Ron Paul wants us to keep buying oil from his homeland, the Communist Islamic Republic of Nazi Iran.

Make ethanol out of sugarcane or hemp.
It is cheaper and would not require the TAXPAYERS money.
Domestic ethanol is good, but produce it wisely.

    and as Ron Paul said.
The US needs to grow hemp again.
Ford had a hemp car once. made from AMERICAN materials running on AMERICAN hemp fuel, not terrorist oil

whe was right to oppose the patriot act
He was right as he was against the iraq war.
he was right about the collaps of the financial sector.

    Hi
I just had this idea, what if someone who is computer s.a.v.v.y decides to set up a LIVESTREAM webcam on a website, and start streaming from the biggest citites in US. From Los Angeles to New York. The cameras would be set up in the biggest park or squares, (a la’ Tahrir Square) and then announce a gathering every Saturday for RON PAUL REVOLUTION UNTIL ELECTION DAY. This would most certainly be a resemblance of the 1960′s as antiwar, libertarians and all others gather everysaturdat

There is a major push from who knows where that is vilifying the use of oil. Took the kids to see Cars 2 this weekend & the bad guys owned oil rigs & were trying to sabotage bio-fuel. I don’t know if the Ron Paul vision for America is possible anymore :(

Expanding energy is the mass of the vacuum of space within an object being accumulated or released at the speed of the vacuum of space.

Energy does not come from oil. It comes from the vacuum of space contained within the oil; therefore, energy comes from thin air.

It will be one year without government involvement and we will be there.

It just brought to mind the BP oil disaster. It happened just when people were really talking about drilling for oil here at home. Makes me wonder..

I think that small businesses who convert to renewable energy should get dramatically reduced taxes. They will lead by example, all will follow and then non will have to pay stupid high small-business taxes : )

We need to Stream line The Regulation on Energy Related, Cut the red Tape & Permit Fees, Strip them of the ability to use energy to strangle us, For example there shoving this green Energy on us in the name of saving the planet yet with excessive regulations & Permit fees there preventing most of us from doing solar or wind, it cost more in permit fees to build & install a 1.5k turbine then it costs in Material to build it & Labor to install it ,

The word “government” needs to be abolished as a descriptor for the protector of the people. The very idea that a free nation have government is absurd. We simply need to rename it from something that’s inhibiting and controlling to something that’s liberating and protecting.

Sorry Ron, the distinction between subsidies and tax credits is sophistry – this is the first thing that I disagree with you on.

The playing field should be level for all players and all industries…. anything else is picking winners.

Overall you are correct they are one and the same. The distinction though is the intermediate step of taxation of one to give a subsidy to another. If you removed the tax, there is no need for a tax credit. Additionally without taxes there are no funds to subsidise someone else. He even states that tax credits are not ideal but that he will always vote for lower taxes. Ideally there should be neither a tax, nor a tax credit or subsidy. Ron paul’s message is changing slightly. Jot because his ideology is changing, it’s just that he’s gathering more steam for his run at the white house this time around, and his message is becoming a lot more pragmatic than pure ideological discussions as before. A good example is social security. While he doesn’t quite believe in it, he’s willing to have a transition period, where soc sec can be funded by the reduced foreign aid we give. Also he spoke of a flat 10% income tax. Again ideologically he would have 0% tax, but practically 10% would be a starting point
