Ron Paul: Conviction, Not Compromise!

Ron Paul’s First 2012 TV Ad

Are you ready to watch Ron Paul’s much-anticipated first TV ad for the 2012 primaries?

Released earlier today, the 65-second spot is dedicated to Ron Paul’s principled stance on the debt ceiling controversy. As we all know, only Ron Paul will not compromise when it comes to cutting spending and balancing the budget!

Watch the ad now:

In the 1980s they did it to Reagan – a debt ceiling compromise, Democrats promising spending cuts, but delivering only tax hikes. The 1990s brought more compromises, more broken promises and more new taxes. This August, the next chapter will be written, a defining moment. $14 trillion in debt, millions unemployed, the dollar in decline. We know where they stand. But will our party’s leaders repeat the mistakes of the past? Will they choose compromise or conviction? One candidate has always been true, Ron Paul. Cut spending, balance the budget, no deals. Standing up to the Washington machine, guided by principle. Restore America now.

Best ad EVER!! GO, GO, GO, Dr. NO!!! Ron Paul 2012! I am a BLUE REPUBLICAN!!!!

Liberty4Ever:

Great ad. Very topical, as it leverages TEA Party disgust over Boehner and McConnell rolling over to let Obama raise the debt ceiling so they can hopefully blame the Democrats in the fall. Americans know we’re WAY beyond playing the blame game, and it’s long past time to do something. They’re finally figuring out the fact that the GOP establishment differs from the Democratic establishment in marketing only. They’re both the party of big government. Ron Paul 2012!

wredlich:

Outstanding! It’s great and it’s much more polished than 2008.

nalejbank:

Very exciting ad. Makes the right point that compromise with reducing the increases only yields more than what should be and feeds the big government machine with our labors and our children’s future. What part of CUT don’t you understand? We cannot have less government while spending ever more! Chop spending to equal revenues, end of story.
Great ad – well done – share with everyone in your email address book!!! Let’s go viral !!!

tangledweb79:

That was the best campaign commerical I have ever seen. First class all the way.

ancientwisdom2012:

conviction is based on fundamental principles that do not change when circumstances change, because they are always valid (like freedom and rights). (based in courage)
compromise (of principles), is sophistry, which changes to suit an agenda and in order to deceive and manipulate. (based in fear and a reactionary, irrational nature)(giving up freedom for the illusory “security”…)

Robert M.:

Ron Paul is vilified by Republicans and Democrats, marginalized by the news media and a clear and present danger to the global elite.

Furthermore, he is the ONLY Presidential Candidate with the historical conviction, unwavering values and powerful intellect that can provide true leadership in our country’s time of need.

He’s more than a mere candidate, he is an idea whose time has come!

By way of comparison, here’s a quick flashback to Ron Paul’s first TV ad back from the 2008 election season.

The ostensibly low-budget homage to Ron Paul became an online sensation and an instant classic with grassroots supporters, but it did not have much of an impact on New Hampshire voters.

What did I go and do now?

I'm nearly ready to recant my recent blogs. The closer I look at Ron Paul, he doesn't seem to have the stomach for any confrontation caused or not caused. He troubles me not have the stomach for defending those who have been our long-standing Allie's like Israel. The thing is, God is Israels defender as the good book declares. Also, those who go against Israel, God himself will go against them and God always starts with the earth's weather...so look around since we've been forcing Israel to give up portions of land to the Philistines for peace...hogwash! If they're Israel's enemies, then they damn well better be ours too! But then again, America has removed God from it's federal buildings, federal and local courts, school systems congress and the senate. Hang on to your hat cowboy, God's judgments are-a-coming!

Obama borrows money from China and spends billions in U.S. tax dollars to invade and brutally occupy sovereign nations in the middle east instead of using the money to heal our economy and create new jobs. Like Bush, Obama is an imperialist pro-war Hitler who needs to stop bullying/policing the world and focus on helping the American people. Time to impeach Obama, bring the troops home and let them protect Americans on U.S. soil. Our deficit can't afford anymore unjust wars. RON PAUL 2012

  10. The ad is nice. Just one comment: kindly edit the three young people walking away with their backs facing the audience. Just immediately cut to the girl speaking. This part is too fast. But if you will remove the backs of people part, the girl talking following that shot of backs, will be able to speak longer and clearer. The message is clear: Ron Paul's agenda is to take care of the American people. In this ad, there is no portion for military spending or war. Nice!!!! Ron should have another ad: Like this: How do you propose to withdraw the troops? Ron Pauls says: Just send them home. They walk in, and they just walk out. I saw this part in a debate or interview. This will be very effective for the troops, their families, friends, relative, and the entire people. And this saves a lot of money too. And reduces world-wide tension. And would save many American soldiers. Mabuhay ka, Ron Paul!!!!!!!!!

  12. My Libertarian friend pointed out that I had a lot of libertarian views and should check out Ron Paul. It's true that I don't always agree with him, but he is very sensible on TONS of issues and really seems honest and reliable. He has a real plan and I wish him good fortune in this election.

      • Aaron:
I don't believe you can randomly blame anyone person voting for the Patriot Act. Hindsight is always 20/20, but we also know through it, there were a few American's who were caught by wire tapped and several people in Colorado caught with nearly completed bombs. There have also been less then a dozen American's going to Afghanistan to learn a new trade of making explosives for the sake of killing Americans.

Personally, I don't believe I'm as paranoid as you sound, but I suppose we all have to give a little to be a little safer or at least for the time being. Even so, none of us like it much.

  15. Author, ProudTEX:

I couldn't agree with you more concerning Ron Paul, but as far as Israel is concerned, I completely disagree. What I want to bring up is, when we're saved, we kinda turn into bible thumpers, learning about God's word. Well when we do, we begin to see how God used his chosen people to be our example of God's love and also his wrath when we're disobedient to his laws; they are our example. God took Israel out of Egypt and had them cross the desert to the land of milk and honey, which was Israel. God is the one who gave the Jews their land. Taking it away from those who were God's enemies. These enemies of God have worshiped idols and faults gods until today. God also said he would bless those who bless Israel. America has been a blessed nation as they've stood with and for Israel, but we've forced them to give a portion of their land to the palestinians are no more then squatters, nomads, but it was never sanctioned by God. Therefore, America has suffered greatly for allowing our political leaders to come against Israel in the name of peace. These people don't want peace, they want to kill the Jews and possess their land for their religion's sake, as having great value to their religion, it's that simple. So, if you are a believer in God, then you must see and recognize that God is Israels defender and those who bless Israel, God will bless their nation.

Besides, they've suffered enough with the Holocaust with Hitler and if we're not careful, could find ourselves in the same predicament with the events come in the book of Joel. Just bear in mind, these are God's chosen people and anyone coming against them will themselves be destroyed by God himself.

Real Jews believe other then what you’re preaching. Listen to Rabbi Dovid Feldman

Listen to little Rachel Corrie who was murdered by the Israeli Bulldozer only because she cared.

Mr. Preacher can you tell that the your not smarter than a fifth grade.

      I’m here for other children.
      I’m here because I care.
I’m here because children everywhere are suffering and because forty thousand people die each day from hunger.
I’m here because those people are mostly children.
We have got to understand that the poor are all around us and we are ignoring them.
We have got to understand that these deaths are preventable.
We have got to understand that people in third world countries think and care and smile and cry just like us.
We have got to understand that they dream our dreams and we dream theirs.
We have got to understand that they are us. We are them.
My dream is to stop hunger by the year 2000.
My dream is to give the poor a chance.
My dream is to save the 40,000 people who die each day.
My dream can and will come true if we all look into the future and see the light that shines there.
If we ignore hunger, that light will go out.
If we all help and work together, it will grow and burn free with the potential of tomorrow.

  16. Congressman Paul’s consistent voting record prompted one of his congressional colleagues to say, “Ron Paul personifies the Founding Fathers’ ideal of the citizen-statesman. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are.” Another colleague observed, “There are few people in public life who, through thick and thin, rain or shine, stick to their principles. Ron Paul is one of those few.”
