The audacity to assert that there is some mysterious reason that the FED Reserve should be shielded from complete transparency and not yield oversight to congress is simply a display of stupidity or conspiracy of thievery. FED Reserve decisions should be wholly based upon the best interests of the people that provide them monetary powers. The FED should absolutely face political pressure from the We the People. We demand accurate information on the motivation of FED actions.

I wonder if Ron will speak a bit more clearly on 9/11 after he retires from Congress.. I’m not saying he needs to say “anything” about conspiracy theories but rather use the facts as he touched on and question the Commission report on whether it could have been avoided (easily avoided.. =/ RIP those poor folks’ families)

The Fed was put in place as inflation/deflation control, not to tinker with market interest rates.. and this is exactly why Bernanke doesn’t want an audit – as he says. If the Fed can’t be abolished at least make them stick to why the were designed.
