Ron Paul is a proud Air Force veteran. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the U.S. Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968. During his military service Ron Paul spent time on the ground in Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Ethiopia and other countries.
Ron Paul is very popular with the military. He receives more donations from active duty military personnel than all other Republican candidates combined.
Ron and Carol: Married for 56 Years
Ron Paul has been married to his wife Carol Wells since 1957. They have five children: Ronald, Lori, Rand, Robert, and Joy. Paul's son Rand is the junior senator from the state of Kentucky.

“Crony capitalism” assumes there is any other form. Why wouldn’t the logic of self interested market competition lead to the best positioned and most competitive actors co-opting the state or creating one to insulate them from market pressures and minimize both cost and risk? It’s the same invisible hand. Simple concept, yet nobody seems to grasp it. Any attempt to stop this from happening would simply be labeled “big government” by the very same champions of the free market, wouldn’t it?

Because he’s driven by deeper ideological convictions, losing something like a nomination does not impact Paul like it would a typical politician. It’s THAT characteristic that makes him a CURRENT threat. I disagree with several of Paul’s beliefs, but I increasingly find the majority very compelling. As our 2 parties continue to fail Ron Paul looks better each day.
