Ron Paul in the Air Force
Ron Paul is a proud Air Force veteran. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the U.S. Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. During his military service Ron Paul spent time on the ground in Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Ethiopia and other countries.
Ron Paul is very popular with the military. He receives more donations from active duty military personnel than all other Republican candidates combined.
Ron and Carol: Married for 56 Years
Ron Paul has been married to his wife Carol Wells since 1957. They have five children: Ronald, Lori, Rand, Robert, and Joy. Paul's son Rand is the junior senator from the state of Kentucky.

Right. A reduction in the increase in spending isn’t a spending cut. It’s playing with numbers. Makes sense — we cannot overextend resources to be “the policeman of the world.” Personally I think there times involvement is justified, but not everywhere all the time. Paul is much criticized for his position on foreign policy but hearing him explain it in depth, it is not the “crazy” or “irresponsible” position establishment media makes it out to be. He makes some very valid points.

Whether one is supporting Ron Paul for the nomination or not, his ideas a logical, based in facts and worth seriously listening to. I genuinely respect Congressman Paul for his dedication to the country, his intelligence and his willingness to speak out even when what he says is mocked or ignored by mainstream media.
