to families (obvious sarcasm.)

I think it’s great that Ron Paul was open about the roots of liberty in Christian thought. Christians make up a very large constituency, especially in the Republican Party, so if he wants the nomination, he is wise to talk about it — best of all, he’s tolerant enough to not offend atheists or believers in other religions.

I’m an atheist and former devout Catholic and I too am surprised to hear Ron Paul be open about his religious views and how they inform his poltical views. It is a pleasant surprise and the fact that Ron Paul has the respect to keep his religious views out of the political arena and instead chooses to stick to liberty, freedom and mutual respect which underpin christianity anyway; just makes me repect him even more. Ron Paul seems like the last man left in US poltics

Agreed, gotta love Gary North. In fact Jesus used what were once common sense economic principles to demonstrate God’s just law. Socialists often conflate charity with forceful wealth redistribution while conveniently ignoring the constant biblical admonition against theft. The Bible is replete with references to free will, tempered by the non aggression principle . One exception to what you say could be Romans 13.

This was really fascinating to hear Congressman Paul talk about how his religious views inform his politics. I’ve never heard him speak about this. Of course… You could agree or disagree with his politics; You could agree or disagree with whether one should consider religion/values when voting. Most politicians wear their religion on their sleeves as a badge of honor while Paul doesn’t do this. This was really different for him.

I don’t see how someone who reads the Bible, doesn’t come up with Libertarianism as their belief set

He has a brain the size of Texas. Could you even image Obama to talk 5 minutes without two ghostwriters, a teleprompter or a script? This guy is in his md seventies. Ridiculous that there even is an election. Dr. Paul should just be the president.
