Love Ron Paul. But guys, lots of angry posts here. Be civil, and honor Dr. Paul.

Thats so not true, because the private sector lobbies day and night do deregulate as many laws as they can. Think of it like freedom, you can have it, but you loose it the second you stop fighting for it. Its an ongoing struggle between two opposite goals. The goal of the worker and the goal of the owner. AKA class struggle.

Just take a look at the Walmart situation, if anything they need a stronger union. How can this have gone on for so long? Because no one organized them.

Part of me thinks Ron Paul was a barometer for the ruling class. Had he garnered more attention thus support, then they would know it was time to move in and remove the problem, us. From all of the esteem given to the banksters, corporations, and politically corrupt – we have to at least know that a real purveyor of such truth would not look, act, and talk just like one of them. A person who is honest and truly believes what he is saying would speak much louder and more often to more people.

You are too uneducated for this discussion. Sorry, but thats the truth.

First of all you description of socialism is wrong, wiki it.
Just the fact that you seem to think that socialism is ONE philosophy demonstrates your ignorance, just to name one, libertarian socialism, belives in the abolishment of all governments. Yeah how does that fit into your stupid strawman argument?

Also, even by your description, name ONE social democracy that belives in that please? Oh snap.

Fmaack, WTF is wrong with you? The only non-corrupt politician to ever exist, warning us of the dangers we face and all you want is an economic collapse followed by anarchy. But judging from the current economic situation, I’m sure you’ll get your wish! When there is no money left for your lazy ass, please come and try to loot me, I’ll be ready!

“All branches of our government today are controlled by individuals who use their power to undermine liberty and enhance the welfare warfare state and frequently their own wealth and power. ” – Ron Paul

“If the people are unhappy with the government performance it must be recognized that government is merely a reflection of an immoral society that rejected a moral government, a constitutional limits on power, and love of freedom. ” – Ron Paul

God forgive us for rejecting this man.

In fact, if you went to school at all, or didn’t sleep through it, maybe you’d understand the purpose of capitalization and punctuation.

Clearly you didn’t go to school, or else you’d realize that K-12 is paid for by the government and college isn’t controlled by the government.

Oh, and “Obammer” is still paying for my college education, thank you very much. That includes the 30% you mention. Thank you Obama for Pell Grants.

    I’ve invalidated your argument.

Ron Paul asks questions about policies that do not work. Take Medicare: The average male will put in $140k over a lifetime and take >$400k in what the government calls “benefits.” Asking questions does not make someone a conspiracy theorist, loon or someone with broken ideas. I have to ask: Why did you make a comparison between Paul and Duke? You are attempting a point through exaggeration, but the point isn’t clear. Clarify if you can.

ideas like cut unnecessary spending across the board, lower taxes, remove ourselves from a murder business in the middle east that have no substantial purpose other than causing destruction in others homes and the manipulation of oil, request more honesty from washington, lower government powers that were never meant to be.

He represents what the forefathers were for…. why is that so crazy?

There are lots of “people” out there like Ron. I imagine there are even some that are better at standing up against bullies. It took Ron nearly 29 years before people really started to pay attention to him.

there have been studies that a few demographics in obama’s 08 following voted again for him in 2012 due to concerns on civil liberties and the free market system being rejuvenated by a real down to earth representative like Paul.

Your a fool, he is the only man that stands for true freedom for every one individual no matter what status you are, his prejudice only resides in the government, and those who oppose good. He represents people like YOU, who spit on him, detest him, but he fights for your freedoms still.

The last man with INTEGRITY has left congress. God bless America…

Absolutely correct. Most people have enough common sense not to vote for someone who would destroy 99% of the welfare state. He’s a fucking nutbag. Only sociopaths on the internet support this guy and it seems they’re all too afraid to leave Mom’s basement to actually go out and vote for the guy. Good thing too because Amerikkka would be fucked under Ron Paul as president. It would be worse than having Romney as Pres.

Because the masses want a PAPA who they think will listen to them when in fact he will do no such thing. Representative Democracy has failed in Amerika and the rest of the world. I hope Ron Paul goes off and dies somewhere quickly and takes the rest of the Libertardians with him.

You state the obvious about the patriot act good job. Before quoting an article you must first analyze it to acquire full uderstanding to do this you must go back to the people who wrote it. I know my reasoning is correct. The document is not living you cannot use your interpretation. If you do this the document is irrelevant. You must understand the philosophy of the time to understand the true meaning. I shall give you a short story by David Crockett called Not Yours to Give.

The fourth amendment proves the patriot act is unconstitutional. There is nothing in the constitution that leads me to believe that not having the gold standard is unconstitutional. If you can point to where the constitution says this, I’ll change my opinion. I’m against social programs like social security and medicare, but to say these things are unconstitutional isn’t right. Congress has the power to collect taxes to provide for the general welfare. article 1 section 8.

A tribe is not a society.

If I force a gun to someone’s head and tell him to give all his money to a starving child, is it “cowardly” to criticize me? The ends do not always justify the means.

Actually our unfunded liabilities are are over $100 trillion and growing, driven by Medicare/Medicaid. The net worth of the Forbes 400 is only 1.7 trillion. Moreover, if you took all the money from the 500 biggest corporations, it would fund the government for a little over a month.

Your statement it overflows with socialism-fascism whichever word you want to use for in the end it is the same. More proof of misedcuation. General welfare of the people does not mean Nanny State if you take the time to read the debates of that era you would not put such ignorant comments. You should start with a book called The Law by Frederick Bastiat, and maybe even the constitutional debates or the Federalist Papers. It is not constitutional. Its as constitutional as the Patriot Act.
