Rand Paul: Why I Endorsed Romney

Rand Paul appeared on the Peter Schiff Show today to explain why he endorsed Mitt Romney, how he came to respect many of his fellow senators even though he doesn’t agree with them on all the issues, and what he is doing to advance the cause of liberty.

Later, Rand Paul joined Daily Paul Radio with Kurt Wallace to discuss his endorsement of Mitt Romney and to answer the questions submitted by the Daily Paul community.

  1. Sarah, you're a "Sheeple Fool" -

If Obama wins, in 4 years America will no longer exist.
If Romney wins, in 4 years America will no longer exist.

Rand Paul will never be the President of the United States of America.

  2. Rand swayed me toward his side with this interview. While I wasn't up in arms over his endorsement, I wasn't happy about it either. I think I disagree on about the same number of issues with Rand as with Ron. Neither are perfect (in my view), but both are geared toward liberty in many ways. I will not vote for Mitt Romney, no matter who endorses him.

  5. I like Rand, I understand his logic. However, I believe he is lacking integrity. You can't get on us about being to into politics. "The political game", when he said he does not care who is the president, and endorsing Romney, so that he will help give you what you want, even though it's the way you have to work with certain people in the end it's a political game your playing, necessary? I'm sure, successful? probably, a game? definitely, a shame? yes

  6. You people fail to see that you have become the very "sheeple" you speak out against. Rand endorses Romney, you turn your back on Ron Paul and the revolution is in chaos...

This is precisely what the establishment wants. It's completely engineered and you all fell for it. You embarrass me.

  7. DO NOT let the momentum of this movement dissipate.

We will continue to take over the republican party. are you a liberty minded candidate? whom wants to run for a political position? The Fight has just begun!

The only way to take back this country is to take part in the political process. They will continue to take away your rights. We must replace these individuals with liberty minded candidates.

DO NOT let the momentum of this movement dissipate.

  9. What a bunch of hot air!! Hey Rand -- not only are you endorsing Romney, YOU ARE CAMPAIGNING WITH HIM. The Campaign 4 Liberty was taken over by neo-cons. Ron Paul people -- Rand is out to get your money. Do NOT fall for this nonsense. It's up to us! We need to stick together. Don't become an Obama-like supporter and revolve around hope and change and make excuses for these politicians.

And you can fight all you want, if Romney wants war and the majority of congress wants war we are going to have war. if Ron Paul don't want war and the majority of congress does. we are not going to have war because the president has to sign for it. and BTW the sopa cispa act passed house, no thanks to repub's. 16. The federal government needs to stay out of the issue so it can be sorted out by the individual states. There is no progress beyond the stagnancy of Roe v Wade. For this divisive issue to arrive at any consensus it must be given the latitude of state by state jurisdiction.
Life begins at conception but a significant minority still deny the scientific and obvious facts. Life has been one long continuum through the history of man. As long as we live among the godless there will be this division.

  20. I believe he is in the 8 to 9 hundred area when it comes to the count. But even then, why is he having delegates sign affidavits if he is so sure he has the nomination wrapped up?
