Ron Paul is my President. Not perfect, but I’ll take him over any other candidate of either party. Have you even read his position statements (“the issues” tab on his website)?
Every other single candidate is pure establishment- the same old thing.

I’m about 80% on board with Ron Paul’s takes on issues. That plenty good enough for this small L libertarian to support someone like Ron. But I feel it’s time to pass the torch, especially at Ron’s age. Since his son Rand seem to be a work in progress, I suggest that the likes of Gary Johnson get more exposure and support. Thanks for being there, Ron. I voted for you as a prez candidate in 1988.

but the problem is that MSM keeps trying to marginalize him. so no matter what he says, or how good a catch-phrase may be, they -MSM- won’t popularize it.

I barely heard him speak at all. He needs a catching phrase like 999, but one that actually will work…

But, as is the trend anymore, every time Paul wins, they find a reason to get rid of the poll.

So before voting in this poll I went on Romney’s site and there was a list of polls where you can go vote for him. So I went ahead and voted for Dr. Paul in all 11 poles and Ron Paul was leading all of those polls by a far margin. I am not an American but this is the only guy who can actually make a positive difference.

29. Ron Paul is the most interesting man in the world.
30. Ron Paul had an awkward moment at a debate once, just to see what it was like.

Tough to say Ron Paul, he could hardly get a word in edge-wise at points, and as usual they completely left him out of certain issues. This is pretty tough.

While I’m all for Ron Paul, and I cannot see any of the others in office with a simultaneous smile on my face, I do think this poll is misplaced. If you are on RonPaul.com and you ask “who won the debate?” It’s pretty obvious the results you’ll get. If Michelle Bachman did the same thing, you would see a completely different slant on her site. Just think it’s silly to have a poll like that here.

@dan2lisa Well actually like I said in a previous comment, if you go to Romney’s site and check out his list of polls to vote for him, Ron Paul is leading in all of those polls.

If this was a commedy contest, Rick Perry wins hands down. But seriously, who do you think won the debate? POLL: Who won the 11/9/2011 CNBC/Oakland University/Michigan Republican Party GOP debate?Vote: http://www.wepolls.com/p/4866083

Absent a scoring system, there is no measure whereby to make that judgement.
Right now it’s all subjective opinion, “political science”

Paul didn’t get to speak much, but his message came through because the other candidates are stealing his positions.
Why won’t the party just back the genuine article?

BECAUSE… Ron Paul is ANTI-Big Government. Which is Anti-GOP platform.
The others, with the exception of Huntsman, are all going to promote MORE Government solutions.
Big Government IS THE PROBLEM, not a solution

The party won’t back the genuine article because the GOP is a huge supporter of BIG GOVERNMENT and Ron Paul’s plans all have something to do with decreasing the size of the Government. I believe he is correct. Audit the Fed and find out where the 14 Trillion Dollars that just up and disappeared went. After kill off the reserve. The fact that the United States uses a private bank to print their money and pays them interest on any money borrowed is rediculous. Apparently close to 3 Trillion Dollars of the US Debt is owed to the reserve. I agree with Ron Paul in bringing back the troops and closing down bases worldwide that cost the American people OVER One Trillion a year just to maintain. Ron Paul has the best plan out of all the candidates on either side of the table (Republican or Democrat). Either way Ron Paul is only one person. Even if he somehow is backed by the Republicans and then is elected as President without the backing of Congress (of which most of them are bought and paid for by Lobbyists) nothing will get done. If they do however put their personal agendas aside and work with Ron Paul they can fix the problem with America.

Huntsman is the only other Libertarian on stage and he did resonably will.
But the GOP is status quo Big Government and none of the others are willing to deal with the real problems facing our nation.
More BIG government, is NOT a solutions
Cut ONE TRILLION … is Ron Paul’s real and only solutoin.

COMPETITION…. in education and the Free Market Price Mechanism is the solution. Governements cannot continue to subsidize and shelter Union Run – State Funded Educationand and expect it to be competitive.
Ron Paul knows that the State Run Propaganda Machine “SCHOOLS” are failing BECUASE government is subsidizing them with cheap student loans, creating excess demand that drives up the price of educations.
Lack of COMPETITION, results in lower quality and higher price!

You bet, Ron Paul is spot on point, while the others tip toe around the issues with pseudo “plans” none of which will solve the big issues.
Our Government is simply TOO BIG! We can’t afford this monstrosity sucking out lifes blood.

All the GOP candidates, except for Dr Paul, are avoiding the Elephant in the room, that the Government is far too big and costly and is a drag on the economy.
We have Institutional Unemployment, CAUSED by Big Government policies and excess taxation.
