Congress focused on issues surrounding government spending this week as talk of deficits, the national debt, and the debt limit saturated the airwaves. This is a positive development. In years past, there was very little concern over how much was spent here in Washington, how it was spent, or how much of our gross domestic product was being consumed by government. That blissful ignorance naturally resulted in decades of government spending with impunity, bringing us to where we are today: trillions in debt with astronomical entitlement obligations that will be impossible to fulfill in the not too distant future. So it is a good thing that there is so much political pressure now on our leaders to actually put the brakes on runaway spending.
However, even the most generous estimate of the spending cut passed this week – $38.5 billion – is a paltry 3.5% of the $1.05 trillion in spending through the next 5 months. This hardly makes a dent in our government’s mountain of debt. Even worse than that, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) stripped away the accounting sleights of hand and scored it as only $352 million in cuts, which works out to less than half of one percent of spending. Still, the tiniest cut is better than the massive increases we have become accustomed to in federal budgets.
Of course, our disastrous wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are not even included in this budget as they are considered emergency spending. They constitute $3.3 billion in spending in the same period of time, so they more than cancel out any small cuts the warmongers may crow about.
I voted against the legislation funding government for the remainder of this year, as well as next year’s budget because, as in years past, government spends far too much on unconstitutional programs. In spite of any rhetoric about fiscal responsibility, a point three percent (0.3%) cut does not suddenly make the rest of the spending constitutional or responsible. And, if the American people do not continue to hold the politicians’ feet to the fire, you can be sure we will see massive spending increases again in the future.
In addition to Congress’ spending, many Americans are finally paying attention to the spending done by unelected banking cronies at the Federal Reserve. Recently the Fed was forced to reveal some details of loans given out during the financial crisis of 2008 and they are truly shocking. Matt Taibbi points out in a recent Rolling Stone article that two very well-connected Wall Street wives got together and formed a real estate investment company that garnered $220 million in so-called “loans” (free money) from the Fed. Compare this number to the $352 million in spending cuts the CBO says are in the current budget! A few months later, one of the wives bought a $13.5 million personal residence with her husband, the CEO of Morgan Stanley.
The unelected, unaccountable Fed hands out as much or more money this way as our federal government spends, and yet receives hardly any attention. This is why I believe transparency of the Fed is a critical step to regaining control of our financial situation in this country. We can never get meaningful reforms if all eyes are on the $352 million so-called cuts, and transactions like the $220 million given to Wall Street cronies are done in the shadows. This is why I have reintroduced my Audit the Fed bill to this Congress. HR 1207 is now HR 459 and is essential to true fiscal reform and responsibility.

Stop wars by using water to run your cars with little adoption to the car. You use the same everything almost just break water into hydrogen and oxygen (first used in the beginning of the 1900′s) and replace gas with hydrogen. If water goes farther with more power than water per gallon why don’t we hear about it? Follow the money and you will quickly learn how cheap and effective water is vs. oil… water when burned turns to water! No need for senseless wars and killings. STOP THE FED NOW!

A democratically elected government of officials for a City, County, State or Federal Institution is US Constitutionally supposed to regulate the value of and issuance of US mediums of exchange. This is why the bloody revolution started in the first place!
Ben Franklin invented the printing press and then invented paper currency. Do you think that we should be slaves to who ever has the most gold and silver?
What Ben Franklin did was standardize the IOU. Which represents ones EFFORT whether it be metal or physical? Yea and it worked so well the merchant families in the OLD WORLD paid Hessians to enforce the abolishing of the Colonies Currency System. That is why the Revolution started, not because of some tea party.
The first thing the culprits did after establishing the Federal Reserve was to change US history so no one would challenge their Unconstitutional power. Research it and find the truth for yourself.
If we cannot elect democratically a body of representatives capable of issuing constitutional US mediums of exchange then it serve us right to be slaves to merchant families that own and control everything. While we are reduced to being looked at as animals that need to be curbed and controlled, it seems that they go out of their way to make sure we all become uneducated immoral animals to help justify their Talmud Babylonian Satanic Religion and justify their form of slavery and murder.
Can’t see my point? Try looking at money as power that represent people’s willingness to work, consume, invest and donate. Then realize how this power can be abused unconstitutionally by a very Satanic Religion.

We need to abandon the dollar and form an internal currency. We do not take responsibility for the governments decisions. They are people burrowing money based off of our credibility. When did you and I ever give them permission to burrow so much money using your and my own sweat equity, or credit?

If Ron and Rand want to do something then they need to right a bill that decommissions the Federal Reserve and puts the control of monetary issuance back into the hands of Congress and the Senate ONLY. The bottom line is that if you really want to audit the Federal Reserve you would have to do it by force just like the IRS does! The same families the own the Federal Reserve own the IRS and showed us exactly how we should forcefully audit them. What goes around comes around!
If we passed a Bill that gave Congress their constitutional right to issue currency unto their constituents that showed the ability to create jobs through the expansion of industry, services and technology then the US economy would be back on track in a very short time. Yea, you may say that it would still all go over seas through the gas pump; however, if we used US energy then it would all stay here. So, who would lose REAL PROFIT if the US became more energy independent? Who controls the flow of foreign oil into the US? You guest it the same Families that own and control the Federal Reserve. They print it you pump it and they get it back twice, three times if you include taxes.
In the end we sould now have learned from this lesson and need to rebuild civilization with many redundant safeguards against unconstitutional monetary mongrels.

Raising the debt ceiling is the only way the ludicrous unconstitutional central banking system can keep the US Government from collapsing. It seems that the previous stimulus has pacified the private banking systems thus far.
In the end we must learn from this lesson and rebuild the next civilization with many redundant safeguards against unconstitutional monetary mongrels.

The greatest rick they’ve designed is the one that gives you the hope to one day be able to get a Lamborghini and a big breasted blonde in lingerie waiting for you in a mansion with a Martini in one hand and a Cuban cigar in the other.
