  • Anyone with an ounce of integrity, and the smallest love for the truth will know that Ron Paul has stood for the people his entire political career. His record would stand against any politician in history as one that defends the Constitution. He has been proven right over and over again on economic issues, understands that small government is the best for all of us, and for the world, speaks the truth when idiotic bills come forth from the beast, and essentially could turn this country around in short order if We, the People, stand with him and support the return to a true Republic, and educate the ignorant mob that blindly follows lies and propaganda. The world depends on our freedoms remaining, and on our defending the Constitution fully. republicfortheunitedstates.org

What is funny that I’ve seen this evening, no ‘Christian’ or ‘Republican’ has quoted the bible: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”

Man made governments are doomed to fail. Ron Paul is the closest to person to tell the truth about how things are done in Washington. Everyone else puts on their fake party color and pretends to tow the line and know it all.

No matter who is elected the next few years, us humans will have to strike out against the powers-that-be to fight for our voice. America is the most armed country in the world when it comes to her citizens. I feel sorry for the authorities whom orders strikes against their own kind due to ‘insurrection’.

It will make every war look pale in comparison.

The Romans 13 reference, is referring to the powers in the body of the church, the church leadership, i.e. Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Apostles, Prophets, etc…not to the rulers set up by evil men, like Roman Emperors who put Christians in the arena with lions to be torn apart. We are told to pray for the leaders, and we are also told that where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

      • Derek Underwood

I must ask you to rethink your position, my friend.

It says “let EVERY SOUL be subject to the higher powers”. They cannot be the higher powers and be subject to the higher powers at the same time. If the church leaders have souls then they too are subject to the “higher powers”, therefore we must look elsewhere for defining “higher powers”.

Good luck in your search for truth.

It was painful for me to watch the debate tonight. Painful for the following reasons:

It looked as though Paul had no intention to look for the right opportunities to speak when there were obvious opportunities to do so. He should have interjected, cut in like other candidates did. It was Newt G. who actually scored important points. And those points were Dr. Paul’s !!! It was Newt who interjected, decried the super congress as unconstitutional to the audience’s applause, not Paul! Where was Paul?

On the economy it was Bachman who was allowed a reply to Santorum’s schooling Dr. Paul on economics, not Paul.

Often we complain about mainstream media not reporting enough on the good doctor. These debates offer an invaluable chance for Ron Paul to seek opportunities to talk directly to the national audience in a way that would set him apart. Tonight, he was politely looking absent and would not have talked at all, it seems, if not for a few questions and the last attack by Rick Santorum.

Dr. Paul needs to show that he’s a leader and not just a philosopher. He needs to LEAD in the debates showing a clear difference between him and the rest of the field. Like Newt G. did tonight. He did not wax philosophic – he expressed his opinions in a simple and clear way. (“super congress is a horrible, unconstitutional idea”) Using the debates’ forum to get your message out is a strategy. I wish Dr. Paul would realize that!

Tonight he was just waiting to be attacked. With the performance like he had tonight he will not convince the country to vote for him. The ideal candidate is one who has the message and knows how to effectively communicate it to the masses!

    • RPsupporter

Joe, why are you so hungry to attack RP? According to the media, he’s not even in the race. Your ramblings are Obvious partisan propaganda.

  • Scott Hutchinson

This person who calls himself John, who is posting ugly stuff tonight, is obviously in actuality Donald Trump. The Trumpster himself, he who hates the truth because it just gets in his way. Welcome, Donald! We talk to statists, we don’t sanction them or reject them, we’ll talk and trade with them, won’t invade.

    But we will defend.

    • John

How many years does RP have to run and have absolutely no impact whatsoever on the race before you stop throwing your money down the toilet? Or is the truth that you just love the circus that is RP and could care less about true reform? RP is about being the sideshow(and taking your money), not getting results.

      • RPsupporter

John, how does it feel to be a tool? What you are doing was once called prostitution. In your warped world, Ron Paul would be getting government subsidies for voluntarily educating the uneducated. Ron Paul is clearly leading in all aspects of popular opinion in this country we call the USA!

  • Scott Hutchinson

    ha ha ha

Santorum came with his A-game, and left with his tail between his legs. LOL

Thought he was going to make a few neo-con points against the Paulster ha ha ha

    • RPsupporter

Yeah, I’m glad it’s not my job to feebly try to prop up these has been nobody’s that are supposed to be leading against Ron Paul. When futility becomes obvious it’s called comedy.

  • Scott Hutchinson

I don’t often agree with Noot the Grinch, but Fox’s format has always left something to be desired. More like a reality show than a debate, moderators can do whatever they please, chuckling at their own questions, gotcha rules. Can you get that through congress? HAH, what’s it matter if it has to be done to restore sanity to our monetary system? It has to be done and so it shall! Ron Paul 2012!

  • John

Ron Paul complains of an overreaching and all to powerful government on one hand, yet on the other brags of being in this government for 38 years? That is hypocrisy at it’s finest, and I’m stunned that none of his cult followers have called him on it, or been called on it themselves.

    • Joe Q

So you fault the man for tirelessly trying to take the broken government we have and make it better from the inside? I don’t.

      • John

No, I fault him for moaning about the status quo, when you don’t get more status quo than 38 years on the job. And for a political lifer, he sure has been ineffective at “tirelessly” changing this mess of a government as you put it.

The bottom line is he is running for president for his own selfish agenda, and has absolutely no chance of winning. They just need to play the clown horn when he speaks at these debates, because that’s what he is.

      • John

And the really sad part is his little cult following does nothing but throw away their time and money into a losing cause year after year…he talks of political scams, well he oughtta know…he runs the biggest one.

  • Scott Hutchinson

Looks like Santorum learned a couple of lessons about Iran.

Don’t get me wrong…I AM A RON PAUL person like the rest…Congressman Paul has to quit the “fumbling” of his answers and start being “direct” with his ideas and comments…I would have loved Ron Paul saying something like “let’s cut the crap…here’s what’s going on in our country and around the world…” and just get to the point…MOST people feel like you and I and all Ron Paul has to do is be a bit more agressive and firm on hi stance (whatever that might be)…The ideas are there…He just has to quit being so nice sometimes 🙂

  • DrB

Ron Paul has announced he will not be running for re-election of his congressional seat. He is OBVIOUSLY running for President. Thank GOD!

  • Stephen

Ron Paul won the debate hands down, he is the only candidate that has consistently stood firm on the same principles of liberty & constitutional government.

I like a Paul/Bachman ticket, or perhaps a Paul/Cain ticket. Cain has very good business sense & business ideas.

I made the mistake of voting for Obama in the last election, it won’t happen again.

  • for whom the bell tolls

I’m constantly amazed at Dr Paul’s patience. (pardon the pun lol) It has to be so difficult being the smartest man in the room and listening to buffoons who know absolutely nothing about monetary policy, The US Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence, fiat currency (I’d be amazed if any of the other candidates even understands what that is lol) and what limited government is all about. It’s remarkable he doesn’t beat them over the head with books none of them have read about economics and non-interventionist foreign policy. The simple fact of the matter is Dr Ron Paul is the only man amongst the candidates qualified to be President of the United States. The rest wouldn’t be qualified to run my company lol. Go get em Ron.

  • pc

Why is ron paul in the debate when he announced he isnt running for the nomination?

  • DrB

Like fiesty Ron! The other candidates showed their lack of understanding the Constitution and federalism. The 10th amendment proved that.

Dr. Ron Paul IS THE candidate of limited Constitutional government that will lead this country forward.

  • Thomas J.

Good Luck tonight Ron. You speak for freedom and the constitution. This is why I support you 100%. I am tired of big government trying to run are lives and telling us what to do. It’s time for real change and a truely free market system.

  • Michael

Go Ron Paul. This could be your last hurrah and you need to go out with a bang. After tonight the American people will have one less wingnut racist hater to listen to. You stupid silly old bastard.

    • Thomas Martin

      Wow… You’re enlightened.

You show your ignorance and lack of knowledge. Ron Paul is a man of integrity and stands for the truth. Spreading lies and slander (Ron Paul is not a wingnut, racist, stupid, silly, or a bastard) just shows how low some people will stoop to discredit him. Calling him names when you obviously know nothing about him shows how much integrity you have.

      Ron Paul in 2012!

    • charles turner

how immature you are. you must have anger issues. please see a shrink!

      • KSH

More like, please see an exorcist. You gotta be a devils own to mouth off disrespect to God’s pick for POTUSA. Ron Paul for saving lives, not killing them.

  • Truth Is Self-Evident
