Religious differences have caused tensions throughout history. You really don’t need to read anything to know why “Radicals” of any religion would hate those of differing faith. I never said anything that implied the contrary.

I honestly don’t understand how anyone can believe the United States “invades” countries for oil. You need to stop watching “Jesse Ventura: Conspiracy Theories” and start living in the real world.

We do all the time. Darfur, Ivory Coast, etc. We only help where there is oil or some other interest the Government has.

Hm? I’m not arguing for the validity of Islam. I’m merely putting forward general Islamic consensus, that is, according to what I’ve read of them. Personally I’m not a man of any faith.

“The Hidden Iman is the Jesus to Muslims.”
Well, if you mean that metaphorically, then yes.

The Qur’an recognizes Jesus as a prophet of God, and that he performed miracles by God’s will. They differ on the history of it, and on whether or not Jesus was God’s incarnation.

By the way, iman means “faith” in Arabic. An imam is the Islamic equivalent of a priest or monk.

like i said. Cowards always have an excuse. Go ahead and pretend that none of this is our problem. If we just ignore everything will be alright.

Ron Paul is a coward. I dont care how many this pisses off, because they are probably cowards to. How many dollars were spent and lives lost fighting Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan? Was that wasted money too? How many times does this nation have to get hit before it realizes that hiding will only keep you safe for so long. By the way, Afghanistan is a war whether this pussy wants to admit it or not. I garentee the first time a Taliban round goes past his face he would come to terms with it……

Who are you to say Ron Paul is a coward, based on what exactly? Because when we go to war he wants the backing of the American people, the Congress, a legal Constitutional declaration of war. He isn’t backing away from anything at least that is not I a perceived in that address to the Congress. The fact that Ron Paul isn’t salivating to go to war shows he has balls, it takes guts to stand up against warmongers and the status quo.

You think standing up for the liberties of the American people and for Constitutional law for 30 years shows a lack of character, a lack of courage? I think you are confusing cowardliness with humility and a strong conviction of right and wrong and the reign of Constitutional law over the country.

If a situation like what took place in WWII arose again and the people were behind a military action to stop it I truly believe Ron Paul would go to war.

Why don’t you look into WHO FUNDED Nazi Germany. Look up Brown Brothers Harriman & company. I’ll even make it easy for you, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_Brothers_Harriman

Golly, look at some of the names associated with that bank. Prescott Bush, hmm, Bush, that name sounds familiar, it’s George Sr’s dad. Look up the name Warburg.

Here is some more info: http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Politicians/Bush_Nazi_Dealings.html

Certain family names keep popping up when you do research on big banks. Pull your head out and LOOK. Start following the trail, it’s there. Take note of names like Bush, Warburg, Kuhn Loeb, Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan and many others.

These guys FUNDED Hitler. So don’t give me that, we saved the world from Nazi bs. Yes we did do that, but HOW did it come to be IN THE FIRST PLACE?

      Educate yourself.

American and British bankers did fund the Nazis, who never would have attained power without that help. The Nazis ran for political office twice (1928 and 1932) receiving 12% of the vote in 1928, while falling to 8% in 1932. They were in serious decline, the German people didn’t want the Nazis! The Bush family (who were bankers, railroad owners, and weapons manufacturers) is infamous for supply Hitler with 3.5 million firearms in 1932-33, to arm his storm-troopers, who incited the violence which became the excuse for Hitler seizing power to restore order. Like a big time Mafia protection scam on a national level.

It is equally important to note that American and British bankers funded the Soviet Union too. This was a backward, 3rd world nation in 1920 that was defeated by little Japan in 1906 and Germany in 1916 (WW1). The Russians only became the enemy when they reneged on their promise to allow Rothschild in, secifically, to give Rothschild exclusive control over the nation’s money supply, ergo, defacto control over the Russian economy.

        Really, it’s true!

Ever wonder why Russian communism is so bad… Cuban communism is so bad, BUT Chinese communism is not bad at all, infact, please make all our goods for us, commie friends!

It is because China made a deal with Rothschild, while Russia, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lybia all told Rothschild to go pound sand. See the connection yet to this LIE about national security. More like the House of Rothschild’s profit margins to me.

Why argue about all this? What will be the end result? Nothing.

    Welcome to Rome, yr. 476.

July 4th, now a day to mourn what has been lost in America.

It may well be the beginning of world war. May be that is why he is touring our neighbors? In south America? Not for just trade? So far the United Nations have called the shots. Using our forces. Unless our Congress steps up and dose something this may be what the future holds. The New World Order.

    You tell em Ron!
Obama is behaving in the same manipulative fashion as the child who, knowing beforehand, that he won’t like the response of one parent, decides to getr approval from the parent he knows will agree; however, it is not he U.N. that he swore to uphold. He swore to uphold the Constitution. Point blank!

Neither he, Hillary or any other self appointed God (which is how they’re behaving) has the right to sidestep Congress; and Congress needs to man up.

…The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war. The resolution was passed by two-thirds of Congress, overriding a presidential veto.
