Ron Paul in the Air Force
Ron Paul is a proud Air Force veteran. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the U.S. Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. During his military service Ron Paul spent time on the ground in Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Ethiopia and other countries.
Ron Paul is very popular with the military. He receives more donations from active duty military personnel than all other Republican candidates combined.
Ron and Carol: Married for 56 Years
Ron Paul has been married to his wife Carol Wells since 1957. They have five children: Ronald, Lori, Rand, Robert, and Joy. Paul's son Rand is the junior senator from the state of Kentucky.

I presume that older Ron Paul supporters are wealthy enough that they will not miss Social Security when their Return-to-the-19th-Century candidate abolishes it. When the U.S. wipes out pensions for its senior citizens, it will take its rightful place as a Third World nation.

Face the facts! We have to end entitlements. Entitlements are what got us to
where we are via the Federal Reserve System. No, we cannot just abolish them overnight! But, they can be phased out, say giving them to people 55 and older
until they die. I am referring to Social Security and Medicare specifically.
Back in 1913 and before, if you made $100.00 in a month, you did not pay taxes on earning it or spending it. Everyone who was responsible had no problem
making a living then. But, enter the Federal Reserve System; inflation, taxes,
the Depression, bailouts to other central banks, etc., we set ourselves up to where we are now! I can forfeit S.S. and Medicare if the damn government stays out
of my checkbook!

Ron Paul is an extremist, an enemy of Civil Rights, women’s rights, and entitlements. He gave a keynote address to the racist John Birch Society in 2008. His views combine plutocracy with Christian reconstructionism. He isn’t even a true libertarian. And he was dead wrong about Libya, with his knee-jerk isolationism. Ron Paul is as much a fringe candidate as Michele Bachmann.
