It seems to me that the problem is that America has become a democracy rather than a republic. This seems to me, and Ron Paul never addresses this, because there are no legal protections for the constitution. Surely this should have been dealt with decades ago?
What’s the point of a constitution if succesive presidents can just ignore it? Surely there should have been put in place legal safeguards that made this impossible? Without legal backup you might as well not bother.

I would support RP for President if he got the nominee, but I, along with MANY others, are concerned about his ability to LEAD on issues and work to get things passed. He’s voted the correct way for 30 years and that’s great, but if only a tiny % of the things he votes on pass, it kind of shows his ability to lead an effort on those issues. I just hope RP supporters don’t start another occutard movement if he doesn’t get the nomination and alienate other Republicans over it.

We have to have a rock. We have to have a standard(Constitution). If we don’t have a standard then its left up to interpretations. Interpretations and politicians have a long history of killing innocent countries, and we already have one foot out-the-door! Ron Paul 2012!!!

Making a comment that Dr. Ron Paul is a neo-confederate racist, is absurd. Inappropriate use of language (potty mouth) illuminates that this person has some serious issues.

I fear that the stupid will do is in again like when they re-elected GW Bush or Obama. Wake up America and do your research they are all part of the problem except Ron Paul. Stop voting for these guys as they are the reason America is so screwed up. And did anyone notice in the last debate that no one would debate the issues or disagree with Ron. Not even CNN pointed that out. What the heck is going on here?

‘Everyone step on his toes!’ Gingrich security harasses Ron Paul supporter’

Dillard, a 29-year-old Ron Paul supporter from this suburb near Orlando, arrived to vote at his precinct at Winderemere Baptist Church early Tuesday morning. Pulling into the parking lot, Dillard noticed a man outside the polling place with a Gingrich sign. He decided to run home, slip into his “Ron Paul Rocks America” T-shirt, grab a “Ron Paul 2012″ sign from his garage, and return to give his candidate some representation outside the precinct after he cast his vote.

Dillard found a quiet spot along a sidewalk lined with tiny American flags and held up his sign. Little did he know, Newt Gingrich had chosen that very spot to make his first Primary Day campaign stop.

When Gingrich’s bus pulled up, Dillard stood silently holding his sign and watched the news-media horde swamp the candidate. Gingrich stepped down from the bus and made a beeline for Dillard. He stopped in front of Dillard and his sign and parked himself for a round of handshaking and pictures with voters. The placement couldn’t have been worse. There was Gingrich, standing with his wife Callista at their first event of the day, and a giant Ron Paul sign floated inches from their crowns.

Noticing the awkward optics, Gingrich aides and security personnel swarmed Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich’s security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn’t budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard’s bare foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich supporter kicked the sandal away.

“Don’t kick me!” Dillard said to the man who knocked away his sandal. More members of Gingrich’s security retinue approached, shoving their shoulders and chests in front of him.

“Just block him!” a Gingrich campaign aide said. “Everyone step on his toes!”

Gingrich supporters handed a “Newt 2012″ yard sign up to the front to put in front of Dillard’s Paul sign. The two signs, zipping back and forth inches from Gingrich’s head, circled each other in the air like fighter jets in a dogfight.

When the candidate finished taking pictures with voters, furious Gingrich aides grilled Dillard.

“If we did this to you, you guys would be furious,” said an aide before stomping back toward the bus. “They have no class. No class.”

Does anyone know who Mark Levin is? He Bashes Ron Paul all of the time and brainwashes to listeners to agree with the typical MSM candidates. He calls us Ron Paul enthusiast’s Paulbots, Paultards and calls Ron LoonPaul, Wrongpaul, and a crackpot. Don’t resort to name calling like the media does. More reasonable people are seeing name calling as an illogical and an inarticulate turnoff. So Bash those who slander someone the wise and peaceful way and more people will become drawn to that sort of tactic.

I like Ron Paul a lot more than everyone else, but I disagree with a couple of things. I dont like how he is against Unions. I dont like how he wants to get out of ALL the countries. I know he should get out of the majority of them, but places like South Korea they need to keep troops in. N.Korea wants to attack S.Korea, and if U.S. Troops leave S.Korea, North Korea will certainly attack them. It will happen for sure, so the troops need to stay in certain countries, but get out of most.

Hello Galsia, I’m sure that if you did some fact checking on the Web you would see that the world would not be in danger if we where to bring our troops back to our borders. South Korea is a very powerful country with a very powerful military, they would surely win in any skirmish against the North. South Korea also has many strong allies and would be assisted in any operation they decided to undertake for their well being, trust me when I say the world would not let the troublesome North harm our beloved South.

I don’t think you are realizing that there are a lot of good and powerful countries out there with better capability to protect the other good ones. My children shouldn’t have to pay for someone else’s protection nor should they be put in any danger for them if it isn’t their will. This is what America is about, freedom, not being the world police as our Unconstitutional Federal Government would like us to believe. People came here to be safe and to be free, not to be forced by a Federal Entity to succumb to their will. Please do some research and you will see that not all our fed tells us about other regions is true.

I have sent a letter to Dr. Paul’s campaign about organizing a seminar on gathered information and facts regarding, politics and world happenings. In it I suggest using Youtube videos and reliable sites in our research and comparing the first hand knowledge to what the Mainstream Media and our Government have told us about the situations. People deserve the truth, I hope you can find some here on the web, if you look it is out there.

Best wishes and I hope you find the information you need,

      Dr.K

Those are conflicts in the middle east! They are going after terrorism not specific countries, A war is what is declared on a Country. Plus the whole point of those conflict is oil. Oklahoma is the worlds largest supply of Natural Gas, that’s what we should be focusing on is our own fuel and for get about the oil in the Middle East!

Attention Fellow Ron Paul Supporters! How do we make more of an impact? The comments here are great and all, but we’re really just preaching to the choir – what are we going to do from a practical application standpoint to get our man elected? YouTube-ing comments is not enough to fend off the Establishment media brainwashing that most of America is still being fed. Boots on the street is what we need! For those who are engaged at this level, please provide direction for the rest of us!

Are Floridians this STUPID? Only SIX-percent of young Florida voters (18-29) showed up to the polls> and Paul (supposedly) got seven-percent of the vote?
What was even funnier was that over fifty percent of HIS voters were over 50 years of age.
I really hope the REST of the country shows up, cuz the Floridians have proven how little they care about THIS country.
What foolish people. How do they not get what the truth is? BLOWS my mind!
