Back in 1980s, Dr. Jerry Falwell asked me if I would serve as the executive director for the Florida Moral Majority, which I did. I am happy and pleased to support the candidacy of Congressman Ron Paul for President of these United States of America.
Congressman Paul has a proven record that is faithful to the Constitution, that is faithful to the principles of liberty, and I can think of no one better qualified to be our next president. Dr. Ron Paul introduced the Sanctity of Human Life Act in the Congress, which, had the other congressmen and the White House also supported, would have defined life as beginning at conception. In essence, this bill would have ended Roe versus Wade. Ron Paul also is also a supporter of the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. And when it comes to the second amendment, we don’t have a better friend in Washington than Dr. Ron Paul. Dr. Paul also believes that a nation should be strong and secure. Well, this makes sense because he himself is an air force veteran. At the same time, he understands that we should not be the aggressor when it comes to war. As such, back in 2001, he introduced the Marque and Reprisal Bill, which would have taken care of the Osama Bin Ladens of this world without taking America into a civil war in the Middle East and changing America’s doctrine to one of aggression. Instead, he believes that we should defend properly our freedoms. This is much the same way that Thomas Jefferson dealt with the Barbary Pirates, as you recall, back in our history.
You see, Ron Paul understands the Constitution, he understands that there is a constitutional way to deal with all of these problems, and he knows how to do it. Ron Paul and his wife Carol have been married for more than 50 years. His track record is impeccable. “Dr. No”, as he is called on Capitol Hill because of his votes against excess spending and unconstitutional laws, Dr. Ron Paul is just the kind of man we need in the White House.
Without hesitation or reservation, I am more than pleased to support the candidacy of Dr. Ron Paul for President of these United States of America. I trust you’ll join me.
