The basis of the US is that the ruled and the ruler can be one in the same. It's a social experiment in which the people rule themselves (which Dr. Paul vehemently supports)....but the elites don't like that. They don't want the people ruling themselves because it takes them out of the equation. Big government (the direction which our country is heading) is a massive step back in human evolution.

Inflation transfers wealth from savers to borrowers. It doesn't have to be an economic catastrophe. It's like the whole society declares bankruptcy at once and has its debt wiped out. Societies usually emerge from these events okay.
Dumbed-down journalists. Silly, superficial, dreary.
4:28 He is just saying that the fed will keep on keeping on as long as they can, RP can't stop them right now and everything is tied to "debt money" in THIS type of economy. period.
Ron Paul 2012! There is still a change, he should stand independent...
Australia for Ron Paul 2012!!! Don't give up America... he's the only GOOD one you have running...
All the people on the left care about is what benefits they can get from the governmetn.. Even under obama there is no anti-war left anymore!
All the people on the right care about is how big and involved the military is around the world. Bush didnt' cut back on benefits, he even expanded medicare, yet no one on the right bitched at him for it!
All three look like deer in the headlights.
Why didn't he win the Republicrat nomination? Because he's too honest and principled...
How ironic that the only time the media DOESN'T ignore Ron Paul is when they need to consult an Economic expert! When we have someone like Dr. Paul who clearly and thoroughly understands Economics, why the hell do we STILL allow idiots to actually manage/run the Economy?!
By the way, can we please stop with the stupid conspiracy theories already?! Dr. Paul has NOT suddenly changed his mind about the FED!
look at my latest vid. it clearly shows him crying in captivity
Ron Paul 2012!!!!!!!!!
Ron Paul DID NOT say anything positive about the Fed. He said the same thing he's been saying for decades. Listen to what he said.
Wow you people have no idea what your talking about. Ron Pauls better off without you if your mind is this weak. The last couple post have it right.
People please! Ron Paul did NOT say he supports the Fed, he was simply stating what is happening and what is going to happen unless we do something about it. You need to listen better.
How was that saying positive things about the FED?
To ears trained to filter out statist rhetoric it might sound like he said something positive about the Fed but what I think he was saying was that the Fed would be there to liquidate debt through inflation and prevent either defaults or austerities, which the bankers would prefer since would come out of an inflation better than the poor. It was exasperation, not hope, gentlemen.
