I guess I was lucky I couldn’t find my TV remote and had to stream it on my laptop.

Each time Ron Paul took a question he had standing ovations. You can’t say that for the others. While Cain and Bauchman where over there arguing to bring back Gitmo and torture of prisoners as US operating policy he and Huntsman where the only two voices of reason. But they where both ignored by the moderators.

Ron Paul owned them when he tossed down the gauntlet with his comment to the effect that we don’t even trust Obama to run our health care, how can we trust him to be judge, jury and executioner for American Citizens in reference to the three Americans assassinated without due process by drones in Yemen…

Ron Paul was allowed to debate more after the debate went off the air. CBS knew exactly what they were doing. They make me sick, crooks crooks crooks

The VA has over 400 acres in Los Angeles given to them to be used exclusively for HOMELESS VET HOUSING and the VA refuses to provide housing. There are over 100,000 homeless Vet in America OVER 8k in Los Angles alone. Its sad the VA has to be sued to do the job they are getting pad to do by Vets. With all the bull-crap Obama his supporters and the Democrats like to feed us about what they think to do for Vets, why are VETS still homeless when give billions to foreigners & hostile nations who kill Americans??

CBS failed on the debate. How could they not televise the whole debate? The should not be allowed to hold any more debates.

PS taxation without representation is a form of bond slavery to a debt they are creating every minute. Usury is against God’s Law Period and anyone who practices it better check yourself.

Sorry, After last night it is official, I will still write him in no matter what and everyone should check their states rules on write in candidate. I really think they are so afraid that he will win Dems and Repubs together and win the whole show. As for my family our votes will be write in if he does not get nominated. I will personally not vote for more wars and break the backs of the American people under tax slavery.

He needs to buy a half hour of time on cbs or nbc and just talk about the issues. If the media won’t give him the time we need to donate so he can buy the time!! And we need celebrity and political endorsements! Donate to the moneybomb today!!!

4 minutes 39 seconds, great clip. Paul is exactly right. The rule of law comes first. Un-declared wars are illegal and leading us down a nasty path. Ron Paul 2012 !!!

89 seconds? That is deplorable. Every candidate should have the same amount if time. I am sick and tired of the media picking our candidates for us. And I am also sick of uninformed voters.

Some of you may have noticed a poll on CBS during the latter portion of the debate. It was quickly disabled and pulled from the site once Ron Paul established a major lead.

CBS’ handling of airtime this debate was unconscionable, and borderline immoral. Given the e-mail posted by Bachman that ties airtime to polling numbers, Ron Paul should have been given 5-6 minutes of airtime in the first hour and 2-3 in the second half hour.

Of course, the idea that airtime should be based on polling numbers is patently ridiculous. Those ahead in the polls already get additional free publicity in news coverage. Election events should not allow them to capitalize further on their poll lead. Rather than help level the playing field and create more opportunity for greater variety in the discourse on american foreign and domestic policy, this format increases the advantage of monied and popular candidates, making a mockery of American “democracy.” CBS has torn the veil and revealed the extent to which American elections are 1) popularity contests and 2) opportunities for media outlets to increase profits–in this case without even maintaining the appearance of unbiased journalism.

Thanks CBS for restricting the discourse.

@David C. Maybe many supporters should e-mail CBS and give bad blog reviews to them regarding yet another blackout by the host of these Presidental Debates. Do you think that publically they would even acknowlege this unfair inbalance? Probably not.

@Liberty I think that Ron Paul supporters are already doing this, but yeah, basically it won’t move the needle.

Thank you David. I watched the political debate tonight with a completely open mind, curious to know about each of the candidates running for office. I felt that Jon Huntsman made some very good points as he concluded that “The future of America should not be over in Afghanistan, or in Iraq” but rather “At home with educational and economic improvement”. Ron Paul though, did an extremely superb job, especially when juxtaposed against both the Ricks (Perry and Santorum) who seemed to have had far to many beers and violent video-games under their belts. Both Newt and Buchmann were frighteningly out of touch with reality. Thus Ron Paul’s ethical opinions and sensible words came like a breath of fresh air. Thank heavens for Ron Paul!

I was quite impressed with Ron Paul’s arguments in the debate this evening. I found his views to be sensible, courageous, moral and unlike the other candidates, not driven by unrealistic fear or excessive aggression. After carefully watching the presentation of each candidate I found that Ron Paul was superior in views and in character.
