$242 billion for interest on monies we should be printing directly? Let’s start by firing the Federal Reserve, then without their printing presses running 24/7,
we wouldn’t be able to spend all of these excess dollars.

cut that military budge by 400 billion $s no problem. 350 billion to defend the usofa should be more than enough.

Slash Defense to 1/6 of it’s current budget, then eliminate Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid altogether. That remark that these programs “take care of themselves” is absolutely inaccurate.

Entitlement debts are spiraling out of control. As a result America’s real debt obligations total about 65 Trillion dollars stemming primarily from Social Security and Medicare. These programs, along with massive military spending are simply unsustainable.

1.5 Billion a week in Iraq? 2+ Billion/week in Afghanistan? new weapons technology isn’t the problem …. Destroying Muslim countries then rebuilding all their infrastructure and attempting to install governments that we can control in there ..that the population of those countries hate makes up the bulk of our 700 billion dollar “defense” budget. And now ofcourse Libya , Yemen and Wherever else we meddle in currently , it all must end Neo Cons and Democrats alike must b stopped.

Ron Paul is a NATIONAL HERO.

Everything he predicted in 2007 came true, and at the time he was laughed at.

Sooo good to see BOTH PARTIES actually standing side by side. Only Peter DeFazio could do that.

Right, the polls that aren’t favorable to Ron Paul and it means that there is a conspiracy against Ron Paul. But the ones that do show him as the favorite, and they must be right. That’s called CONFIRMATION BIAS.

But I know better, mainstream independent voters are not Austrian Economics Libertarians. Why don’t you take a look at the polls where majority of Americans are in favor of raising taxes on the rich and are in favor of Medicare/Medicaid – something ron is against.

You are wrong. Ron Paul has won the last two CPAC Presidential straw polls. The polls that the mainstream media have been showing don’t even include Ron Paul, because they’re trying to snuff him out, just as they’ve always done. Last year, in a Rasmussen poll, Ron Paul was dead even (42% to 41%) with Obama. No matter how much the media tries to silence him, he IS and will continue to be a force to be reckoned with. Ron Paul 2012!

Ron Paul 1488 made himself unelectable by accepting a campaign contribution from the Stormfront White Nationalist Community. I will vote against him in the primary because we need to un-elect Obama (who also consorts openly with racists and anti-Semites, e.g. Al Sharpton) and Ron Paul will not be able to do this because of his acceptance of Stormfront money.

Hold up, you’re a LIberal so you think that there will be enough other LIberals to give Ron Paul a real chance to win the Election and execute his Foreign Policy which most Liberals are in favor of?

Boy you are a Talking points machine. Have you looked at the National Polls lately? Ron Paul is way at the bottom of Republican candidates to take the white house. but i get it, the trend now is that it’s cool to jump on the Ron Paul bandwagon & support a Republican who isn’t for war.

The problem with Libertarianism is, that those who endorse it like Ron Paul still want a world of Law & order, where things are still civilized and problems are just taking care of themselves, and we have this great place of “Freedom” in a Techno-Industrial Capitalist World.

It’s bullshit, I agree with you. Why not admit that there will be chaos and go in all the way, take up a Anarchist position of no Govt. and stop pussyfooting around with slogans like “freedom & constitution”.

I agree with Ron Paul’s Foreign International policy 100%, but I am concern with his economic strategies to solve the economic issues in this country. He is the only hope republicans have to win back the White House. I am a liberal individual who likes Ron Paul’s Foreign policy enough to vote for him in 2012. We need to move from both parties and start looking elsewhere.

lol at libertarianism, ‘i recognise that government is evil, but I don’t have the balls to fully carry my principle through and admit that all government is evil, so I endorse this ‘minimal slavery’ ideology to make myself feel better about my ideological inconsistencies.
