You kidding? Obama continued all the of Bush’s tax cuts for the top 1%. Obama’s giving trillions of dollars in bail out money to the big banks. Much of the money still has not be repaid. Obama is a puppet of the banking elites, the Vanderbilt, etc.

Ron Paul would have given the US the change Obama promised.

You already live in a country in which the GOVERNMENT IS THE MONOPOLY.

What Ron Paul talks about hasn’t been seen in this country in over 100 years if ever.

Ron Pauls policies lead to monopolies. The rich get richer. The poor get poorer.

I can certainly agree with Dr. Paul on the state of the government run education system in America, based on the level of unintelligent comments in this thread. They must be making comments on their free government phones while waiting in line to buy lobster at the grocery store with their ebt cards. Enjoy your stay at the FEMA camp slave!

Do the other idiots in congress really not agree with what he is saying? They have probably heard more from him than I have. Are they really that stupid? Or do they know hes right, and are just lying for power?

Authority and corruption go hand in hand. Just because he’s against blatant corruption as a policy position doesn’t mean he’s an honest person, unless you say rapists are honest just because they’re not murderers.

Why do people like Ron Paul so much? Yeah he was highly intelligent and responsible. Yeah he was for liberty and justice. Yeah he was honest and compassionate. Yeah he pushed for a government by and for the people. Well I guess those are good enough reasons.

Fascism and Socialism are the most popular beliefs with liberty being a small minority rather spoken as so or not. Recieving other people’s property and forcing your will own other’s are beloved by those on the beneficial side so freedom of self at times has a hard time competing but with honorable men and women like Dr. Ron Paul, as Paine once said, Though the flame of liberty may sometimes cease to shine, the coal can never expire. God Bless Ron Paul.

I remembered watching Fox News covering this…. All they said was that it was a “bye bye” farewell address, and showed a 5 second clip of it but chose the mildest part of the speech so it doesn’t expose the government’s authoritarianism… Seriously THAT should say something! Crooks! they’re nothing but crooks manipulating everything.

You don’t want free education, You want government to control education so that special interests that you agree with can manipulate what people learn. If education was liberated with everyone going through charity you would be against it to prove my point. Also, you may want to do a little bit of research. Most of the top universities in the world are in the US. Thirteen of the top twenty are in the US. None are in your example of Norway.

Just because you are terribly unable to communicate beyond a seemingly standard vocabulary of 200 word (or even less), and superficial talking points, all superimposed with your own historical ignorance and lack of critical thought does not mean I am “confused”, child. Italy, before becoming a central republic, with centralised government, was ruled by powerful merchants and banks. Stop attributing claims and positions to me I have never made. It makes your “argument” that much more pathetic

As I said, we are on the same page as far as desiring a minimalist govt. I’m merely providing a few counter-examples to your original post. I grow weary of partisan politics. It is not constructive to berate either “liberal” or “conservative.”

If you are not familiar with GS and GLB Acts – I would encourage you to study them. GS had it right and GLB repealed important aspects of GS allowing the greed of Wall Street to screw the entire WORLD.

I would also encourage you to listen to R Paul.

We all know that Ron Paul rocks. What he was saying was that WE need to also rock. Ron Paul has served well honorably. WE can’t let it die. It is up to US to carry these ideas onward and implement them into our lives.

Well done fat dumbasses, get a Happy Meal up your fat-asses. You let a great man been evicted from politics. The only man that could have made your country what once was. The “american dream” will no longer exist again, i hope you are happy in your miserable empire, which will soon come to an end. The founding fathers are weeping because of his departure, and so should you. The indifference on how your government it’s run it’s appauling. The country it’s not longer yours but only owned by a few.

Good riddance. Anyone who denies evolution and global warming is too irrational to be trusted with anything, let alone governance. He is, to boot, a racist, though he comically claims not to have read his own newsletters.

I’m not arguing regulation since that term is very vague. The laissez faire thinkers do prove a point in more ways but being stubborn doesn’t get you far. Regulations, give the effectiveness and whether it is business friendly, that is, it still allows competition to enter the markets. The regulations are good/bad and need to be heavily debated. I don’t see your last argument. More regulations doesn’t make anything better. It just impedes on growth.

Both George Washington and Benjamin Franklin made arguments during the Constitution congressional sessions that jews should be explicitly banned from citizenship in the US Constitution otherwise, they proffered, their granchildren would wake up slaves to the jews – and with today 90% of all US billionaires are jews! So there you go! Yes you are a jew. You believe in the right of Israel to exist? Then go live there!

After thinking about the semantics a little more, I realize you are right. While the government DOES have the power to use force, it is always and ONLY as a /response/ to particular, defined scenarios, commonly known as crime. The government does NOT have the right to /initiate/ force, only to respond with force. I knew what I meant, but I used the wrong words in my response. Thanks for calling me out on that.

RP 2012 The real President Of Our United States. You will be missed. Who else can we count on in Congress to stand up the “Status Quo;” exposing the “fraud” and going Mano al Mano with the Chariman of the Federal Reserve? Amazing how this Patriot’s message was distorted, ridiculed, ingnored, discredited, mocked and squelched.

We appear to be on the same page, but given enough time, big cap companies do tend to merge if they don’t become obsolete in the interim.

There are other regulations we absolutely need. The repeal of Glass(D)-Steagall(D) Act with the Gramm(R)Leach(R)Blilely(R) Act is widely regarded as the catalyst for the current world financial meltdown. Dodd(D)&Frank(D) were co-conspirators in this debacle.

Both D’s & R’s are to blame here.

The financial sector needs the MOST regulation. The
