Ron Paul is a proud Air Force veteran. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the U.S. Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. During his military service Ron Paul spent time on the ground in Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Ethiopia and other countries.
Ron Paul is very popular with the military. He receives more donations from active duty military personnel than all other Republican candidates combined.
Ron and Carol: Married for 56 Years
Ron Paul has been married to his wife Carol Wells since 1957. They have five children: Ronald, Lori, Rand, Robert, and Joy. Paul's son Rand is the junior senator from the state of Kentucky.

“As a medical doctor, Ron Paul routinely lowered fees or worked for free in order to refuse to accept Medicaid or Medicare payments.” – I think that is because Paul really believes in liberty and practices what he preaches. People who understand liberty, have to be fully sentient human beings, and are therefore more charitable, because they do not rely on others to do what is right.

They have done a great job of brain washing people into thinking “If Iran get’s a bomb, The world will be no more!” And they have people thinking that doing nothing is an extremist view point, when in reality, it’s the correct, intelligent & moral thing to do. Most politicians are afraid of atheists. Ron Paul welcomes anyone that loves liberty and he does not wear his religion on his sleave, when it comes to his politics and his stance on liberty. Thomas Jefferson was accused of being an atheist and an anarchist, but he won the election by ignoring the name calling, and sticking to the issues.

N jobs created by the government and costing $M is balanced by $M being taken away from the private economy. It is easy for the government to point to the N jobs (from $M – $B from all of the government “middlemen” – handling fees). What is missing are the myriad of jobs that get lost. It is similar to the electrical power loss in the power transmission lines (15-40%) when the electrical “wealth” gets transferred from centralized power sources, like Hoover Dam to homes and businesses.
