They won’t fix anything, because the goal is to bankrupt America to install a NWO.
Stop feading the BEAST, stop paying income taxes. They crush us with our own money. Without our money, they would be powerless!

Raise the taxes the FED needs more interest money. The American people have been sold out since 1913.

Oh great, another “media hates Ron Paul” conspiracy. He was on TV and featured in the debates numerous times. Many a story was written about him in newspapers and magazines all over, often PRAISING his supporters for their zeal and passion. Why can’t you simply accept the fact that he just wasn’t deemed as electable by most Americans?

I agree with Paul in that neither side is putting any significant cuts on the table.
However, it’s impossible for us to get over this cliff without raising revenue. Tax hikes -even small ones – are a virtual certainty if we are to pass a balanced budget and fix our deficit.

There are too many people who either don’t do the research or don’t believe its a real problem. Just like Greece, people are lulled and if it doesn’t SEEM broke, why fix it?

‘Free Market’ problems… Why are you capitalizing random words? It doesn’t make any sense. That’s okay, the money can be used to improve the countries infrastructure and that’ll create jobs. Problem solved kiddo

For something totally different!
This is an invitation to see an artist theory on the physics of light & time
Based on:
1 Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ or probability function represents the forward passage of time itself with the future coming into existence photon by photon
2 Is that HUP ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event within our own ref-frame that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!

That or they’ll move their business to countries where they can be profitable. Congress knows this, the President isn’t dumb, he knows this as well. They continue the spending though because that’s what the people vote for, that’s how they keep their job.
Sorry… Venting a little on youtube.

More specifically, like for instance, policy. Do you think that the government should implement any policy that will affect the market of certain sectors negatively?

Congress will spend all the money they take in plus a lot more.
The rich already pay the vast majority of America’s taxes, and the government has a BIG spending problem.

Smart comment from Paul… As usual. A voice of reason, in a vast sea of insane and corrupt conformity.

Ah, Ron Paul’s main weakness nepotism. That still doesn’t detract from the fact that all of his policies from spending to foreign policy & social policy are correct.

What I see as simply needed is to cut the over bloated military budget down. I have no problem with a good strong defense but the over-bloated pointless military endeavors all over the world are pointless and terroristic. Dr. Paul is and has been my choice for years now. An individual who goes buy the Constitution is the one for me. The rest are pawns for the M.I.C. and the corporations who own America.

If by gov you mean the people than absolutely there is a role of the gov in the market. A central bank (Federal Reserve System) is contrary to capitalism & free market economics. The federal gov with its three branches of checks & balances is designed so that no branch can have a stranglehold of power. Now executive orders, line item veto, & the war powers act have unbalanced the system. IF there were NO central bank the congress would have to address their constituants.

but is there ever an instance when government should have some sort of influence on a market, not the whole market, but certain sectors? Why or why not?

People need to understand the principles behind tax increases if they want to address the issues we face. Raising them is just another “fix.”
