Rand thinking his father's supporters would support what he does was his biggest mistake.
Still love Ron, I don't give a shit about Rand.

Hisstory has shun us, that a Paul falls far from histree.
stRANDdud are we now?
If he sticks to his values when voting, doing things to raise his prominence in the Senate and convince other senators to join his bandwagon has my total support. If he ever votes for earmarks or anything he's spoken against though, my support is gone. To this date, he hasn't turned on his Senate voting record. Its not about getting 400 Ron Pauls in Congress, its about making Ron Paul's ideas politically beneficial to self-serving Congressmen.
Keep your friend close, but keep your friend closer. Is Rand in there for a reason other than selling out ????, could we in October be watching some news report that blows Mitts chances out the water and leaves his father as the only option. Let us judge with consideration.
It's clear to me there have been silent threats against them by people you don't see that make decisions. And that the Paul's clearly talk revolution but won't spill the blood necessary for it.
It's a real shame that Rand is shutting up shop before the final votes are in and compromise is his ambition. They would gain more respect if they lost and endorsed no one.
Considering Mitt Romney has flip-flopped on virtually every issue i find it amazing that the "Common Ground" issue that Rand chose to use Auditing the Fed, Mitt Romney has NEVER supported looking into the Fed at all EVER. In Fact he wont even criticize Bernake just look at the add put out by the Ron Paul 2012 literally clip after clip of Romney saying "I'm not going to waste time on the Fed Bernake is great." Seriously i get endorsing Romney for political reasons but don't insult my inteligence
It just means that when labeling him we should evaluate his individual positions, and RIGHT NOW Rand Paul is endorsing warmonger Mitt Romney. Rand Paul also openly LIED about the nomination process being over, which it is not, and he suddenly discovered the overwhelmingly "compatible" side of Romney, like... that he has a family, too... totally disconnecting Rand from his potential supporters. I believe we should not get overexcited about it, and stick to those who best support our position.
That Ron Paul is allowed to endorse anybody he chooses, is exactly my point. It should not concern us that much. As for my claim of him not being "a decided libertarian" I was referring to Rand Paul's own description as a constitutional conservative sharing libertarian viewpoints. This does not automatically make him a copy of Ron Paul, or a strict libertarian. This is definitely not to say, that Rand Paul cannot be considered a libertarian by action.
I don't know how often I have to say this, but Rand is the most libertarian member of the US Senate. He is one of only seven senators to vote against the NDAA and you people don't credit him with libertarian sentiments? No wonder we libertarians can't win elections if this is how we treat our best people. He is allowed to endorse anybody he damned well pleases. It's time this movement grew up and learned to draw a distinction between strategy and treason.
Ron Paul has a bill in Congress to AUDIT THE FED.
I'm sure that he cleared it with his father beforehand.
Who he endorses is his damned business, not yours. Treason? You don't know the meaning of the word. Rand Paul is a great senator and that's all I care about.
What are you talking about? Ron Paul has a bill in Congress to audit the fed. Ending the fed is the eventual goal, but the audit is step one.
Who's the Flip-flopper now, Rand?
At 1:56 he said he has a lot of common ground with Mitt Romney, does that mean that Mitt Romney wants to end wars and end the Fed or does that mean that Rand Paul doesn't care about those issues anymore?
