Ron Paul Third in New Hampshire Poll with 14%

Magellan Strategies released the results of a new poll conducted August 15 and August 16 among 613 New Hampshire Republicans and Republican-leaning independent likely voters.

Question: “If the 2012 Republican Presidential primary election was being held today, for whom would you vote if the candidates were Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Jon Huntsman, Rick Perry or some other candidate?”


  1. Mitt Romney 36%
  2. Rick Perry 18%
  3. Ron Paul 14%
  4. Michele Bachmann 10%
  5. Herman Cain 3%
  6. Some other candidate 3%
  7. Jon Huntsman 3%

    You know eaven the Fair & Ballance network don`t talk much of Dr. Paul. I did see him on Mr. Wolf Blitzer. Now that is a good thing.

    What the media does not mention is that Ron Paul is the only Republican who can take “Progressive” voters away from the Democrats. Many are upset that Obama has not only failed to withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq, but has intervened in Libya. Even if he does not get the nomination, Ron Paul could be a quite significant 3rd party candidate as he would probably pull as many Democrats as Republicans and would pull many Independents as well as Libertarians. I wish Rand were running. The most effective thing that people can use against Ron is bigotry against his age.
