Ron Paul is a proud Air Force veteran. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the U.S. Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. During his military service Ron Paul spent time on the ground in Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Ethiopia and other countries.
Ron Paul is very popular with the military. He receives more donations from active duty military personnel than all other Republican candidates combined.

Ron Paul has been married to his wife Carol Wells since 1957. They have five children: Ronald, Lori, Rand, Robert, and Joy. Paul's son Rand is the junior senator from the state of Kentucky.

Even if he is not elected he still successfully changed the political principles of an entire generation. This is more powerful than being President (especially since congress won’t let him change much.) But in time the next generation will take over and the Govt. will change naturally. I am 28, I never liked politics, now I am a Libertarian for life! And I am not the only one! Ron Paul!

I do like how the reporter seems to be taken and enthused by the ideas himself. Judging by his last comments hopefully he’ll have the realisation that civil and economic liberties can only be temporarily divided.

No but really I could not be more sarcastic and our entire world’s system needs to change, not just America’s. It’s pretty much the same system everywhere, and it sucks, and as a youth in university, I don’t see a bright future for myself. If Ron Paul wins and can change this world, I will follow him to the end of the earth, even though I live in Canada
. Ron Paul cured my apathy… I’ve heard other people say it, and I never understood it. But now I do. I care again.

Good question and I have a perfect answer for you. If the government legalized murder, I think I would have to go on a killing spree. You see… I don’t really have any control over my life, so if someone tells me something is legal, I will do it. I wasn’t raised to be human, I was raised to be a machine, and as long as the government keeps programming my functions, and keeps debugging me so I don’t screw up, you have nothing to worry about. Not programming me causes errors.

Legalizing drugs does not force you to do drugs at all. That’s like saying if the government legalized murder, you have to go on a killing spree. Ask yourself, does that make any sense? RP 2012

How can you possibly want to legalize drugs! If he legalizes drugs, then probably everyone will start injecting themselves with heroin, including myself! I don’t have any control over my life, I drink because it’s legal, and legalizing all drugs will force me to do all drugs! I’m scared… I need the government to hold me and protect me from my own crazy self!

Agreed, nicoSF5. At least Rivera didn’t agree there. Why are these people so BAFFLED by us (the youth) being concerned about civil liberties, fiscal responsibility, and peaceful, LOGICAL foreign policy?
