If we want ron paul for a GOP nomination, why do we need Obama out of office. We may as well leave him in house. Ron Paul and Obama believe the same; small military, no power, legalize drugs, open the border…….

Looks like news channels naming just 3 GOP candidates, and don’t even mention ron paul.
    Which is fair.
His real score is in single digits and pumping/manipulating online polls is the same as playing NFL computers games and then claiming real championship.
ron paul is not republican. He is super-liberal to the point of siding with our enemies. He is pro-nuclear Iran, pro-every terrorist, including even Bin-Laden. Yes, he did say that Bin Laden should not have been killed.
He is “buying” you with his defense of Constitution, but he is using Constitution to protect terrorists and their rights. He is against any terror preventing action, including PATRIOT Act.
Well, if you guys want to follow him, then be ready that the Constitution one day will be replaced by Sharia Law. Because that is what exactly terrorists are talking about and that is exactly how they see our future.
3 years ago Obama brainwashed heads with his slogans, now Ron Paul is doing the same. Childish dreams about worldwide peace and blank promises.
Only Obama did not pump so much online polls.
You can turn your thumbs down, but this is the truth.

      Tolik,

I think you’ve drunk a bit too much of the Faux News koolaid. The idea that Ron Paul is pro-nuclear Iran or pro-terrorist because he is anti-warmongering is absurd. That would be like me coming to the conclusion that you are in fact pro-HillaryClinton simply because you are anti-RonPaul. And I think those who actually listen to his messaged aren’t particularly concerned with the labels the so called pundits cast upon him. The fact that his ideas do appeal to Republicans, Independents and Democrats is what makes the message so important and is what scares the establishment so much. So yeah Thumbs Down to your fear-mongering rant. We’ve heard it all before.

This poll is biased being on the Ron Paul political site and bias is contradictory to the core message and philosophy of Dr. Ron Paul, take it down. It’s not needed. The message and core values that Dr. Ron Paul delivers is sufficient enough. They can already see that Dr. Paul is a man of integrity by clicking literally on anything else of the website and a poll such as this would only degrade him.

We can’t afford more warmongering and a certain war with Iran based on supposition and conjecture… and of course there are Corporate interests involved as usual. Santorum… in an era where already fear mongering hawkishness based on supposition has bankrupted this nation… proposes certain war. There’s no logic to it at all while Paul speaks logic… there is precedent and history that backs up everything he says. I guarantee you that Santorum never knew that the troubles with Iran now began when we staged a coup against a Democratically elected leader and supplanted him with a repressive tyrant in 1953. He probably still doesn’t know that even after being told. Ladies and Gentlemen… the biggest threat to the US and to Israel is Santorum and all of those who share his Boogey-Man Neo-Conservative myths.

You know I’ve been exploring this idea that much like the Earth the political spectrum is not a flat line. What if the political spectrum were actually circular? I think if you drew out the linear political spectrum on a piece of paper and formed the paper in to a circle you would find that Libertarians occupy the overlap where those two ends meet. There is a place in the political spectrum where people can still agree to disagree on social issues but not let their personal opinions on those issues interfere with the common goals of allowing people to live their lives without Government interference. How else could you possibly suggest a man who in his own words is THE most conservative member of congress could possibly be a democrat? Just something to think about.

I think Ron Paul is the best Republican candidate. That said, I’d like to hear more on de-regulations; when most of the regulations out there aren’t being adhered too. My concern is major corporations (both national & international) that will do or produce nothing to anything for a buck, without forethought of the harm it does to society. Where self-sustaining businesses have HUmans built-in as a commodity; like War 4 Profit, War on Drugs, sicknesses like Diabetes, Cancer. Where they produce from beginning to end (proccessed foods, diabetics, insulin) to ensure growth & sustainability.
    * We need to invest in NEW Hi-Tech jobs that can audit, prosecute, close loop holes in Gov Agencies & still regulate and review businesses.
    * We need to thoroughly Audit the FED and if wrnog doing found, take their assets and sell them off to pay off the debt.
    * We need to do away with the Energy Commision & start a Green Technology Center.
    * We need to stimulate Small Businesses working closely with the Patent Office & Green Tech Ctr, Small Business Bureau.. to offer special US SMall Business Bonds that we the AMerICAN people can invest in.
+ organized technical groups that come up with business plans that work
at promoting new technologies, companies, jobs.
    * We need to stop bailing out Corporations.
    * Stop any monopolies or grouped monopoliies.
    * We need to start paying off our debt & THAT MEANS less spending and higher taxes on this generation NOT the next generation.
    * Need new ideas that builds from the bottom up with STEEL feet to carry our hope, dreams, aspirations, into the next century – THIS ONE now.

“Are you guys still think that Ron Paul is right to want to let Iran have nuclear weapons and long-range missiles? Does he understand modern weapon systems? Is he aware of the threats that President of Iran Achmadinejad has made to Israel and the United States?”

“Are you” (sic) think it’s right that Israel has nuclear weapons?

“Yet Israel is the only country in the Middle East thought to have atomic weapons. Western sources believe the Jewish State has a nuclear arsenal at its Dimona plant (pictured) in the Negev desert, and may have done for 40 years, but its size remains a mystery.” – http://www.asianews.it/news-en/Israel%E2%80%99s-nuclear-arsenal-to-be-discussed-at-next-IAEA-meeting-18397.html

Of course, if you read the article you will see a Professor Cohen claim that Israel has a “unique right” to nuclear weapons because of the “Holocaust.”

Ask yourself: why have you NEVER heard about Israel’s illegal nuclear program on the news?

It’s rather obvious why the media are treating Dr. Paul so poorly – he doesn’t worship the self-Chosen Ones.

Dr. Paul, why don’t you do what President Nixon was afraid of and name the real reason American has gone “down the drain?”

You have accomplished a great deal in your life but by telling the whole truth you could go down as one of the greatest men of all time.

If the question is “Who was best at the debate? Who had the best arguments?” it’s clear that Mr Paul won (again). But as far as “Being better than expected” is concerned, I think that Herman Cain was surprising. Nevertheless, he’ll probably drop out after the Ames Straw Poll.

The problem I see: If you were a 100 % Ron Paul supporter, this debate made you a 150 % Ron Paul supporter. But that’s not enough to win nomination. You will also need the votes of people who like Michele Bachmann’s inane chatter or Tim Pawlenty’s staunch conservatism. So I don’t really think that the Iran and Cuba remarks were very helpful.

Mr Paul has so many great ideas about how to reform the US and give her citizens their liberty back. His web site is bursting with them, but the debates pretty much center around presidential restraint, repealing a couple of laws and pulling the military back.

What you think people just walk in with a bomb. wow, you sound like Bush, and hes an admitted liar about why we went to war and how he made up a lot of it to get support. read his biography, he was fear monhgering. BTW, Cheney while working for haliburton right before he was signed into office the first time in 2000, brokered a deal between Irans Nuclear chief and haliburton, to sell NUKE MAKING MATERIALS to IRAN. Then after 9/11 and after Haliburton was paid, Bush labeled them axis of evil after his own VP sold Iran the nuke making stuff, so it was a SETUP. Get your facts right.

Ron, you were the only “real person” there. The rest of them were Pinocchios, either giving sound-byte “bumper sticker” answers or doing their best to sound like YOU.

I am particularly amazed by Newt’s incredible “Ron Paul Imitation”, and his shameless scrambling to get in front of your parade – given his record on constitutional issues.

The problem is he doesn’t really mean it, he is just mouthing the words he knows we want to hear in order to gain the office – once that is accomplished it will be business as usual and he will follow the dictates of his CFR masters, the best interests of We The People be damned.

As long as we let a private banking cartel control the issuance of our currency in the form of debt with interest into a fractional reserve banking system our national debt will always equal our money supply and we will all be ruled with an iron fist by a small and highly secretive group of people having interests inimical to our own.

They have been playing us like an accordion since 1913, first inflating the money supply through easy credit resulting in economic expansion and then reducing the money supply through the restriction of credit resulting in economic contraction – allowing them to harvest the assets generated during the expansion phase. This process has been impoverishing our nation – it is analogous to the malnutrition suffered by a victim of a parasitic tapeworm infestation.

Now they intend to harvest it all, right down to and including the seed corn.

Until we regain control over the issuance of our own currency and divest the Federal Government of the power to borrow money, the rest of it is just a puppet show intended to distract us from the true nature of the tyranny we are living under and to hide from our view the bars of the prison in which we all reside.

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country – Vote Ron Paul in 2012!

Ron Paul: Iran should be allowed to have a nuclear bomb
‘Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism?” Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asked at Tehran conference in 2005. “But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are attainable, and surely can be achieved.” He added that Iran had a “war preparation plan” for, as he put it, “the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization.”
It’s been practicing for the day when an Iranian missile tipped with a nuclear warhead lifts off from a vessel parked in international waters off our shores, the warhead detonating high above the American heartland, sending electromagnetic waves rippling across the American landscape, frying every electronic circuit within range.

Are you guys still think that Ron Paul is right to want to let Iran have nuclear weapons and long-range missiles? Does he understand modern weapon systems? Is he aware of the threats that President of Iran Achmadinejad has made to Israel and the United States?
Vote for Ron Paul and women should be prepared to wear hijabs as global new fashion. Men should be prepared to kneel on all fours 5 times a day praying towards Mecca.

He said we dont need to interfear. So USA dont need nukes, i mean unless you count the 50 wars we been in that were never declared wars, like were in 68 countries with special forces doing asaninations, the reason, to push forward our agenda. So we go bomb whoever, and its ok, but Iran wants a defense so they are not attacked, and all of a sudden USA is the only one allowed. AND BTW…..
Iran dont have the compatability, or the ability to bring a boat and let off a nuke. If it was a REAL threat BUSH would have bombed them seeings they have no military that can compare even with our now police force. Besides, thats what the Coast Guard and billions of dollars are for…>DEFENSE.

How can you say Iran is definitely going to launch on us?? That is just more racism and ignorance. We are hated in the middle east because we are there. If someone attacked us day after day we would be pissed too. If you want to avoid problems with being nuked then we need a foreign policy that is not pissing off the world. Most of the world hates our intervention.

It is not our right to force our ideals upon the rest of the world. If Iran is stupid enough to ever launch a nuke on us we would remove them from the planet. End of story. Stop using them as a serious threat because they are not. The serious threat is us being in their land.

Iran wants the violence and land grab from Israel to palestinian people to end, and if that means war, thats what HE MEANT. And he also meant the crooked idiots in Israeli government and military, not its people who also support Israel getting out of pre War borders of palestine. For more than 30 years in Congress, Dr. Paul has relentlessly championed the US Constitution, individual liberties, sound currency, and a peaceful foreign policy.

In other words, Dr. Paul was decades ahead of his time — and the populace is FINALLY catching up. Because the populace is FINALLY waking up to Dr. Paul and the truth of his message, phony politicians such as Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney are attempting to garner support by aligning their views with Dr. Paul’s message.

In reality, Republican candidates such as those phonies and are bought and paid for by the establishment and are therefore for the status quo, NOT real change.

Obama ran on a platform of “change.”

How much “change” do you see?

As Dr. Paul would say, “more of the same old same old.”

If you want “more of the same old same old” welfare-warfare state, vote for the latest psychopath.

If you want real fundamental “change,” vote for Dr. Paul.

Even if Dr. Paul stopped campaigning and never uttered another word, he should receive 100% of the votes.

Although I realize that Paul may not secure the nomination(moneyball), he is still having a major impact on the dialogue of this campaign. I can hear it now, the neo-cons are sending hate messages to Murdock. Murdock has is OWN troubles these days. I bet you 10 to 1 Ron’s friend John Stossel made some noise about the poll being taken down. I would like to think that Judge Andrew Napolitano demanded that Fox show some fairness and honesty toward Ron Paul. Yes, Stossel and the Judge are part of Fox Business channel.

Everyone needs to contact their local Campaign For Liberty chapter. Help get Ron Paul elected. Do not vote for Newt “the adulterer” Gingrich, Herman “former president of the Federal Reserve Bank” Cain, Rick “Knights of Malta” Santorum. Rick “Bilderberg” Perry, Michelle “Israel Funder/Patriot Act extender” Bachmann, Tim “Zionist Banker supporter” Pawlenty, Mitt “Obamney Care” Romney. Huntsman is at least honest and shares some of the values as Ron Paul.

I do want to clarify that Zionism is NOT Judaism. Zionism is politcal and all about money. Check out the Orthodox Jewish websites. They explain these differences very well. The Israel Government stopping those humanitarian floatillas was wrong. Shame on them. There were anti-zionist jewish people on those floatillas.

Ron Paul is naive thinking that appeasing terrorists and giving them the green light to nukes would bring a peace.
History have proved time and time again that “whoever trying to appease crocodile would be eaten last”.
Arming Iran with nukes is even worse than arming Nazis with nukes, because many of our enemies are already inside the US.
Appeaser Ron Paul would lead us to war the same way another appeaser Neville Chamberlain led the world to WWII.
Only this time the war might be nuclear.
Unfortunately, naive people ignore history lessons until it’s too late.

It was painful for me to watch the debate tonight. Painful for the following reasons:

It looked as though Paul had no intention to look for the right opportunities to speak when there were obvious opportunities to do so. He should have interjected, cut in like other candidates did. It was Newt G. who actually scored important points. And those points were Dr. Paul’s !!! It was Newt who interjected, decried the super congress as unconstitutional to the audience’s applause, not Paul! Where was Paul?

On the economy it was Bachman who was allowed a reply to Santorum’s schooling Dr. Paul on economics, not Paul.

Often we complain about mainstream media not reporting enough on the good doctor. These debates offer an invaluable chance for Ron Paul to seek opportunities to talk directly to the national audience in a way that would set him apart. Tonight, he was politely looking absent and would not have talked at all, it seems, if not for a few questions and the last attack by Rick Santorum.

Dr. Paul needs to show that he’s a leader and not just a philosopher. He needs to LEAD in the debates showing a clear difference between him and the rest of the field. Like Newt G. did tonight. He did not wax philosophic – he expressed his opinions in a simple and clear way. (“super congress is a horrible, unconstitutional idea”) Using the debates’ forum to get your message out is a strategy. I wish Dr. Paul would realize that!

Tonight he was just waiting to be attacked. With the performance like he had tonight he will not convince the country to vote for him. The ideal candidate is one who has the message and knows how to effectively communicate it to the masses!

His ‘problem’ is he’s too much of a ‘gentleman’. Have you noticed how he’ll always let his opponent finish before responding?

Nevertheless, he might not be a ‘leader’ as we all think of leaders. But he’s a leader on what matters. FREEDOM.

Would you rather have a ‘leader’ who gets congress to enact ‘cuts’ of $1.5 trillion (which still means we run a $600 bn deficit a year), or would you follow someone who would bring us back to fundamental liberty, sound money and secure borders?

Obama is a great speaker. But even now everyone is finding he is a good speaker, and only a good speaker. He cannot lead. He has no thoughts of his own. He doesn’t understand economics, liberty or the constitution.

Truth is treason in the empire of lies. Ron Paul is the ONLY one speaking the truth.

Effectively communicating to the masses doesn’t mean disrespecting someone and running off at the mouth while they’re still talking; like Santorum. There’s a reason God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth. Judging by the number of Ron Paul’s supporters, I’d say he’s doing a pretty good job communicating that he’s 100% in favor of what America wants and needs. Everyone else looked like a complete idiot in comparison. Ron Paul or Obama…take your pick.

I feel like Ron Paul would definitely have won the debate in everyone’s eyes including supporters of other candidates if he mentioned that he would legalize marijuana

I think that you’re right except that, in my opinion, most people already know that, mainstream media would try even harder to discredit him, and he’d probably be assassinated even faster than if they put him in office just to appease the American people. We will never have completely legalized Marijuana without taking up arms in the streets. There is just way too much money on the line.
