Never thought I’d see the day, I have more respect for the Dems then the GOP. …. I’m almost sure there something going on where the GOP is trying to self implode… Probably to reinvent itself as the Democratic Party so the Democratic Party can become the Socialist Party.

I disagree… I think different economic systems can ‘work’ but the price will be the freedoms of the society. Nothing lasts forever… not even real freedom and economic prosperity. There are always going to be people who say “Government…… HALP!” I hope things don’t get too bad. I don’t feel like having the government push me around.

Economics will solve the problems. You can make a lot of promises but you can’t rewrite the rules of economics, the Russians tried. An inevitable default is in the future, those most dependent will be the most hurt, then the world will be set right.

This country needs austerity, (if we don’t choose it, our bondholders will.) Economic rights? No individual has a “right” to my property, and I have no legal obligation to support another. Ron Paul is for the market forces of supply and demand determining wages. What obligation does someone in Michigan have to the residents of the east coast or of Louisianna? It is immoral to demand money from states that have no natural disasters to subsidize those states that are afflicted by them.

Or even better. let’s have a gold standard in a time where people survive paycheck to paycheck. They will not be able to buy any gold, meanwhile people are forced to pay back their paper money credit card and mortgage debt with gold. Will you RP supporters please read what he puposed for his presidential campaign? Ron was the most austerity crazy by far, puposing trillions of cuts into medicare, medicaid and foodstamps. In a time where many americans rely on those “entitlements” or correctly ECONOMIC RIGHTS. Ron Paul is against child labour laws, a minimum wage, and labour unions. RP will not help Sandy and Katrina victims before. It is their own fault they live where they do. RP is right but his solutions are dead WRONG!
