Actually almost everyone will end up pulling more out than they put in. That is why the system is insolvent. If everyone was putting more in than they pulled out there wouldn’t be a problem.

He may get a social security check, but he doesn’t allow for extra security detail, fly first class, or accept a congressional pension once he retires.

Sure it is, Think of this, You pay in all your working life. Without doing the math. Lets say you pay in 1 mil over the span of your working life. The retirement age is 65, they will move this number to 70 or 75 by the time you retire. So from say 70 till death, do you think you will get the 1 mil back…. hell no, Its a scam on all of us.

Welcome to you in Poland! As Ron Paul says: Freedom is popular. And I agree with you, always a struggle. Nice to know there are so many of us around the world.

Exactly, I’m with you. I think that even if you’re against people doing drugs though, there’s enough reason to legalize and regulate them.

Exactly, in fact were still winning states like Iowa for example and then on top of the wins. Delegates are suing the GOP, so there are many factors here that in play that can change this whole game around, If Paul doen’t become president he will no doubt have a huge voice at the convention. The convention and this election is just a Battle, We will win the war. This is a movement that will not be silenced and is a force that will keep building. This is just the beginning of what will take place

If drugs were legal, would you shoot yourself full of heroin and go drive?

actually if they wanted access to drugs they should be anti paul, they have great access to drugs in the illegal market now but if they became legal, went to stores and put dealers out of business then how would young kids buy them from stores? In fact it is harder for kids to get alcohol than pot yet alcohol is the legal one.

I wonder just how much gold ole Ronnie boy owns…. 30 years preaching the same message? I bet he’s got hundreds of pounds of the stuff…. He deserves every ounce too for all the information he drummed into all our heads over the years. Better him than the banksters… But make no mistake, he has a vested interest in promoting gold and the gold standard. He values individual liberty more than gold IMO, but he still is a millionaire. We can’t forget that all humans have ulterior motives. RP2012

Regarding pot smoking and intelligence, latest studies I saw which addressed this showed that across the board, people who smoke weed were more likely to be 1) slightly more intelligent, and 2) significantly more content with life. It’s not a cause-effect relationship mind you, just that intelligent people think for themselves and realize that it’s just a plant and makes you feel good with minimal consequences.

The government cares: bitter almond trees, 4-gallon flush toilets, pangamic acid (vitamin B15) are banned from importation into the United States.

People are going to do drugs regardless of their legality. Their legality decides who profits on the sale of them, how they are sold, etc. Someone who uses illegal drugs can make the decision to drive while under the influence now!… Making them legal only changes how users are dealt with. You should not be put into a cage for being addicted to something. It’s incredibly inhumane. Addition is a sickness/disease, and should be treated like one.

That doesn’t even mean that all drugs would be legal. Ron Paul just wants to stop the federal government from controlling it. States have the authority to ban substances and many will do so if the federal government stops their “war on drugs”.

Dude, millions of people already smoke pot on a regular basis as well as drive while high. You assume that no one does drugs because it’s illegal, but the second they are legal, tons of people will start using them. I haven’t met one person that said they love smoking weed, but don’t do so because it’s against the law.
