I am libyan and I love RON PAUL. My family used to me political exiles from libya and my father was kicked out of the country for creating profit. I wanted a no fly zone but I agree with ron paul that obama should of talked to america and the congress.

you’re right about that. it was a clue of what was possibly to come when they murdered him on the spot when he surrendered instead of putting him on trial. things are more unstable there now than they were before he was killed. who knows what sort of whackos are going to come out of that country over the coming years.

There’s nobody in this world that could possibly attack us today… we could defend this country with a few good submarines. If anybody dared touch us we could wipe any country off of the face of the earth within hours. There wasn’t a single American killed in Libya… the USA was gathering info with drones and bombing from 30,000 feet. Then they backed off and let the others handle it. Britain and France didn’t have good enough equipment to esablish the no fly zone or something they needed the US military’s superior technology/planes. I love RP on some issues but here he’s dead wrong. Saying “Gadaffi was a bad buy but…” is the same as saying I don’t care if he commits genocide on his own people.

the Welches’ don’t seem to understand Ron Paul . His principals are clearly stated in his campaign speeches but they don’t hear him. You didn’t hire him, you can’t fire him. You also underestimate his base. the 15% you speak of is just the ones that were allowed representation. what about the unnumbered Independent the disgruntled Democrats?

In 1953 Libya was the poorest country in the world, and b4 we started this bullshit with them they were the richest country in Africa, they even had a better standard of living than Russia. Before Qaddafi the the literacy of Libya was about 18 % now its around 84%. Qaddafi nationalized Libyan oil so the people of the country would gain wealth from their natural resources. Qaddafi was no dictator, he was a real leader for his people. RIP Qaddafi
