Last week the House passed yet another bill placing sanctions on Iran and Syria, bringing us closer to another war in the Middle East. We are told that ever harsher sanctions finally will force the targeted nations to bend to our will. Yet the ineffectiveness of previous sanctions teaches us nothing; in truth sanctions lead to war more than they prevent war.
Until last year, Libyan sanctions were touted as a great success story. The regime would change its behavior. Yet NATO bombed the country anyway.
Last week we learned that President Obama signed an intelligence “finding” directing the CIA to covertly assist rebels in Syria. The administration seems determined to fight yet another war in Syria that has nothing to do with American national interests.
We already know that a similar “finding” was signed under the latest Bush administration directing US intelligence to undermine the Iranian government and promote regime change there. Neoconservatives have long demanded that we overthrow the Syrian government before moving on to war against Iran. This bellicosity continues regardless of which party is in the White House.
In Syria we see once again we see how our interventionist policies backfire and make us less secure. Recent news reports point to ties between the Syrian opposition and al-Qaeda (and other extremist groups). A recent article in the Guardian, a British newspaper, exclaimed that, “Al-Qaida turns tide for rebels in battle for eastern Syria.” The article quotes an al-Qaeda leader in Syria saying that he meets with the main US-backed Syrian rebel organization, the Free Syrian Army, “almost every day.” So by promoting civil war in Syria we end up fueling al-Qaeda.
According to another recent press report, German intelligence services estimate that nearly 100 terrorist attacks have been committed by al-Qaeda or related organizations in Syria over the past six months. Last month a suicide bomber in Syria killed a defense minister and several top government officials. The US government, which has been fighting a “War on Terror” for more than a decade now, refused to condemn that act of terrorism.
This raises the question of whether the US administration is supporting the same people in Syria that we have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed these same concerns earlier this year when asked whether the US has been reluctant to arm the Syrian rebels. She answered, “To whom are you delivering them? We know al-Qaida. Zawahiri is supporting the opposition in Syria. Are we supporting al-Qaida in Syria?”
That is a very good question. It clearly demonstrates that the United States has no business at all being involved in the Syrian civil war. In the 1980s we supported a resistance movement in Afghanistan that later gave birth to elements of al-Qaeda and the Taliban. When will we learn our lesson and stop intervening in conflicts we don’t truly understand, conflicts that have nothing to do with American national interests?

Just got this email from John Tate which some of you got as well. This fight should have started long ago, so only time will tell where it goes now. People are just too tied to the party and the illusion that Romney/Ryan are going to save this country. I’m putting out whatever I can, but they simply don’t want to know the truth.
The credentials fight you and I were expecting to have in Tampa has already started.
The Committee on Contests recently issued a ruling on the establishment’s challenge to Ron Paul’s delegates and alternates who were duly elected in Maine, and on our challenges to the outright cheating that occurred in Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Oregon (alternates only).
Despite Ron Paul’s supporters being so clearly in the right in these four states, the establishment is so far refusing to rule fairly and seat our duly elected delegates and/or alternates.
Here’s a brief summary of the bogus challenge made by the GOP establishment against us in Maine, as well as our challenges to the cheating that occurred elsewhere:
*** In Maine, where Ron Paul supporters held a clear majority at the State Convention, the establishment is attempting to unseat the state’s duly elected delegates and alternates – acting like sore losers in the process. The challenge to our delegates in Maine is so bogus that Republican Governor Paul LePage – who is one of the few delegates not being challenged by the establishment – has declared he will not attend the Republican National Convention unless Ron Paul’s delegates and alternates who were duly elected are seated;
*** In Louisiana, establishment “big wigs” used threats, intimidation, and force – literally smashing the bones of one gentleman – to shut out Ron Paul supporters who had a clear majority at the State Convention;
*** In Oregon, the State Chairman blatantly ignored the votes of the Convention, taking it upon himself to replace the duly elected alternate delegates with an “appointed” slate chocked-full of establishment cronies;
*** In Mitt Romney’s home state of Massachusetts, corrupt Party officials changed the rules after the game was over – kicking out Ron Paul’s duly elected delegates and alternates and replacing them with their hand-picked cronies.
As you can see, the Old Guard establishment doesn’t care about cheating, lying, abuse of process, and high-handedness in our Party.
All they seem to care about is maintaining their iron grip over the Republican Party.
But Ron Paul’s number-one goal for the RNC is making sure his delegates and alternates who deserve to be seated in Tampa are credentialed.
So if the establishment wants a fight in Tampa, rest assured we’re going to give them one.
Currently, our campaign lawyers and staff are furiously working to analyze and craft the appropriate response to the Committee’s rulings, and we’ll be sure to keep you informed as we move forward in the process.
And believe me, we will not sit idly by and watch the establishment run roughshod over Ron Paul’s supporters who were illegally railroaded by the GOP.
We will stand up and fight for all of Ron Paul’s delegates and/or alternates in these four states – and we will not back down.
Of course, one would think the Romney campaign would want these conflicts resolved so they didn’t become major issues at the Convention.
But so far they’ve sat idly by on the sidelines.
Hopefully they’ll change their do-nothing approach once they realize we’re serious about going all-out to win these credentials battles.
And remember, nearly 90 major media outlets have already reserved a spot at our “We are the Future Rally.”
So if the GOP goes through with these bogus challenges, they won’t be able to hide behind their iron curtain. They will be exposed by the press.
The good news is, the Committee on Contests’ ruling is not the final word in this fight.
The battle will be decided by the Credentials Committee in Tampa – where we are very organized and prepared to take action.

The evil slicky Jessie Benton & al, were satisfied, knowing their carreer will continue with RAND reelection in the GOP.
After this dreathful moment, Ron Paul’s campaing crew, stopped helping delegates to fight the fraud of the RNC. Supporters and delegates were left alone in the rat hole with no hope of seing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Now that Romney has picked Paul Ryan, does that make you more or less likely to vote for Gary Johnson?
Please DO NOT write in Ron Paul. If a 3rd party has ever had a chance to have a decent showing, it’s now. Even if he doesn’t win, we need 15% to get into the debates. It doesn’t look like Ron Paul will be going 3rd party either. If he was, he wouldn’t be backing off so much ahead of the convention.
It is time to devote your time to Gary Johnson.

We have the illusion that when we go to the polls, or vote by mail, that our vote counts. I have sent everyone I know Hacking Democracy and share what Bev Harris told me when I talked to her early in the new year. We have to wake people up that the elections are rigged in many cities and counties across America. We still believe in the illusion that they want us to believe that our vote matters. This is what I will work on in my state=bringing integrity back to this process. Our secretary of state GOP candidate this year knew nothing about election or voter fraud, so we sent him information and I will find out now whether he has done his homework. The one we have now wanted to have internet voting, so I think that says it all there. She has done nothing for our state. I wish we could go to Tampa, but I will be there in spirit with my fellow patriots and pray as many people are there as possible armed with their cell phones to record what happens there by the military/police and the RNC, etc.

Democrats and Republicans are absolutely the SAME in that they could “Give-a-Damn” about the American people. The only thing that they care about is enriching themselves and passing legislation that enriches their Campaign “Bribers” (I mean Donors). We, the American people are good for ONLY ONE THING – VOTES! But as soon as they get elected, they break promises and govern against the Will of the People and in favor of their Campaign Bribers. The Democrats and Republicans both have increased our National Debt to unsustainable levels. They’re both “In-the-Pockets” of the Wall Street Bankers, the Special Interests and the Money Manipulators.
Absolutely NOTHING will change until we, the American people, get on the REAL issues – not the issues “made-up” by the Media.
