It's worth noting that the "Bill of Rights" had 12 articles, not the 10 that became the 10 amendments (and the 27th amendment later on).

The only article of the Bill of Rights not to become an amendment was the article of the Right of Proportional Representation, if it had passed it would of required one House of Representatives member per 50,000, so instead of 435 reps, America would have about ~ 6,500!

The United States has the WORST proportional representation rate in the world of any "democratic government".

And they can't use the excuse of overcrowding and population size, after all, China, with it's 1.4 billion population, still has better proportional representation in their Congress (they have 2,000 congressmen)! It's rather sad when even the Chinese have more proportional representation.

Ron is wrong about state governments.

Texas, which has one of the worst proportional representation rates in the country, still has about 10x better proportional representative government than the federal government. So it would be vastly easier to change the Texas government with a representative per 180,000 people to reflect the will of the people than it is to change the DC government which is one rep per 1 million people.

Plus, if Texas leaves it likely would expand it's House of Reps.

Johnson only got 1 per cent of the votes cast. If they all went for Romney it wouldn't have mattered.

Rand Paul will never follow in his fathers foot steps. He is from a different generation and does not remember when america was great.

Where's your evidence that Johnson took more votes from Romney than Obama?

No chance? The popular vote was split 51% to 47%. That's a slim margin to win an election on. As was noted in the run up to the 2012 election, those fringe votes for Gary Johnson got Barack Obama elected. tnx for nothing foolish Libertarian Party.

Actually that's the first thing that crossed my mind, and that's what I find disappointing. People with good intentions who support evil today in the name of good tomorrow find that tomorrow never comes. Tu ne cede malis.

I was originally disappointed by the Romney endorsement. Ever since, I've payed close attention to Rand's actions.

    1. Introduced Audit the Fed into the Senate.
    2. Introduced an amendment to the NDAA to re-affirm the 6th amendment.
    3. Filibustered foreign aid to pakistan, the containment of Iran and the NDAA.
    4. Been an all around defender of liberty.

All of this virtually by himself. For pete's sake people, did it ever cross your mind that his endorsement of Romney might have been strategic?

lol no of course they have. Rand introduced him at the Rally for the Future before the RNC ... I was there.

Rand endorsed Romney so that way we would not all be to blame for Obama winning. Even though in reality Romney had no chance anyway

There are so many it would take weeks to share. And they can only be accurately understood as the Holy Spirit gives understanding. Our own fleshly mind is meaningless with it's fleshly take on things. God's word is God breathed, which is why the natural man cannot receive it. Maybe that doesn't make sense to you, but try reading a book without knowing the author's handiwork, style and personality. You get a rough idea why it can be so difficult to impart to another.

That it that's your only reason? For goodness sake man he said he was going to do that two years ago. Back during his campaign in 2010 he pledged to the GOP that he would support the nominee because they were concerned he wouldn't. No one will replace Ron Paul but Rand is doing good on the senate floor.

If Rand endorsed Romney, than he endorsed the neo-conservative status quo and all the immoral policies that come with it. Then how he treated Abby Martin, a reporter who simply wanted to ask him about the Romney endorsement. I honestly don't have the same trust in Rand. He seems colder than his father and some of his actions have made it clear that he is not going to fill his fathers shoes. Endorsing Romney before Ron even conceded? Ron Paul would never compromise his integrity. Would Rand?

Just think before you assume that he have would have betrayed his father. Ron is his hero and they seem like a tightly woven family. I seriously doubt Rand would not believe in his father. Most people respect their father, and I bet he is a better ron Paul supporter than all of us

Right...because you've been following what he's doing in the senate and he's just trashing the constitution like the rest of them huh? Tell you what, when you catch Rand do something unconstitutional then I might quote you but right now you have no basis to have any fear.

Ron Paul did good raising him. He's voted against Guantanamo, Iran resolutions, and the TSA. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
