@DerekA.Coons
It isn’t just here where the majority thought he won. On all the media sites that sponsor these debates he is always the clear winner…then they take down the polls and either give some rediculous reason why they took it down or none at all. CNBC’s Managing Editor took down the poll and only after he received so many inquiries why (via telephone or email) went so far as to say that the poll was rigged by hackers or groups of people that were manipulating them (because everyone everywhere knows that Ron Paul knows every hacker everywhere…what stupidity). Yes many hours after the debate they had received around 8,000 votes by that time and the results which gave Ron Paul a 90% victory were shrugged off as being rigged. Had the Ron Paul supporters really rigged the polls I think they would have had more like 100,000 votes in less than an hour (not over 4 hours later).

Continued from above:
This is what you call the propaganda machine at work. The government after 9-11 passed legislation allowing use of the media to spread propoganda if it furthered the war on terror. The problem is that this very same legislation allows them to do anything they like on any media network without question. So if Big Government doesn’t like a man such as Dr. Ron Paul stating that he will take all the power away from the Government and return it to the people, then Big Government can shut down any story that furthers the popularity of that person. Afterall, popularity whether perceived or otherwise greatly influences voters. As the saying goes, out of site out of mind.

@wopsRtops@DerekA.Coons This polls have IP Addresess exclusively given to each voter. Ron Paul supporters can’t vote twice nor anyone else.. But, the media thats runs these polls fail to neglect mentioning that fact. What if we have been lied to by the media about Ron Pauls true polls numbers? And if he surpasses every other candidate and if the media reported this factually what an eye opener. Could you imagine how many people would take another look at him as the true frontrunner with the solutions to restore our economy and America back to a Constituitionally based government again?

Ron Paul did well in the debate. It’d be great to see him pull an upset in Iowa and really mix things up.

Yes he did, as always, but they learned from prior debates. I believe they, the media and the republican majority, don’t want him heard so they put more emphasis on Cain and Perry. Damn shame

What a joke. The link to the story you posted says Gingrich and Romney won. I think Gingrich did well enough but Romney?

I counted neutral and hostile questions in the debate and found Romney was asked 15 neutral, Perry and Gingrich 7, with Gingrich getting 1 hostile question, Cain was asked 6 neutral and 1 hostile on recent allegations, Bachman and Huntsman 5 neutral each, Santorum 3 neutral, and Paul 1 neutral but limited to “would you call” re crony capitalism, Paul 1 question because Romney mentioned him, and Paul 3 hostile questions. Weird to see such huge bias.

@HonestMedia Thanks for the questions break down. It is an interesting bias to see. I had hoped that the recent exposures of the media bias there would be a decrease of it to Ron Paul.

I can say unequivocally, the American people didn’t win. The debate was not even in giving all the candidates equal time. It’s quite obvious that NBC is pushing Mitt Romney who got almost twice as much time as any other candidate.
I support Ron Paul. He’s the only one who makes sense, tells it like it is, as opposed to what he thinks you want to hear, and has been spot on in his predictions. All you Ron Paul supporters, spread the word to all your friends and family to check out Ron Paul on-line. The media will never give him a chance, because they are already bought by the people who control the things he wants to change.

Not only the media, but the GOP are anti-Paul because of his “reduce and cut government” message.
Both the Media and GOP want Big Government solutions, and Ron Paul’s message anything but so they deliberately marginalize Paul.
It’s very simple, our Governement is going to take us down!

Didn’t get to see the debate because it was not streamed on line and I don’t get CNBC. But there is no way Ron Paul could not have won unless they didn’t ask him any questions. Yeah, that sounds about right.

maybe I missed something but WHY isn’t Ron Paul ever mentioned on the news after a debate. I’m in the Baltimore area and I never hear his name mentioned on ABC, CBS or Fox – what’s the reason?

Ron paul won hands down, but the media will never acknowledge that. They disqualified Ron Paul, just like Bill O’ Reilly did the other night. Ron Paul is the only one who threatens their corporate run, federal reserve backed system.
