So, I make around $64k/yr and with the payroll tax increase as part of the Fiscal Cliff deal, I lost about $100/wk. That comes out to around $5000/yr I am losing. This statistic is bullshit.

Quite if the majority of congress had courage, they can overule the president.
As the constitution only grants the power to declare wars to congress, all this wars are illegal. But what good is having the authority without the will to excersise it. When the secretary of defense told that they did not need permision from congress because they had the authority from the UN, the guy should have being arrested for high treason on the spot.

And the majority choose a known liar instead of this guy?
Democracy fatal flaw. The vote of a fool have as much weight as the vote of the wise. Once again the result as proven to be foolishness.

I wish I had Troy Ounce with his raised Face… That would be an investment I’d never cash out. I’d pass that coin down to my kids.

I disagree. Ron Paul has been very vocal about his ideas from day one, his position has not changed AT ALL (not because of retirement). But you’re right, he is what other politicians (statesmen) should aspire to. It’s sad that we do not have a democracy in the United States. Ron Paul accurately predicted everything that happened in the past decade and the media calls him “crazy” for some reason. If you didn’t vote for him, then you pissed on the constitution.

I like how Ron Paul goes off in the interview because he is retiring, more hard truths then usual. He is what all politicians should aspire to be.

He hits the nail on the head–too much bipartisanship and compromise. Yet the MSM continues to put out the propaganda that we need MORE bipartisanship and compromise.

It’s better he wasn’t elected. The U.S. is past the tipping point. It would be an absolute shame if Libertarian ideas – which could have prevented our troubles – finally came into the forefront after it was too late to stop anything. People in general are stupid, they don’t understand the nature of cause-and-effect, and would blame Libertarians for the downfall. No, like the black plague, big-government statism must first run its course, and *then* will come an age for great men like Ron Paul.

Drawing a parallel between scam companies , and their customs agency.
Using their advice to recognize and report scam companies. hehe

You are misinformed and have most likely never been to America. I live in Europe now, but to be honest, the girls are the only people in the U.S. that are wholly overweight. Guys in the U.S, may even be slimmer than Europeans. I thought people who watch Ron Paul would have more intelligent things to say but i guess I’m wrong.

I am not calious to the fact that poor people may need help at times just like the rich people do, but what poor people, middle class people, rich people really need is a healthy ecomony and to take our power back that the goverment has taken away. Yes we do need to invite more diversity into the election campaigns, i don’t know about you but sick of seeing the letter (R) and (D) all the time. I like Ron Paul i think he is fit to run for president to bad we had to wait this long!

The truth hurts. He must have an iron will to have lasted that long in congress. Hopefully, he is right about the next generation making a positive difference.

“We’ve passed the opportunity to work our way out of this & now the inevitable [financial collapse] will just be delayed.”
-Exactly right! Ron Paul was also correct in saying that Congress wouldn’t do anything until after the first of the year & that it would just be another temporary measure & that no meaningful spending cuts would be made.
Why didn’t America listen to Ron Paul whose been so right for so long on so many things?

RP would have made immediate changes in foreign policy, and if Congress wouldn’t participate I’m sure would have done exc orders to get a lot done. It sickens me how both parties will entertain cutting domestic/welfare spending but wont even talk about foreign aide or ending wars
