I don’t agree with everything Ron Paul has to say but he appears to have more intellectual prowess than the rest of the 2012 Republican candidates put together. I have read a few times that American voters tend to go for candidates that they feel are like them, whereas in the UK we expect politicians to be better educated and more intelligent, which would explain the likes of George Bush or Sarah Palin. Either way a great loss to American Politics.

i love this guy (Ron Paul), a true American, in over 20 years as a politician he has never flip flopped on his interests, never caught in a lie, but feared by the present establishment. i would follow this man in a revolutition and die knowing it was for freedom and the freedom of my children and grandchildren as the founding fathers did.

The more I listened to Ron Paul, the more I learned about our government and our Constitution. Too bad the media wouldn’t give him a chance to speak to the masses. He would have taught them a thing or two about the value of liberty and the dangers of tyranny.
