    I think the proper term is rights existed before government. Rights must be protected by government but just because people will violate them in pure anarchy doesn’t mean they don’t exist among moral people.

    Also, thinking about in the terms you are… is well, sad. In our life time we will not see evolution take society where it will end up, but it will happen. We will grow completely away from the idea of nationalism and greed, only so many wars can be waged, only so many bodies may lay in the ground because of our own action, eventually we will grow away from this sad struggle for power. I am sorry I am apart of a nation, which it can’t bear to see go away. The same thing will only happen again.

    I am only a realist, whom grew up country. I have spoken with many Russians and we agree, this countries polices are absurd, so are many other countries. It is silly to think we will dissolve, you clearly don’t understand our people. When we collapse financially ( not dissolve ), we will be fine. What the worst thing that can happen? We have plenty of land, labor, and capitol. Ya gonna take us over? Good luck, oceans are quite large. I’m not a nationalist, I don’t care who has power. I use logic

    The law has always existed. I don’t care if you believe in a god, deity, or nothing, to deny this is undeniably moronic. To believe that people don’t have an innate sense of basic morals such as don’t murder, don’t rape, and don’t steal is nothing but ignorant. A government’s purpose is to harness the natural law of things to help make everyone’s lives better (this needs to be done, as we live in a corrupt world with corrupt people). The US government fails at doing this in a logical, sane way.

    When did any form of government start existing?
    The founders stated that they believed that the rights listed in the bill of rights existed prior to the Constitution, ergo, thats what kind of Government you exist in and if ya don’t like it…you should move

    There’s a button on US Debt Clock in the upper right where you can select “time machine” back to the year 2000. If you look at the 2000 US Debt Clock and the “Money Creation’ line, you’ll notice that instead of ‘Derivatives’, it says ‘Bank Profits’ and the number of US treasury securities is increasing instead of decreasing. Now, the kicker is that the M2 money supply is still increasing .

    Incorrect…The law existed prior to the Government. The Government protects the law and rights do NOT come from the Constitution. The Constitution merely acknowledges those rights as per the founders themselves. Rights are not a “Legal concept” Rights are natural and supersede the legal system. Government is simply a tool of the people and the people are not subject to the whims of Government as you suggest. Government is a tool…Like a hammer…Except without as much substance, get it?

    Let me help you understand. Rights are legal concepts. The fact that you think a government can undermine its own legitimacy is all I need to say. Legitimate-leges-of the law…the government makes the law, the government enforces the law, the government interprets the law. Law is not self existent. The law is whatever the government says it is. “Illegitimate government” is a contradiction. You’re also attempting to impose morality on reality, but that’s besides the point.

    The rights come from the constitution as the supreme legal document. Not from being natural. Which is to say the rights contained in the constitution don’t exist outside of the legal jurisdiction of that document. Once again, you’re using words you don’t understand and trying to be snarky to distract from the fact that you don’t know what you’re talking about.

    Except in a republic where in those rights are asserted as being natural…As well as where the ones that wrote the Constitution in the first place stated explicitly that Government has no authority over our rights…Oh, you didn’t know? Need a quote? Don’t tell me you didn’t know the US is a Republic?. Your denial of “rights” is a denial of what is right. When others govern your rights, they are in fact NOT rights…Do you understand what a right is? “Hint” it’s different from a privilege
